Battle Across The Omniverse

Jayr POV - Universe 7, Earth, West City - Age 779

Hearing Whis say that, I let out a loud snort catching everyone's attention before I smirk and say, "Hmpf. I beg to disagree. I don't know where the idea that Goku's motivation to become stronger would get affected if he finds out that Monaka is actually weak comes from. I mean even if Monaka was actually the strongest being in Universe 7 it wouldn't mean much. After all, there are quite a few being much more powerful than Goku and Vegeta living in the other universes. Some of them are so powerful that even the God of Destruction of those universes can't defeat them in a fight."

In response to my words, everyone exclaims in shock but the loudest of them all is without any doubt, Goku who returned a few seconds after Whis finished speaking and obviosly heard everything I just say, and as soon as everyone notices Goku's presence, they all yell in perfect sync, "GOKU!!!"

Shortly after that, Goku rushes to my position and asks in a very excited tone, "Is what you were just sayin' the truth!? Are there really quite a few people much more powerful than Vegeta and I livin' in the other universes!? People so strong that even the God of Destruction of those universes can't defeat 'em in a fight!?"

In response, I smile, nod and say in a confident tone, "Yes, it is absolutely the truth." which makes Goku grin widely as he exclaim, "This is awesome!!"

At this point, a curious Whis chuckles and asks, "Hohoho. How do you know about this, Jayr-sama? If I'm not wrong you arrived in this universe just a few days ago?" before Beerus, who is sending me a seething glare, asks in an annoyed tone, "More importantly, how it is possible that we didn't take notice of Goku's arrival? Even if we were focusing on you, it is impossible for someone of my and Whis' caliber to miss it!" 

After hearing Beerus' question, a smirk forms on my face as I cheekily reply, "It is pretty simple... I just hid Goku-san's presence in such a way that it made it possible for you to completely ignore his presence allowing him to easily sneak on you all." earning an even fiercer and annoyed glare from Beerus.

Then I ignore him and look at Whis before I calmly answers his question, "Regarding Whis-san's question, it is a little bit more complex. You remember when I explained the basic abilities and powers of the Saints to you guys, right?"

Seeing them all nod in response to my question, I continue with my explanation, "Well, following the Power System of my home universe, the Awakening of the 8th Sense is the utmost limit that a Mortal can reach. At such a level, a mortal can sense everything that is happening in the universe by simply focusing all their senses. In simple words, if a Saint who Awakened his or her 8th Sense were present in this universe at this moment, by focusing all his or her 8 senses, he or she would easily be able to perceive everything in this universe no matter how far they are nor how strong or weak their Ki is, even the Otherworld and the Demon Realm wouldn't be out of their range." 

Hearing that, an impressed Whis can't stop himself from praising out loud, "Oh my! Such a vast range is indeed very impressive... I am able to perceive everything about this universe even though I use my staff as support! The fact that Mortals can achieve such feat on their own is truly incredible!" followed by Piccolo who completely agrees, "Indeed, such wide range is truly something scary... I still remember how overwhelming watching over the whole planet was at first when I was Kami... magnifying such experience to a universal scale feels almost incomprehensible." 

At this point, Beerus snorts loudly and complains in an annoyed tone, "Hmpf! Yeah, yeah... this is all very fascinating, but he still didn't tell us why he knows about what is going on in the other universes."

In response to Beerus' words, I smile wryly and say, "If you give me the time to fully explain, I'll make everything clear. I just wanted to give you some background information to make it easier for you all to understand the next part." 

Then I focus back on the main topic, "As I was saying before, using my home universe Power System the 8th Sense is the absolute limit that a Mortal is able to achieve, but that doesn't mean that it is the absolute end. There is one last step, the 9th Sense named also Godhood or Divinity. It is the "supreme virtue", and the Sense that separates a god from lower beings. To awaken such Sense, a mortal must reach True Enlightenment, of the likes of which rarely ever happened after the Age of Myth, in fact, I'm likely the first Mortal in millions of years that was able to do so in my universe. After Awakening the 9th a Mortal ascends to Godhood and is able to gain a Cosmic Awareness whose range is virtually without limits as long as the Deity in question is powerful enough. This means that if a God of my home universe focuses on his Cosmic Awareness, he or she may be able to sense and perceive everything that is happening even across multiple universes. That's how I know about the existence of such powerful warriors, I simply used my Cosmic Awareness to take a peek at the 12 Universes under Zeno's control."

After saying that, I take a look at everyone's shocked face before a smirk forms on my face and I add, "Of course, I only took a quick summary sneaky peek without focusing too much on it as I didn't want to spoil the fun experience of discovery too much." 

Suddenly, Whis lets out a sigh and comments, "Oh my...! It appears that the Deities in your universe are much more capable compared with those in the universes under Zeno-sama's control. Especially when I compare them with a certain lazy God of Destruction..." but then Beerus quickly interrupts him by yelling, "Whis!"

Shortly after Whis and Beerus say that an excited Goku lets out a shout before he comments, "Woah! This is awesome! So there are people out there who are even more powerful than the God of Destruction! I can't wait to fight with 'em all!! Too bad that Monaka is actually weak, I really have the urge to have an exciting battle with someone at the moment..."

Hearing that, I focus back on the still very excited but slightly disappointed Goku and say, "I almost forgot! Even if you can't fight Monaka since he is actually very weak, if you want to spar against a very powerful opponent you don't even have to wait for the Tournament of Power or travel to another universe as there are already a couple of individuals in this universe that are more than powerful enough to truly push you even further than Hit did during the Tournament of Destroyers. One of them is even very close by."

Even more excited, Goku looks at me with gleaming eyes as he asks, "Very close!? Are you goin' to spar with me? Or are you goin' to let me spar with Patamon? I remember hearing that he is also quite powerful..."

In response to his enthusiasm, I let out a chuckle but before I can say anything, Patamon quickly laughs and says, "Hahaha. I don't think it is wise for you to face Jayr. He would likely be able to destroy you in a few exchanges and that with him severely holding himself back to make sure to not damage the surroundings. If he goes all out it is very likely that a few universes would be destroyed in a single serious attack. But I would gladly-"

But before Patamon can continue, I shut him up by covering his mouth with my hand and say, "Patamon won't fight you yet, after all, he plans to join the tournament hosted by Zeno and a spar between you two could spoil the fun experience of discovering his abilities during a serious battle."

Shortly after saying that, I apologized to Goku and explained, "Anyway, sorry about that. Patamon was a little too direct with his words, but that doesn't mean that they aren't true. If I start to fight seriously I truly can cause a little too much damage for my liking, but that isn't the main reason behind my refusal to fight you, as I'm sure that we can have a fun spar even with me holding you back. On top of that, if I want to battle against someone without holding back I can always make use of my Battle Universe to do that."

Hearing that, a curious Beerus can't help but step into the discussion and ask, "Battle Universe? What is it?" to which I calmly reply, "The Battle Universe is a reinforced, isolated, and mostly empty universe that I create when I want to fight against an opponent without holding back and worrying about any damage that our battle could cause to the universe I'm visiting and any other innocent people."

Shortly after my explanation, Beerus can't help but comment impressed, "Woah! That seems like a damn useful place! I lost count of how many times I had to cut my fun short in fear of destroying everything." followed by Whis who genuinely praises, "As expected from someone acknowledged by Zeno-sama... Creating a whole universe just for the sake of battle is quite an impressive feat."

At this point, the relentless Goku can't hold himself back anymore and asks, "Come on, Jayr! If you weren't talkin' about you or Patamon then who is this very strong opponent who I can spar against!?"

I glance at Goza for a brief moment before I look back at Goku and reply without any hesitation on my part, "I'm talking about your son, Goza."

Hearing that, Goku looks clearly surprised while Vegeta snorts and exclaims, "Hmpf! Goza!? Are you kidding us? Sure he is quite powerful, very likely the strongest person among all the other people present if we ignore you, Whis-san, Beerus-sama, Kakarot, and I! I won't deny the fact that he grows stronger like no one else and that in his Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, he is a true force of nature. But his battle experience and battle awareness are severely lacking, he is simply way too used in defeating opponents by throwing around his overwhelming power leaving him with many exploitable openings. On top of that, Goza started to fall behind once again when Kakarot unlocked his Super Saiyan God transformation there is no way that he can compete with us now that we have attained the Super Saiyan Blue level." 

Listening to Vegeta's explanation, I can't help but nod and agree while thinking, 'Indeed, that is something that I also noticed. Legendary Super Saiyan Goza is indeed very powerful, but if I compare him with what I have seen Broly do in the anime, he is severely lacking. The only thing that constantly improved during our battle was indeed ONLY his Ki level. His fighting techniques and martial arts remained at the same level throughout the whole battle, only increasing in sheer power thanks to his increasing Ki levels. He wasn't like Broly who constantly improved his Ki AND his fighting techniques as fought. If I have to actually rate Legendary Super Saiyan Goza, he is at a level between Kale and Broly, because of that, it isn't difficult for me to imagine that the current Goku and Vegeta can easily deal with him without even using Super Saiyan Blue.' 

At this point I smile wryly while thinking, 'But this is only in regards to Legendary Super Saiyan Goza, Legendary Super Saiyan 4 Goza is a whole other beast altogether. In that form, not only does his Ki constantly increase even faster, but his body as a whole is also much stronger, and on top of that, his Saiyan Instincts are fully awakened to the point that his battle awareness becomes utterly scary making it completely comparable to what I think is Ultra Instinct. Legendary Super Saiyan 4 Goza is strong to the point that I was forced to use one of my ultimate moves, the Ascension of the Divine Dragon Lord, to defeat him. This is more than enough to prove just how crazy that transformation is.'

While thinking that, I maintain a wry smile on my face and calmly reply, "That may be true for the Goza you knew a few months ago, but since then a lot of things happened. While you and Goku-san advanced by further refining and developing your Super Saiyan God transformation, Goza didn't stay still. He too moved forward, but he decided to go in a completely different direction compared to yours. While you and Goku-san decided to delve into the mysteries of God Ki and its application, Goza chose to delve even further into the mysteries of your unique Saiyan heritage unlocking a transformation whose power and potential are equal to that of the Super Saiyan God."

At this point, Goku fully focuses on his son Goza and asks excitedly, "Goza! Is it true!? Did you really find a transformation as strong as the Super Saiyan God!?"

As everyone now focuses on a shy Goza who is awkwardly scratching his cheek with his finger, Whis lets out a chuckle and says, "Hohoho. I can personally confirm that what Jayr-sama is saying is indeed the truth. Shortly after the battle against Beerus-sama, Goza-kun told me the idea behind this new transformation and training plans but since he wasn't fully confident and worried about the damage he could cause during his training, he sought my help. I admit that I was fully intrigued by the idea and so, I accepted to help him. After some time, he was successful and the power behind his transformation utterly shocked me proving that his idea was a true stroke of genius. Unfortunately, before we could further refine the transformation, Goza-kun left, but I can state without any doubt that the power granted by that form is more than a match for a Super Saiyan Blue."

With Whis' attestation, Goku doesn't waste any time and immediately focuses back on his son and requests, "This is incredible, Goza! You have to show me this new transformation! Let's spar!!" followed by Vegeta who crosses his arms, snort, and comments, "Since even Whis-san acknowledges this new transformation, then I must witness if it is truly this incredible." 

At this point, Goza agrees to spar with his father, but before the two can start, I interrupt them and suggest taking everyone to my Battle Universe so that the two can fight without worrying too much about the consequences.

Everyone immediately agreed and without wasting any time, I immediately transported everyone to the Battle Universe that I created this morning and kept reinforcing until now.

As soon as we step on the grassy meadow of a random Earth-like planet, Whis curiously looks around and mutters, "So this is the Battle Universe... How fascinating..." followed by Beerus who snorts and exclaims in what seems a disappointed tone, "Hmpf! This place looks exactly like Earth, it doesn't seem like it will be able to withstand a serious fight between Goku and Goza!"

Hearing that, I smirk and suggest while pointing at a random rocky mountain in the distance, "If you think so, why don't you try to destroy that mountain over there."

In response to my suggestion, Beerus clicks his tongue and pointing a finger at that mountain, he casually fires a small Ki Blast that quickly reaches its target and generates a powerful explosion on impact, one so strong that the earth under our feet starts to shake making Beerus snort loudly.

But soon the smoke generated by the explosion clears away revealing the completely intact rocky mountain much to the shock of everyone else.

"Oh my...!"

"Incredible!"

"How it this possible!?"

"The mountain is fine even after receiving a casual blow from Beerus-sama!?"

"Just how hard is that mountain!?"

At this point, I look at Beerus and explain, "Even if everything here looks completely normal, it is reinforced to the point that it is even more stable and durable than a higher world. To destroy or damage anything on this planet, one has to use enough power to completely wipe out an entire galaxy."

After saying that, I look at Goku and Goza and say, "With this, you two can fight to your heart's content without worrying about anything else."

Hearing that, Goku smiles brightly before he exclaims, "I'm gettin' excited! Show me what you's got, Goza!" followed by Goza who also smiles and says, "Yes, Father!"

Shortly after that, the two fly up in the air followed by Whis who took on the role as referee, and then after Whis gives the signal, the two start the battle.

The one who takes the initiative is Goku who yells, "Let's start with a little warm-up!" before he rushes toward Goza and immediately starts to attack his son with a quick rush of blows, but Goza shows that he is very familiar with his father's habits as he easily blocks and parries all his attacks before he throws his own counter-attacks.

The exchange between the two quickly grows in intensity as they pick up speed and power but it is clear that Goku is slowly gaining a slight edge over his son showing his immense experience but despite that they are still mostly equal.

Soon the father and son battle grows even fiercer as the two start to flare up their Ki enveloping their bodies in white flame-like auras before the two clash with such force that snuffs out their auras and pushes them both back by a few meters.

At this point, Goku smirks and comments, "Hehe. I am glad to see that you didn't slack off during the time you were away. I can't wait anymore! Let's kick up the pace even more!"

Shortly after saying that, Goku's Ki changes fundamentally as his aura bursts out once again but this time it resembles a raging fire while at the same time, he transforms into a Super Saiyan God.

In this form, Goku possesses magenta-red hair that retains its natural style but becomes more refined losing any stray hairs, his eyes become more detailed, and the irises become red appearing a lot more relaxed even in the excited heat of the battle. 

The overall body structure appears to become younger and thinner in frame and build, even his skin appears to be more healthy taking a more pinkish hue.

Shortly after transforming, a small smirk forms on Goku's face as he calmly looks at his son and says, "I'm ready now. Come on, show me this new transformation of yours! I'm just too curious, I can't wait to experience it!"

In response, Goza also smiles back and asks, "Father, do you know the reason why I chose to never remove my tail?"

Hearing Goza's question, Goku tilts his head and tries to guess, "Isn't it because you wanted to keep it in case you needed to manage the excess, uncontrollable Ki generated by your Legendary Super Saiyan transformation just like we did when you were a baby?"

Goza continues to smile and explains, "At first that was the reason, but once I got some measure of control over my Ki that was no longer necessary. No, the real reason why I kept my tail was that after the battle with Vegeta, I became very fascinated with our Oozaru transformation. Such primal power is always hidden in our bodies that could only be unleashed when a Saiyan takes a look at a moon... it was just so unique and interesting that I wanted to learn more about it. But before I could do that, the battle on Namek happened and with it, we discovered the much better Super Saiyan transformation making the old Oozaru transformation fall out of favor and become forgotten by everyone else to the point that even Vegeta-san and Nappa-san chose to remove their tails."

Hearing that, Vegeta snorts and comments, "What a fool! The Oozaru Transformation only increases our power by 10 times. On top of that, the bigger body is way too big of a target, and let's not ignore the loss of agility resulting from the bigger mass and size!" but Nappa then says, "Come on, Vegeta! It wasn't that bad. We had a lot of fun with it in the past. I kinda miss it." 

At this point, Goza's gaze becomes more focused as he continues with pure wonder in his tone, "But I didn't forget about as I felt that I shouldn't forget about such transformation so heavily tied to our identity. So, once I learned to fully control myself when in Legendary Super Saiyan form, I moved one to learn how to do so when in Oozaru form and shockingly found out that I could already do so as the berserking impulses I felt were exactly the same I learned to deal with when transformed in a Legendary Super Saiyan. On top of that, I also found out that I could still transform into a Legendary Super Saiyan even if I was in the Oozaru form and more surprisingly, in that state, the out-of-control energy of the Legendary Super Saiyan was completely contained by the body without any risk of increasing to the point that my body exploded. No matter how much my Ki increased, my Oozaru body could withstand it. It was almost perfect!"

Hearing that, Vegeta can't help but exclaim in shock, "What!? You are telling me that the Oozaru form is able to withstand the constantly increasing Ki of the Legendary Super Saiyan!? Could it be that the Oozaru transformation really hides more secrets than we thought!?"

Then Goza explains, "The only downsides of the Oozaru form are just what Vegeta-san described a few moments ago, becoming a bigger target and losing agility because of the bigger size and mass. On top of that, it is also very draining physically." before he smiles and proudly continues, "At that point, I realized that the only way to make the Oozaru transformation viable was to compress it back to human size. It wasn't that difficult as it seemed that I only needed to will it and with it. I discovered a new transformation." 

At this point, his Ki spikes tremendously to the point that it even causes the whole planet we are using to shake as he lets out an animalistic roar, and the next moment, he unleashes a blinding golden aura that forces us to close our eyes for an instant.

When everyone opens their eyes, what greets us is the sight of a completely changed Son Goza which makes Patamon mutter in awe, "Here is it... The coolest Saiyan Transformation...! The Super Saiyan 4!! GO MONKE GOZA!!"

In this form, Son Goza's hair color is still his original black but it grew and became wilder identically to Goku's and Vegeta's when they went through the same transformation, he also has his bangs back.

A red fur appears covering the upper part of his body and the same goes for his tail, on top of that he also possesses a shadow trim around his eyes and over the eyelids of a crimson color. 

More importantly, he also retains the increased size of his Legendary Super Saiyan Transformation which gives him an even more imposing appearance and aura.

While everyone looks at the new form of Goza with shock and awe, Goza stares at his father and says, "I decided to name this new form Super Saiyan 4. The reason for this name is that one of the requirements to attain this transformation is that one needs to have at the very least a Super Saiyan 3 level of Ki. The other requirements are that the first time one also needs to have a tail, be bathed in the light of a moon, and be able to transform into a Golden Oozaru which is the name of an Oozaru using the Super Saiyan Transformation. On top of that, one also needs to be able to retain conscious control over their form to will it to compress."

After saying that, Goza spreads his arms wide and declares, "This is the perfect form that makes full use of our Saiyan heritage. This form gives the user the super strength and speed of a Great Ape in a humanoid size but with a calm, clever mind. But just like the other Saiyan transformation it still does affect our mentality a little making the user very cold, arrogant, and aggressive."
