On Ontube, there’s a function called membership separate from channel subscriptions.
To put it simply, it’s where viewers become monthly supporters of a specific channel by donating a set amount.
You could think of it as just wasting money, but joining a VTuber’s membership comes with its own benefits for viewers.
For example, you might be able to see membership-only community posts or receive a badge proving you’re a member.
And among those, the most important is what I’m about to do in the membership-limited broadcast, short for “Mengen” (メン限).
As the name suggests, it’s a broadcast only viewable by those who have joined the membership.
In a mengen, you usually discuss things you can’t talk about in regular broadcasts or show what you’re practicing.
For instance, the mengen talk broadcast Natsune did on February 23 was legendary….
Well, anyway, it’s a variety show.
And today, what I’m doing in the membership-limited broadcast is…
