Apocalypse Cheater

Chapter 262: A New Dawn for Earth

[: 3rd POV :]

In the aftermath of a cataclysmic battle, the skies above were still, and the ground trembled slightly as the System's voice echoed throughout the planet.

[: Congratulations, the Planet Earth has met the requirement for evolution :]

Daniel, weary but triumphant, wiped the sweat from his brow, glancing at the shattered remains of the Apocalyptical Monsters he had defeated.

He had fulfilled the task the System had set.

A sense of relief washed over him, but it was mingled with uncertainty about what lay ahead.

Across the globe, notifications chimed into existence, igniting a firestorm of reactions among humanity.

"What does this even mean?*" a young woman gasped, her eyes wide with both fear and curiosity.

"Is it really over?" muttered an old man nearby, pondering the fate of the world with a frown etched onto his weathered face.

In a crowded land, a group of friends, their hearts pounding in rhythm, exchanged fearful glances.

"What's going to happen from now on?" one of them asked, his voice trembling.

The others could only shake their heads, an unvoiced dread hanging thick in the air.

[: Evolution will begin in 3… 2… 1 :]

All of the sudden, a collective breath was held across the world.

Every heart raced as they stared at the skies, waiting for the unknown to unfold.

Suddenly, the Earth stirred as if awakening from a long slumber.

An ethereal glow emanated from the core, radiating life force and energy.

It was as though the very essence of the planet was reforming—a grand rebirth.

"Look at that!" Shouted a child, pointing at the spectacle above.

"It's beautiful!"

Yet, far away, in a small village, a mother clutched her child tightly, whispering, "Stay close to me. We don't know what will happen next"

As the evolution commenced, every organism on Earth transformed.

Flowers opened their petals brightly, trees unfurled their branches, and animals began to shift, their forms growing larger and more formidable.

They were no longer simply beasts or monsters; they had evolved into intelligent beings, possessing both primal power and conscious thought.

"What just happened?!" A man gasped, observing a nearby wolf morphing into a towering creature with fierce, intelligent eyes.

"This power… it feels intoxicating!" a newly evolved bear rumbled, astonished by its own strength.

"Are we safe?" a frightened woman interjected, sensing the unsettling atmosphere that had replaced their once predictable environment.

Above, invisible to most, a new essence—a palpable aura—permeated the air, filling it with life.

Each breath of the Earth released this purer mana, invigorating the beings that inhabited it.

[: Congratulations, Earth has undergone evolution and has become a low-tier ranked Planet :].

[: Every single being on Earth will now able to access to One Function, Realm Visit :]

[: Realm Visit will only able to visit to other low tier planet :]

[: Since Planet Earth has evolved, the Planet is eligible for Survival Mode :]

[: Survival Mode: In an unknown time, 2 planets will be chosen to battle and if one of the planet lose, it will be absorb by the other planet and all living beings would be slaved :]

[: Since Planet Earth has completed the Main Quest, the next 2nd Main Quest will begin in between 6 months or a Year :]

[: As Planet Earth has completed the Main Quest, each individual will be given according to their contribution:]

Mixed emotions rippled through the crowd, pride, fear, and anticipation

"A low-tier planet? What does that even mean for us?" A teenager worried aloud, her voice barely breaking through the growing tension.

"It means we can finally explore!" An excited delusional young man exclaimed, his own heart racing with excitement.

"Realm Visit! We can see other worlds!"

But then the dark undertones of the announcement settled in.

A chilling silence descended. A man shouted in anger, "What do you mean survival mode? Are we going to be hunted?"

"Two planets will battle?" a woman murmured, tears glistening in her eyes. "And if we lose… we could be enslaved?"

Daniel stood tall, a determined look dawning on his face.

"So...the Survival Mode finally appeared...I never expected it to be this early..." He muttered.

As the countdown to their uncertain future ticked away, the System concluded.

[: Calculating Contribution is in progress...:]

"No pressure there" A woman joked nervously, trying to break the tension, a weak smile plastered on her face.

Then the final announcement came.

[: Congratulations, the top contribution will be given to Player Daniel for obtaining 100% contribution :]

Gasps filled the air.

"Did he really?" murmured a bystander, disbelief in her tone.

"There's no way...a single person wipe those monsters...all by himself...?" Another bystander muttered.

Every single human on Earth couldn't grasp and comprehend how a single person could wipe every single monster all by himself.

It was hard to believe or even imagine yet the truth was right in front of their eyes.

There's no denying it and although some still couldn't believe, they had to swallow the truth.

"He's not a human but a divine being!" One of them exclaimed with maniac eyes.

Perhaps the result of Apocalypse had not only affect emotionally but also mentally.

As such, there were those who had become mentally unstable to the point they worshipped Daniel like a god.

[: Participation reward for everyone else :]

After the Apocalypse had ended, the sky and sun had turned normal and now, the whole world is in uproar.

Leaders, Presidents and even those Elites hidden in the back were completely loss in words on how handling the situation.

If Apocalypse was doom to them, then what a out the future?

What about the Survival Mode where they have no idea what's the other planet capable of?

Will they be able to win or will they be the ones who would be a slave?

That's a question where they could only find out in the future.

Every single human on Earth struggled to grasp how one individual could single-handedly annihilate all the monsters that had wrought havoc across the globe.

It seemed almost impossible, a concept so far-fetched that it felt surreal.

Yet, the evidence was undeniably present before their very eyes.

"How can this be real?" a voice in the crowd trembled, incredulous. "He fought them all... alone?"

A heavy silence fell over the onlookers, punctuated only by the soft rustling of leaves and the acrid scent of smoke lingering in the air.

Faces twisted in disbelief, some shaded with appreciation, others with confusion.

The truth weighed heavily on their hearts, as an unthinkable reality settled in, Daniel had become their savior and, in the eyes of some, their deity.

"He's not a human, but a divine being!" a man shouted, his eyes wide with fervor, sweat gleaming on his brow.

He raised his arms toward the sky as if seeking affirmation from higher powers. "We are in the presence of greatness!"

Around him, murmurs erupted into a cacophony of voices, some echoing their awe, while others simply shook their heads, unable to process the shift.

The mental toll of the Apocalypse and the chaos it bred had left scars deeper than the physical devastation.

Some souls wounded and lost and they began to worship Daniel as if he were a god descending from the heavens.

"We should kneel before him!" another voice chimed in, filled with hysteria. "He saved us! He can save us again!"

While some succumbed to reverence, others reacted differently, wrestling with fear and confusion.

A sudden sob broke through the crowd, echoing the emotional upheaval that gripped the humans—grief, disbelief, and a flickering flame of hope.

In the end, what everyone felt equally was nothing but fear for the unknown.

The fear of whether they could live another day had been buried deep within their souls.

After all, millions had experience death and to be alive again was miracle itself.

As such, those who have tasted death were paranoid.

In the afternath of the Apocalypse, as the sky shifted back to its calm blue and the sun resumed its rightful place, the world was plunged into turmoil.

In office buildings, behind closed doors, leaders and presidents stared blankly at screens displaying images of devastation.

"What do we do now?" asked a politician, their voice small and unsteady, eyes reflecting uncertainty.

"How can we even begin to talk to our people about this?"

Another leader, perched at the edge of their seat, whispered ominously, "If the Apocalypse could already destroy us all, then what about next? Survival Mode…what horrors await us?"

The question hung heavy in the air like a storm cloud ready to unleash its fury.

They had no knowledge of the capabilities of other planets, nor the beings that might harbor sinister intentions.

Would they emerge as victors in this newfound battle, or would their reckoning unfurl in chains, relegating them to a fate worse than death...enslavement?

"We could be at the mercy of something far worse," murmured a military strategist, a tinge of dread creeping into their voice. "Do we even stand a chance?"

Questions swirled, echoing the uncertainty gripping the hearts of humanity.

Would answers lie in the path ahead, or were they storming blindly into a darkened void?

Future battles awaited, and as they stared into the unknown but there's only one truth remained...there's a new Dawn for Earth.
