AZI: The History Shattering Burial of a Selfish Lunatic, Who Walked through Reincarnation for Two-Trillion Years

AZI Volume 5 Chapter 7

Throughout all this commotion, the sun had set half an hour ago.

“…”

Keeping her arms folded beneath her chest, Mo-laoban sweeps her eyes across the sight in front of her, and towards the peanut gallery, she clicks her tongue, and shouts—

“The hell you all looking at, huh? You want me to invite you all to stay for dinner or something? The restaurant is closed for the rest of today! Now, get out!”

Towards Mo-laoban’s harsh words, Nuo’er thought—

(Didn’t elder sister ask—why would the proprietress chase her own customers out? She’s doing it right now…)

Despite being curious about the weapon Long Hua had used to shatter Zhang Yong’s Relic with, no one was brave enough to stick around—seeing how fierce the proprietress was.

“Take it.”

“Hm?”

Receiving a folded set of red clothes from Mo-laoban, Long Hua raises an eye.

“You, come here.”

Being pointed to by Mo-laoban, a male worker comes over immediately, and asks—

“Your orders, boss?”

“Guide him to one of the guest rooms on the fifth floor.”

“Understood. Surnamed Long, please.”

“…?”

Being called surnamed Long even at a time like this causes Long Hua to turn somewhat speechless.

Walking over, Tian Cheng says—

“Master, being stained in someone else’s blood isn’t good for dinner. Even if you don’t mind it, think of the others who must share a table with you.”

“…I guess?”

Following the male worker, Long Hua is quickly guided into a guest room on the fifth floor.

“Then, I shall leave you to it.”

Closing the sliding door, the worker leaves.

The guest room is made up of a king-sized bed to the left side upon entry. On the opposite side of the bed is a sofa and table.

Four lights are embedded into the room’s ceiling—with the back of the room having a square-shaped window with a red grill.

Beside the sofa is a door that leads into the bathroom, which consists of a sink, toilet, and tub.

Hearing the sound of running water, Long Hua thought—

(I could just use dirt removal magic, but since the tub is already half-way filled, I might as well use it.)

………

“…”

With his hair cleansed, Long Hua sits inside of the bathtub with his legs straightened.

(Was I being too rash in beating that guy?)

Asking himself this question, Long Hua heaves a sigh, as he touches what should be his own face.

“…”

Akin to the pages of a book being flipped through, memories from times unknown flash across Long Hua’s mind.

Contained in these memories are two individuals surrounded by trees and greenery.

One individual is shrouded in white fog, while the other is a boy with black hair and dark eyes. The face of the boy, who is lying on the ground, and is bleeding out—

(“Long Hua,” is it?)

Narrowing his eyes, Long Hua turns his attention to the figure shrouded within the white fog.

(Is that…? Me? If so, why did I come to this world for?)

Continuing to contemplate in silence, Long Hua eventually recalls—

(You shall wander through reincarnation. You shall struggle within reincarnation. You shall live through numerous lives within reincarnation. You shall die numerous deaths within reincarnation. You shall…-)

Shaking his head, Long Hua stops here. Someone had said these words to him, but it wasn’t his shizun.

(This body isn’t mine. I’m merely borrowing it to live in this world for a reason that I cannot remember.)

Closing his eyes, Long Hua thinks deeply about the reason he had arrived in this world.

(Is it related to that unpleasant bastard? ……………Un? I see. So that’s how it is then?)

Raising his arms and stretching, Long Hua tilts his head left and right—seemingly having cleared the fog on his mind.

(Might take a while to get use to this gimmick.)

Heaving a sigh, Long Hua asks—

“Qie, how many pulls is the sight of my birthday suit worth to you?”

(Who the hell wants that?!)

Raising a smile towards the Tai Xuan Emperor’s response, Long Hua thought—

(Ai, the black pots of this body’s previous owner—not something that I would want to carry, since I’m completely unrelated to them. Would be ideal if me giving that surnamed Zhang a beating could serve to cut me off from the original owner completely.)

………

In far back of the restaurant’s fifth floor is an open-air area.

Situated here is a large wooden table with a glossy red finish.

Due to it being nighttime, the cityscape—that can be seen on the side, is illuminated by a vast array of lights.

“Ah, today is truly a good day.”

Already Bai Wen, Nuo’er, Tian Cheng, and the two Zhen siblings have seated themselves around the large table.

In response to Bai Wen’s remark, Zhen Qing Huai replies—

“Why do I feel like it hasn’t quite ended yet?”

“At this point, I don’t think there could be anything more though?”

“…”

Walking over to the table, Long Hua, who is dressed in a red changpao decorated with patterns of golden clouds and dragons, says—

“I think I’ve had just about enough of today.”

Seating himself to the left side of Tian Cheng, Long Hua stares down at his current attire with a subtle frown.

There’s nothing uncomfortable about these clothes. In fact, they are the sort of clothes that he is most used to wearing; however—

(This color combination is a bit… Uh?)
