Chapter 256: The Queens's Skills
Azrak's stats were not far behind an A-rank. In fact, this massive Fallen beast could now be considered a Half Step A Rank.
"Who would've thought that turning into a Fallen beast could help those two this much?" Daniel laughed.
Honestly, if Pride and Azrak hadn't become Corruption beasts, at best, Pride would've reached B-rank, and Azrak would've been mid-B rank.
But now? Both of them were at the peak of B-rank, and one of them could even be considered a Half Step A Rank.
Fate truly is a strange thing...
After that, he checked Azrak's skills. Unfortunately, they weren't as good as he had hoped, and he felt a bit disappointed.
There were a few new skills, but nothing that really caught his attention.
Well—there was one. It barely qualified as "decent," but it was something he actually needed.
[Death Roar (A)]: A mental attack that disrupts the target's ability to think and analyze for a certain duration. The duration depends on the target's strength.
He had been looking for a mental attack skill for a while, and here it was. Among all of Azrak's abilities, this one was the best for him.
Such a skill could be extremely useful in critical moments—especially against enemies stronger than him.
In addition, he might be able to use this skill for some research—to see if he could somehow combine it with Enchanter of Hearts and create a stronger ability.
He had high hopes for Enchanter of Hearts and a lot of plans for it. If there was any way to make it even stronger, it would be a huge win.
Without hesitation, he copied it.

"Just two more left," Daniel muttered to himself and then moved on to his first A-rank Fallen—a Noble Demon named Velmiran.
The moment he opened his panel, the first thing that caught his eye was his insane stats:
Physical Power: 231,900
Spiritual Power: 420,901
Intelligence: 400
Mana: 870,660
Endurance: 631,690
The stats were so overwhelming he didn't even know how to interpret them.
This made one thing clear: S-rank Awakeneds must have seven-digit stats—and national-level or demigod-level beings might even have eight or nine digits.
In addition, his rank was listed as Fallen Overlord, a level above Fallen Venerable.
Then, controlling his excitement, Daniel reviewed Velmiran's skills one by one. As expected, they were extremely impressive.
Still, he chose two of the best:
[Burning the Bloodline (SS)]: By burning your own bloodline, you can temporarily boost your rank and power. The stronger your bloodline, the greater the increase.
[Eternal Boiling Blood (S)]: By boiling your blood, you release a massive surge of power, boosting your overall strength and enhancing your endurance and demonic energy.
He was already familiar with both, since Velmiran had used them against him during their fight.
Even so, after another look, he dismissed the second one and focused on the first.
This skill was extremely risky, but in his current situation, it could be a lifesaver. He was facing an S-rank opponent, and anything that could help was more than welcome.
Even though the skill was basically suicidal, it might still give him the edge he needed—if he couldn't find another way.
He let out a sigh and copied it.

After that, Daniel moved on to the last one—the bizarre queen of those Corruption beasts.
Another A-rank.
He opened her panel, and just as expected, her stats were equally impressive—actually, even higher than Velmiran's.
That made him pause. He had defeated the queen without using any skills, yet he had to go all out to kill Velmiran.
Both were A-rank, but this one was technically stronger. After all, she was a Corruption beast.
Then again, thinking about it more carefully—it made sense. Velmiran's true rank was only initial A-rank. Back when Daniel was still peak C-rank and fought him, he naturally had the upper hand.
At that time, his combat ability was limited to peak B-rank, and he couldn't surpass it. And clearly, the gap between B-rank and A-rank was huge.
However, after Velmiran used his first transformation, he jumped to mid A-rank, which made the fight extremely difficult for Daniel.
Daniel had to use his Transcendence skill, and even then, his combat ability only reached A-rank. There was no way he could match a mid A-rank opponent.
He nearly died in that fight. But in that moment of desperation, he broke through to B-rank. That power jump, combined with his Transcendence, let him reach mid A-rank in combat power, which finally allowed him to start turning the tide—and even suppress Velmiran.
This meant that his raw combat ability, without relying on any active skills, was now equivalent to A-rank. And with Transcendence, he could reach mid A-rank.
Then Velmiran used Burning the Bloodline, and his power spiked to peak A-rank, turning the tide back in his favor and pushing Daniel down again.
But in the end, Daniel used Fallen Will and killed that demon in one strike.
To sum it up—Daniel's current combat strength, without using any skill boosts, was equal to A-rank.
Then, his gaze dropped to the queen's rank. As expected, she too was a Fallen Overlord.
Next, he checked Zaraxis's skills. Just as expected from the mother of an entire species, she had a huge number of skills.
And not just in quantity—she had a variety of them, which was even more surprising.
It's important to understand: having a wide range of skill types isn't easy. Some skills require a specific class to even use them.
For example, healing skills usually require a Healer class. Sometimes, Awakeneds who aren't Healers might get a healing skill, but that's extremely rare.
Daniel himself is one of those exceptions—and his healing skill is quite unique.
Another example is support skills. Those are typically only found in people who have a Support-type profession.
Well—except for him. He's a complete anomaly, so he doesn't count.
And yet Zaraxis had nearly every type of skill—just like Daniel. That alone was astonishing.
Still, among all those, only three caught his attention: Weave Of Corruption, Mother Crown, Meteors Of Corruption
