Apocalypse: Transmigrated General’s Daughter Uses Space to Survive

The following morning, the entire family met in the dining room for breakfast, and everyone seemed to be in high spirits.

"Bunny,, whatever pills you gave us are way too effective. The pain I had to endure is unimaginable. And I got to understand what you meant by things will get messy. I can't believe I had so much dirt in my body." Chu Hao was the first to speak as soon as he saw his sister enter the dining room.

She went straight to the chair next to her grandfather and sat down.

"I already told you, but how did it go for everyone?" She couldn't help but ask. For her it was normal, but for the others, it must have been a challenge.

"It was extremely painful. I have never felt so much pain in my life. Not even when I gave birth to you guys. The pain went deep into the bone and bone marrow." Her mother said.

"That's why it's called a marrow cleansing pill; it gets all the dirt and impurities out of the body no matter where, including the bone marrow and blood."

"That's true. I feel so light I could fly." Her father said with a chuckle.

"I feel good too. The healing pill Bunny gave is very good. All the hidden injuries that have troubled me for decades are gone, and your second grandpa took one too. He is also fine. He came to me early in the morning praising you to the heavens."

Everyone laughed when they heard that. Hearing her grandfather's statement, she knew that the butler had agreed to the contract. In that case, he has to be included in the cultivation plan too.

They talked while they were, and once they were done, they dispersed to go do their respective duties. They had less than 28 days to prepare.

Chu Miao went back to her room to change and her mother followed her. When they were inside the bedroom her mother hugged her tightly.

"Am glad you are still with us darling. And I am also glad I can become your mother twice." She sighed as she said that. She knew nothing about the ancient cultivation world, but from what she experienced last night, and Chu Miao's talk about going to the battlefield and killing enemies, she can imagine it is a place where the strong prey on the weak. Fortunately, her daughter had her grandfather's protection, so she didn't get bullied.

"Am okay, mom you don't have to worry. Go get changed so we can go out to the salon to get a haircut and go shopping for clothes. During the apocalypse, long hair may become a hindrance. I also need to talk to grandpa before we leave.*

"Okay, sweetheart, mommy will go get changed."

Saying that she left and closed the door behind her.

After her mother had left, Chu Miao took a quick shower, got dressed in comfortable sportswear, and headed to her grandfather's study. She knew that her grandfather didn't have to leave the house to get the things he needed to stockpile, all it took was a phone call.

She knocked on the door and heard an old but energetic voice telling her to come in. After walking in, she found that the butler was present as well; as they no longer needed to hide this from him, it was understandable that he was assisting her grandfather.

"Grandpa, second grandpa I brought you guys the marrow cleansing pills. Once you are done with your work, go back to your room and take it. And remember to do it in the bathtub and don't lose consciousness no matter how painful."

The butler chuckled upon hearing that. "Little Bunny, your grandfather and I have endured more painful situations. We won't be defeated by an hour of pain. So, don't worry about it."

"Okay." She replied as she produced a jade bottle with two pills inside and handed them to the butler.

Her grandfather turned towards her after sending an email with the information compiled by her brother warning the government.

"Bunny, where are you going?"

"Mother and I are going shopping. We have to buy clothes of all seasons and purchase those that can withstand extreme heat and extreme cold. Most of our family's clothes are fashionable but not practical. We need to stock up on those that allow us to move inhibited. You can't possibly fight in a suit can you?"

"That's indeed a good suggestion. We won't the going be going to business meetings, but fighting. You can also consider buying combat gear then."

"Okay grandpa, I have to go. Oh.. I forgot about medicine. Even though we have a sizable stock of pills from the ancient era, some diseases can only be eradicated using modern medicine, so remind dad to get his friend uncle Yu to help in acquiring large quantities of all types of medicines and first aid kits."

"Got it. Okay off you go."

"The little Bunny has matured a lot after the accident." The butler commented.

"Going through what she had, anyone would mature, but I wish she didn't have to but with what's coming, I guess a little maturity is good. Here, go take this pill, and then we can cultivate with the others when the time comes. We don't want to become a pair of fossils burdening them and dragging them down." Grandpa Chu said as he gave one of the pills to his friend whom he considered family.

*Okay, I will see you later old man." The butler took the pill and left the study, and grandpa Chu followed right after and went back to his room.

On the other side, Chu Miao had just gotten to the living room when her mother walked down the stairs. She was dressed very simply today. It was the first time she saw her mother wear a sports suit when leaving the house.

"Are you sure you want to go out like that, mom?" She had to ask. Her mother was a fashionable woman and wouldn't leave the house looking unpresentable.

"We'll be wearing these every day soon. Might as well get used to it and get comfortable early." Indeed, that is exactly what she thought. She was an orphan, and when she was young, she envied other children who had parents to dress them up. She got interested in fashion and even though she never became a designer, she knows more about fashion and clothes than many designers out there.
