As Jack, Cynthia, and Professor Rowan made their way back to Pallet Town, Jack couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and trepidation. He had been given a great responsibility, and he was determined to live up to it.

When they arrived in Pallet Town, Jack's mother greeted them warmly. "Welcome back, Jack! I've missed you."

Jack's mother looked at him curiously. "What is it, Jack?"

Jack took a deep breath. "I've been chosen to be a guardian of the balance between the worlds," he said.

His mother's eyes widened in surprise. "That's amazing, Jack! I'm so proud of you."
