The airship slowly docked at the newly built air harbor in Bilgewater. Since the advent of the Hextech Gates, traditional transportation industries had suffered a massive blow. While people were still relying on primitive land and sea travel, wasting time on the road, others could simply "whoosh" to their destination or nearby using the Hextech Gates.

The existence of the Hextech Gates was a dimensional downgrade for traditional transportation, and it also plunged many industries reliant on robbery, escort services, extortion, and blackmail into a bleak winter. Fortunately, the Hextech Gates only allowed one-way travel. To return, people still had to rely on traditional transportation methods, which prevented the traditional transportation industry from being completely wiped out.

Even so, the traditional transportation industry had once fallen into a slump, barely recovering. Bilgewater, as a lawless land isolated at sea, relied on industries like animal husbandry (capturing and slaughtering sea beasts), commerce (fencing stolen goods), and services (hotels, brothels). The only other pillar was the transportation industry, which depended on the natural harbor. To squeeze more money out of the wealthy but cowardly Piltovans, the Bilgewater officials went to great lengths to build this air harbor. However, the fees for using the air harbor were prohibitively expensive.

But this wasn't a problem for Link and House Ferros. After all, soon enough, this would be their own property. It was just a matter of moving money from one pocket to another.

"Honestly, you've come at a bad time," said Good Luck Sister, her left eye swollen, as she led the way. Link followed behind her, her slender waist and full hips swaying in a way that kept catching his eye, much to Jinx's annoyance.

"The Harrowing?" Link understood what she meant. Good Luck Sister turned to look at him and said, "Yes, it's not a pleasant sight."

"If I dared to come, it means I'm confident," Link said calmly, his voice brimming with a confidence that left Good Luck Sister stunned.

She didn't know why this young man was so arrogantly confident, to the point of looking down on everything. Good Luck Sister turned away, feeling the sting in her left eye, and suppressed her thoughts. She had already experienced his methods—the helplessness of being controlled, forced to bow and submit. Just thinking about it made her limbs go cold. How could such a terrifying and cruel power exist in the world?

Good Luck Sister couldn't help but wonder. Link quickened his pace and leaned in close to whisper, "Do you think I'm terrifying and cruel?"

Good Luck Sister shuddered, nearly falling to the ground. Luckily, Link grabbed her arm, preventing her from tumbling off the gangplank into the sea. Her face pale, her pupils trembling, and her full red lips quivering, Link held her arms and lifted her up, placing her gently on the dock.

"Watch your step and walk properly," Link said as he walked past her, turning to smile at her. "I like hardworking employees, and I like those with pure intentions."

"So—"

"I know, I'll work hard," Good Luck Sister said, tightening her legs and straightening her back, causing her ample chest to bounce.

"Mm," Link nodded, then turned to survey the dock. Jinx walked past Good Luck Sister, raising an eyebrow at the trembling woman and mimicking Link's tone, "Watch your step, walk properly... hehe—"

The girl skipped along, her ponytail swaying behind her as she caught up with Link. Good Luck Sister felt her legs go weak. How could such a terrifying person exist? As soon as the thought crossed her mind, Link glanced at her as if by accident, making her shiver again.

Get to work—

The thought popped into her head, and she quickly nodded, hurrying to prepare for Link's meeting with Gangplank.

The dock manager recognized Good Luck Sister and approached her, teasing, "Oh, the beautiful Miss Fortune. Did you catch a big fish today?"

The dock manager raised his eyebrows, his eyes roaming over her body. Good Luck Sister cursed hoarsely, "I caught your mother! Get out of my way! If you ruin my plans, I'll stuff a pound of razor eels into your beer belly!"

She stomped on the dock manager's foot, making him cry out in pain as she swayed her hips and walked away. Link glanced at Good Luck Sister's retreating figure and nodded slightly. Fear had been planted. Now, it was time to reward her, to make her completely his tool and laborer.

Turning his attention back to the dock, Link noticed that the layout and architecture were almost identical to Piltover's air harbor. The only difference was the raised patterns of sea beasts on the dock floor—twisting tentacles reaching out from the depths of the ocean, stretching and writhing endlessly.

"I didn't expect to find artists here," Link said, running his boot over the raised stone patterns. Life was never lacking in beauty; it was just that people often failed to notice it.

"To find beauty in a city so wild, brutal, and corrupt, it must be the work of someone truly extraordinary."

"Sir, everything is ready," a spy reported to Link.

Link's gaze shifted from the stone patterns to the waves below the dock. In the churning waves, greasy blood and filth floated on the water's surface, while small, greedy sea creatures devoured the oily residue. Large rats, as big as otters, swam in the water, hunting razor eels. The dock rats of Bilgewater were even more vicious than the plague rats of Zaun. While plague rats needed numbers to attack people, a single dock rat could attack a person on its own. If the person wasn't careful, the rat could bite through their throat and crawl inside, eating them from the inside out.

"Stupid."

Link turned away and walked off, the spy following behind him.

Gangplank had his own dock and harbor, a privilege he enjoyed as the Pirate King of Bilgewater. No one dared to approach this area without permission, and no boat dared to enter these waters.

The massive black warship, like a silent sea beast, lay on the water's surface, unmoved by the waves. The belly of the Leviathan was uniquely designed to amplify the cries and screams of its victims, ensuring that everyone on board could hear them.

Link, standing on the dock, was being searched by Gangplank's crew. Good Luck Sister wasn't spared either. The spy who had brought Link had his weapons confiscated. Link, used to storing everything in his attachments, was merely inspected before being allowed to pass. As for Good Luck Sister, she had to shout a few times to keep the crew's wandering hands off her. Of course, her pair of guns were also taken away.

After the initial inspection, Link and Good Luck Sister were led to the captain's quarters. Walking through the dark, enclosed corridors of the ship, Link could sense Good Luck Sister's unease—her emotions were like turbulent waves, a storm brewing within her.

Link passed by a window and looked out at the dark, oppressive sky. "A storm is coming—"

"Hey, whether it's a storm or a tsunami, nothing can shake our captain's ship!" The sailor behind Link sneered. Link turned back and said, "We'll see."

Finally, they reached the captain's quarters. Gangplank, blood-soaked and imposing, greeted them in his own sinister way. But Link had his own plans.

"Pride, stop time."
