Attack On Demons

Zohn waved his fingers and the yellow energy began to brighten up once again. It was going to be but a matter before the magic would be over. He continued to wave his hands instinctively.

Then his mind drifted back to their encounter. When Marie got killed. He had seen it. He had seen the killer but was unsure whether he remembered so. It was somewhat crazy but his mind seemed to skip a few details of the scenario. He struggled to remember what exactly happened but all that proved abortive.

Then he felt Marie smiling at him. A wave and flush of guilt swept over him. He was completely taken aback. He knew he had done nothing to save her. He was a coward. He had failed to protect the one person he loved and all he felt he could do now was to transfer her memories. Such a bitch, he was.

Tears hung in his eyes as he remembered how he had failed to protect the last four Hunters of the Tokyo Hunters Guild. He had watched them die helplessly. They had only died for their fellow Hunters while he was on the run. Damn!!

He had done nothing to avenge either their death or Marie's. He was a complete fool and coward and deserved death and not mercy. He sniffed a little and wiped away his tears.

"All that is going to end!! I'm gonna rip the soul of that demon!!" he exclaimed as he walked over to Marie.

He curled his hands around her face and kissed her warm mouth. He had always wanted to do this but doing it while she was dead made him feel even more guilty and a coward than he had ever thought himself to be.

He kissed her passionately even though there was little life in her. All he wanted was to feel her warm mouth beneath his and know that he one day kissed his lover.

Then he removed his lips from her mouth and his eyes searched for an opening to begin the enchantment. That was when he saw a sharp scar across her stomach. Her blood was dripping. He immediately placed his mouth over her wound and he began to suck in her blood together with her memories.

He was beginning to gather up her memories. A flush of events hit his head and he felt an imbalance with his brain. A brain which tried to contain memories of two different beings. The imbalance of two different genders adding up together as one.

A sharp pain razor's through his head and he collapsed on the ground. Marie's body sundered against the ground and Zohn collapsed on her body. His head was throbbing in pain. Her memories seemed too large for someone of her age or it seemed too big to be compacted together in his own brain due to his own age.

He looked beside him to see Aaron crashing down om his feet. His body was bruised and it seemed like the ninja was overpowering him.

"I'm real hell sure you've gotten the damn memories!! Now help me ward off this threat. He's a bit stronger than I expected." Aaron said as pain razor's through him. His face was bloodied.

Then Zohn's memories clashed with Marie's memories. A great surge of confusion flushed over him and different scenes began to play in his head. From when Marie proclaimed her undying love to Aaron to when she kissed Aaron on his cheek. Much more irritating was her constant dreams of him. Damn!!!

After his love for her, she ended up wanting another man?! She never mentioned that she didn't love him or that she loved Aaron. What the hell was all this?! Just when he thought he had found love, it seemed to die with her. And then he persevered to get her memories and now this!! Bloody hell, this was disheartening. He clenched his heart in pain as his eyes met Aaron's eyes.

Anger stirred up within him and he bolted to his feet. His right hand flickered with yellow flames and he waved it to strike against Aaron. The energy came by surprise and so Aaron was taken aback and unaware. He crashed against the ground and bruises him even further.

Zohn walked forward, his eyes glinting in pure anger and hatred. He then picked up Marie's sword. It glinted with the rays of the sun. In a sharp contrast movement, he dashed forward striking Aaron.

Aaron noticing his movement fast enough, back flipped away. He landed few meters away from where Zohn stood with the sword stuck in between the holds of the grid. Aaron stared at him shocked and confused at his sudden wildness.

"What's the matter Zohn? We all have to take it easy don't we? Now let's reason out your case step by step." Aaron said slowly but Zohn clenched his sword tightly.

"Look!! You better stop this madness. A deadly ninja us about to take the bodies of our loved ones. If we do nothing we might end up loosing them to him." Aaron said as he moved backwards watching Zohn's movements.

"Really? Our loved ones? Or you should have said 'Your loved one'. You bastard!! You caused me more misery than I ever expected!!" Zohn thundered and dived forward.

His sword clashed relentlessly against Aaron's sword. Their blade screetched loudly until they parted away. But they clashed against each other again and this time more relentlessly. It flickered light flames.

Zohn pushed forward but Aaron countered his attack and with sword, he shoved him to the left side and kicked him on the ear.

The impact was resounding and every bone and muscle around Zohn's ear felt the power of that single strike. He staggered for a moment and blood spouted from his mouth. A flush of weakness waved over him and he fell on his knees in pain.

Aaron stared at him. His eyes washing over his to notice anything strange on him. He wondered why he had suddenly become violent. He had become his old self– criminal mind. That would be deadly as his brutal state of mind made him more than a threat. Then he remembered that he had taken in the memories of Marie.

"Whatever you are thinking isn't what it is. I give my word on this." Aaron said sharply. "Let's stop thar ninja. We may lose her to him."

Zohn stared at him and a new found anger boiled up in him. He dashed forward to strike Aaron but Aaron's left leg came from no where, striking his face and pushing him to the ground.

THUD!!!!

Then Zohn felt blood dripping on the floor. He touched his mouth. He was sure his wound had stopped dripping long. He wondered what happened. Then he turned

Attached to Aaron's leg, a sharp pen knife was glinting in the rays. Zohn stared in shock. His leg came down on his head. Blood splashed over. Zohn fell over on the ground.

"What the..." Zohn muttered as Aaron's leg came down to the ground. His eyes sparked with nothing but pain. Zohn stared at him in shock. Then he heard the last words he could hear.

"I'm so sorry Zohn. But you are too violent to be kept alive. It seems like it is up to me to save your lover, Marie."

Tears rolled down Zohn eyes as he could only phantom his fate. Then his eyelids closed sharply.

"Ahhh!!!!"
