Ascension of the Monster Queen

The demon lord's brows furrowed as he thought about everything they told him and he tapped his fingers on the arm rests of his throne, knowing that whatever was happening was something bigger than they could imagine and would have an effect on every kingdom, every nation if they do not take care of it, before something that there is no going back from happens and the chances for that, was now higher than it ever was before.

His eyes narrowed as he thought about everything that had happened so far and he thought about the way the Nessa stood beside, whom he taught was the leader of Stymir and he scoffed, before exhaling deeply, knowing the upcoming days were not going to be so boring and he was looking forward to it.

He called on his right-hand man, Zavirc and told him to gather the necessary information, the ones that would be needed in order to help Nessa and the demon and he told him to dig deeper, to see what more he could find about the organization and what they were currently up to.

Zavirc bowed his head in respect to the demon lord and left to go carry out his duties, determined to find out as much as he could, no matter what, since he overheard the conversation and did not want any risks to come to the ones whom he considered important in his life.

The demon lord got up from his throne and left the throne room to go call it a night since he had to rest and there was a lot of work to be done, starting from the next day and things were going to get heated, he knew it would now draw the attention of the other demon lords but also knew it was about time they got involved since everyone was at risk and there could even be a possible traitor among them.

Later that night, after Nessa settled into her room, since she was tired and had not gotten a proper rest in a while, she exhaled deeply and yawned before getting into her bed and she looked up at the ceiling, while thinking about everything that had happened so far and knew it was only going to get worse and more dangerous and she had to push herself to become more than she was at the time, in order to put a stop to it all.

While she was thinking, she fell asleep and a little while after, the demon appeared beside her and he glanced down at her, before fixing her blanket over her and sitting at the side of her bed, looking at her and his eyes narrowed as he moved a strand of her from in front of her face.

He looked at how peaceful she seemed in her sleep and knew that it was not something that was going to last long, since he knew more than she thought, there was more to him than met the eyes, just as she had predicted before, but could also sense that he was genuine towards her.

"I am not who I say I am... But I take it you are already suspecting that, aren't you, Nessa? Despite your suspicions... You are still letting me stay, yes, I may not be who I say I am...

But I mean every word of what I say to you, the only thing I lied about is my identity and purpose, as well as a few other things, but I mean you no harm, this was not supposed to happen, but I will see this through with you, I wonder though, why?" He asked as he looked at her, sleeping form.

He passed his finger at the side of her face, before tilting his head and pulling back his hand from her and sighing, looking up at the ceiling.

"This will all get a lot more complicated than it needs to be, don't worry, my identity won't stay hidden for long, not with the path you are currently on, soon enough you will find out who I am, and you will also understand my purpose, I hope you will understand, when the time comes at least, Nessa," He said with his brows furrowed before sighing and running his hand through his hair.

He glanced at her one more time before getting up and going to the couch in the room, to sleep, since he wanted to watch over her, in case anything happened, because they were still currently in unknown territory, one filled with many dangerous demons.

After a good night's rest, the next morning, when Nessa woke up, she yawned then stretched off before sitting up on the bed, when her eyes landed on the demon, sleeping on the couch and her brows furrowed as she tilted her head, wondering why he was sleeping there and she scoffed, then got out of the bed and approached him.

"I have a lot of unanswered questions when you are considered, I know you are genuine with many things you say but you better pray not to be one who goes against me in the future, if you are, I won't hold back, demon," She said as she looked down at him, before sighing.

She turned around and went to freshen up, since there were a lot of things that needed to be done and couldn't afford to waste too much time.

'I hear you,' The demon thought, as he opened his eyes, after she went to freshen up then he chuckled a bit, thinking of how much of a handful Nessa was and he did not want to get on her bad side.

While she was freshening up, he returned to his room to freshen up as well, since they had to go and meet the demon lord to continue where they left off the previous night.

A little while after, when they were both finished with their morning routines, they met up in the hallway and went to meet the demon lord, who was waiting for them in the dining hall, alongside Zavirc, since he had news for them, ones that would help them with what they were seeing at the time.
