Ashen Dragon

Chapter 196 Gush!_2

Such giant dragons possessing immense strength yet defying the divine—Gush had seen far too many of them throughout the endless ages. They often met their demise in insanity—and He was certain Cassius Klaubow Norixius would be the next.

Accompanied by Gush's wrath, crimson winds swept across the land, engulfing everything within dozens of miles around Him like raging tides. These winds carried an essence of chaos, frenzy, and wickedness.

When mortals caught sight of that crimson glow from afar, a boundless terror arose within their hearts. Should they be drawn into it, they would faint immediately. Weak-minded creatures like rabbits and moles could even die outright from fright.

Should one find themselves at the heart of the domain and gaze directly into the eyes of Gush's incarnation, even the most resolute Legendary Monks would tremble uncontrollably, collapsing to their knees under the crushing pressure.

What of mortals?

They would likely be overwhelmed by the aura of chaos, wickedness, hatred, and warfare from His Divine Power before even approaching, rendered mad on the spot—or their skulls might explode outright.

Gush frowned deeply, his face contorted with fury as he stared at those orcish remains. He raised his spear and pointed its bloodstained tip skyward.

Then, His lips moved, and from the depths of His throat emerged an ancient, guttural, and venomous utterance in Orcish—"An orc shall never truly die until its enemy is slain."

No sooner had the words fallen than the wandering spirits lingering in the air descended, seeking out their former bodies.

Under the spell of the Beastman God, a black fog materialized out of thin air, spreading across the land. The lingering Beastman Spores began to coalesce, gradually restoring the orcish remains to life.

Yet even so, those caught in the explosion's epicenter could not be resurrected; they had been utterly obliterated by that horrific blast, reduced to molecules in the air, leaving not a single trace behind.

Even with Gush's intervention, fewer than twenty percent of the orcs survived. Altogether, they numbered only in the tens of thousands.

"Father God..."

"Those damned Imperial People..."

"I'll kill them, kill them all..."

Amid murmurs of resentment and venomous hatred, tens of thousands of orcs began picking up their weapons, slowly and laboriously climbing to their feet. Their bodies were now riddled with grotesque, charred wounds.

These orcs had already perished in that harrowing explosion, yet under Gush's Divine Power, they had been resurrected! Within the domain of the Beastman God, they now stood even taller, stronger, and more fearless than they had been in life!

Gush pointed his Blood Spear toward the South: "My warriors, rise again, and exact revenge upon the Ashen Empire! Slay their people to the very last!"

In an instant, the wasteland erupted into chaos once more. The resurrected orcs roared in frenzied celebration, bellowing as they surged relentlessly toward the South.

"Boom!"

Gush gripped His spear and, with a single step, crossed tens of thousands of meters. The space surrounding Him shattered and twisted, and His crimson domain shifted in sync with His stride—a veritable mobile Scourge.

Within just a few steps, He had led the resurrected Beastman Army over hundreds of miles, arriving north of the Blackstone Mountain Range, back at the battlefield strewn with craters and remnants of war.

Meanwhile, at the Aivendel Fortress—or rather, the Flying Dragon City—officers and soldiers of the Empire gazed in wide-eyed horror at the crimson domain surging toward them, sprawling across the horizon like an unstoppable tide.

"Look quickly!"

"What... what is that?"

"Orcs... Impossible! We nearly wiped the orcs out! How can there be so many left?!"

"Damn it! Wha—What an overwhelming presence; it feels eerily like His Majesty Cassius has arrived! Who... who could it possibly be?"

Under the oppressive aura of Gush, even the most loyal and courageous Imperial Warriors could not resist trembling, their hearts seized with primal fear—a terror sparked instinctively by a higher being.

Atop the tower, the sound of a "snap!" rang aloud as Derol's binoculars slipped from his grasp and crashed to the ground, its crystal-clear lenses shattering instantly.

The Earth Goblin General fell hard to the floor, his body trembling violently. Blood poured from his tightly shut eyes, while a storm of emotions—fear, fury, hatred—raged across his expression.

The moment he glimpsed the One-eyed Beastman from afar, an overwhelming fear and hatred surged forth in Derol's heart, as if a sharp, pointed blade was stabbing into his eyes.

After all, the Beastman God System and the Earth Spirit System had been locked in conflict for tens of thousands of years. Fear and loathing for Gush were deeply engraved into the souls of every Earth Goblin and related beings.

His towering figure, pitch-black armor, bloodstained spear, and most distinctively—his single eye.

In that instant, Derol recognized the identity of the orc and was overcome with frantic terror and worry.

Hearing the commotion in the tower, the Earth Goblin Guards stationed at the door rushed in with their weapons held high, their voices filled with urgency: "Lord Derol, what has happened?"

Wiping away the blood streaming from the corners of his eyes, Derol steadied himself and spoke in a low, commanding tone: "Go. Inform Lady Misha immediately. Tell her to contact His Majesty and make absolutely clear—The Beastman God has descended upon the world!"

"Yes, my lord!"

At these words, the Earth Goblin Guards were struck with shock and a surge of dread. They hastily nodded in acknowledgment and sprinted toward Misha's quarters like the wind.

By this time, Lady Misha had already sensed the descent of the Divine being. She had begun a fervent prayer to her master, the Emperor of the Ashen Empire—Cassius. Her golden eyes were filled with concern.

With hands clasped and eyes closed in solemn devotion, she whispered her plea: "O Master of the Ashen Empire, Monarch of Thunder and Flame, my supreme and exalted Lord..."
