Ascension of the Monster Queen

As she blocked the person's attack, everyone stared from below in shock and the stranger in the hood who had approached the demon, stopped in his tracks and his eyes widened as he looked up and the demon's eyes narrowed at his reaction, all while wondering who it was that tried to attack Nessa and her blocking their attack made everyone so surprised.

He kept his gaze fixed on both the stranger as well as Nessa, who was easily holding her own against whoever it was that tried to attack her, he was quite cautious since everything around them screamed danger as well.

"Now, now, that is quite a rude way to welcome guests, don't you think?" Nessa asked the person as she disappeared then reappeared behind the person, punching them across the air, with her fist surrounded by small lightning bolts, which she used as a charge attack.

The person coughed as the other they were fighting earlier, caught them, blocking their fall and Nessa's eyes narrowed as she looked at them, while everyone was looking with bathed breaths from below, completely shocked at what was happening right before their eyes and they were curious to see what would happen next.

"Who are you?" The person she punched asked as they straightened up and she tilted her head, when she saw it was a girl and she approached them.

"I am just a visitor, I came here with a purpose, not to cause trouble yet without knowing that you tried to what? Kill me?" She asked and the girl looked at her with piercing red and black eyes, her long red hair in a high pony and she was wearing pants and a crop top, she looked like a fighter as well, battle-trained, since she was just as fit.

The one beside her was a guy, dressed in a silk and royal robe, with one single horn by the side of his head, he had blonde hair and green eyes.

"A visitor huh? You say you mean no trouble, yet you managed to block my attack... No one other than those in my league or those who could match my combat prowess were ever able to do that, or those above that...." She said with a snarky tone and Nessa's eyes narrowed, she realized that this person was someone important within the nation, which explained the shocked faces of the people below them

"No normal visitor would ever be able to do that... Who are you?" The guy near her asked and Nessa chuckled.

'It was self-defense, you were about to attack me for no reason at all, I did not even do anything, so that was really uncalled for, especially since I am a stranger and you know nothing about me, I am combat trained, you didn't expect me to let you hit me , for no reason at all, did you?" She asked with a smirk and the girl's brows twitched in irritation at her tone and she huffed as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Well, I suppose, you are right, I acted without thinking since you were literally walking in air, only those with great prowess can do that, or good ones at least, I... I got suspicious... Still... Uh... Sorry, I guess," She said in a soft almost reluctant tone.

The guy beside her stared at her with wide eyes, completely in disbelief, since it was clear she was not a person who would often apologize for her actions, it was quite obvious in Nessa's eyes that the girl was not used to admitting her mistakes, the situation almost seemed to amuse Nessa.

The demon who was paying close attention chuckled then the hooded stranger glanced at him, he was curious about Nessa and the demon now, wondering who the strangers were and why they were there.

"My lady... " The guy beside her mumbled and she averted her gaze and he stifled a laughter, which she saw and a vein popped up on her forehead in irritation.

"Is something funny, Lev?" She asked and Lev forced a stoic face and shook his head no as he looked at her and her eyes narrowed then she scoffed and turned away from him, returning her attention once again, to Nessa, whom she found quite interesting.

"So, who are you, really?" She asked.

"Me? My name is Nessa... I am his assistant," She responded as she pointed down to the demon, who raised his brows since she seemed to be using him as cover again.

She was using that to her advantage of people keeping their guard down around her, so she could see what they try to keep hidden from others, those who were important and had status, it was something that helped her decide which course of action to take.

"Ah, so he is your master, you seem like a strong warrior for a girl younger," She said and Nessa smiled a little at her words.

"That is high coming from her, you might as well take it... She has a pride stretching very far... Its quite rare to get a compliment from her, consider yourself among a fated few," Lev whispered over to Nessa.

She chuckled and the girl's eyes twitched as she looked back at him, with a sound like a growl, almost escaping her lips and Nessa raised her brows in surprise at that and Lev moved back a few feet, away from her with a snicker.

"Well, this is getting us nowhere, my name is Agra, meaning fierce, nice to meet you since you are obviously new here and I sort of misunderstood you, you said you came here with a purpose, can you tell me what that purpose is?" She asked as Nessa looked at her, then glanced down at the demon, who was waiting and watching patiently, alongside the hooded stranger.

"Nice to meet you as well, as for the purpose of us coming here, it is for something quite important, something that needs immediate attention as well," She responded, as the people went back to minding their own business, though still curious.

"And what would that be?" Agra asked.

"I am here to meet the demon lord," She responded.

Upon hearing that, Lev froze and Agra left staring at her as her eyes narrowed slightly and even the hooded stranger looked surprised, as they stared at Nessa.
