After hours of intense gameplay, Nagi was ready to dive deeper into the world of Z-Man. This time, he decided to try out Z-Yellow Rai Ninja, intrigued by the character's unique backstory and abilities. As he selected Z-Yellow, the screen transitioned to the character's profile, revealing a tale that was both unexpected and fascinating.

Z-Yellow Rai Ninja: Seikai's Story

The profile began with a brief introduction:

The backstory unfolded in text form, accompanied by dramatic 8-bit visuals:

Seikai was just an ordinary college student with a passion for electronics. One fateful day, his life took a drastic turn when he was kidnapped by a Yokai Rokurokubi, a terrifying creature that sought to devour him. Just as all hope seemed lost, a group of ninjas from the Igaryu Hidden Village appeared. These ninjas were no ordinary warriors—they were Yokai slayers, dedicated to protecting the world from supernatural threats.

One of the ninjas, Sarutobi, revealed a shocking truth: Seikai was the last descendant of the legendary Lightning Shinobi Goro Mikazuchi, a hero of old whose clan had been wiped out by Yokai. Seikai was flabbergasted. "Me? A descendant of a legendary ninja? That's impossible!" he thought.

To prove their claim, the Igaryu ninjas took Seikai to a hidden shrine where the Mugen Mikazuchi Shuriken, a sacred artifact of the Mikazuchi clan, was kept. This shuriken could only be wielded by a true descendant of the Mikazuchi bloodline. When Seikai touched the shuriken, it vanished into his body, reappearing in his hands at will.

The Mugen Mikazuchi Shuriken was no ordinary weapon—it was an infinite shuriken imbued with lightning energy. As long as the user had stamina, they could throw it endlessly. Seikai, who had always been good at throwing darts, quickly realized his natural talent was a result of his ninja heritage.

The Igaryu ninjas trained Seikai, and to everyone's amazement, he became the best shuriken thrower in the village within just two years. He even formed a contract with the Summoned Spirit Beast Goddo Kumado, a powerful bear-like creature.

However, Seikai grew bored of the secluded ninja life. When ZA WARUDO, the global defense organization, approached the Igaryu village for volunteers to join the Z-Man team, Seikai jumped at the opportunity. Becoming a Z-Man meant he could protect the world while enjoying the freedom to explore and have fun.

Nagi couldn't help but laugh at Seikai's story. "Hahaha! This guy went from a normal college student to a lightning ninja? That's so random but awesome!"

Gameplay: Z-Yellow Rai Ninja

Nagi eagerly started playing as Z-Yellow. Unlike the other sentai warriors, Z-Yellow was a ranged fighter, relying on his Mugen Mikazuchi Shuriken to take down enemies from a distance.

Charge Attack: Throws three shurikens in a spread pattern.

Down Attack (Mid-Air): Throws shurikens downward, then teleports to the ground.

1-Orb Hissatsu Waza: Ninpou: Mikazuchi Shuriken Bakudan no Jutsu!—Z-Yellow throws a barrage of lightning shurikens that explode on impact.

2-Orb Chou Hissatsu Waza: Ninpou Ougi: Mugen Mikazuchi Rendan no Jutsu!—Z-Yellow performs hand signs, summoning a storm of shurikens that strike the enemy repeatedly.

Nagi found Z-Yellow to be the easiest character to play so far. His ranged attacks allowed Nagi to keep his distance from enemies, and his lightning-based moves were both flashy and effective. In just 32 minutes, Nagi cleared the game with Z-Yellow, slightly faster than his previous runs with Z-Blue and Z-Green.

"Huh, he's so cool and easy to use!" Nagi said, grinning.

Z-Pink Hana Mask: Momoko Kotegawa

With Z-Yellow's story complete, Nagi turned his attention to the final sentai warrior: Z-Pink Hana Mask. The screen displayed her profile:

Momoko's backstory was equally compelling:

The daughter of Akira Kotegawa, the founder of ZA WARUDO, Momoko was a prodigy who excelled in everything she did. She possessed innate psychic powers, allowing her to create and control psychic energy. Before joining the Z-Man team, she was the leader of the Maskman Squad, an elite sentai team under ZA WARUDO.

Despite her privileged upbringing, Momoko was deeply committed to protecting the world. However, her status as the "Princess of ZA WARUDO" sometimes made her act spoiled. Still, she always prioritized her duty and the safety of the world.

Unlike the other Z-Man members, Momoko had no connection to mystical beings. Instead, her strength came from advanced ZA WARUDO technology. Her mecha, Masky Gyro, was one of the most versatile and advanced machines in the Z-Man arsenal, capable of adapting to any situation.

Nagi nodded in approval. "Hoo, she's an ojou-sama? But her story is really cool, and the world-building is so detailed!"

Gameplay: Z-Pink Hana Mask

Nagi started playing as Z-Pink, quickly noticing her unique playstyle.

Charge Attack: Slams her energy whips into the ground, creating a shockwave.

1-Orb Hissatsu Waza: Sakura Petal Strike—Momoko creates psychic energy in the form of sakura petals, which she uses to strike enemies.

2-Orb Chou Hissatsu Waza: Psychic Energy Bomb—Momoko forms a massive psychic energy ball, wraps it with her energy whips, and slams it into the ground, causing a devastating explosion.

While Z-Pink lacked the raw power of Z-Green, her speed and longer attack range made her a formidable character. After 40 minutes of intense gameplay, Nagi finally cleared the game with her.

Interrupted by Reality

Just as Nagi was about to unlock a new sentai warrior, his mother entered the room.

"Nagi, stop playing that thing and come eat! After that, you're helping me buy groceries," she said sternly, holding a slipper in her hand.

Nagi paled. "But Mom!"

His mother raised the slipper threateningly. "Do it, or I'll teach you something more fun than that machine."

Reluctantly, Nagi saved his progress and turned off the ZEPS. 'Nooo! Just when I was about to unlock the secret Sentai! I know I've been playing for like six hours straight, but still…!'

Sighing, he reluctantly left his room to eat.
