Chapter 38: Chapter 38: Gaileo Unchained!
I explained the Road Ponyglyphs to the others, and how we needed to find them to figure out the location of the final island Raftel.
"Of the four of them, I know the location of three and I think I have a lead on the fourth. Although one of them is still going to be hard to find." I said explaining the situation to them. Through watching the series I know the location of three of the Road Ponyglyphs, but I still don't know about the final one. Unfortunately I only know about what happens up until a certain point, it's not like I can read the latest chapters here.
"One is on Whole Cake Island which is Big Mom's territory. Another is in Wano Country, which is ruled by Kaido. The last one I know the location of is in Zou. That being said, actually finding where it is will be the tough part. It's not on any map and technically it's not an island."
"Well either way this info is a great start. The biggest problem we have is that we don't have anyone on the crew who can read Ponyglyphs. How are we going to be able to decipher the information that we need?" Jack asked.
"That is the tricky part. I'm not sure, but I have a few people in mind that we might be able to use." I replied.
"Alright, so where to first? I guess it'd have to either be Whole Cake or Wano." Yuma said.
"Eh, I really don't want to go to either place." Rei said.
"Well I just so happen to have formulated perfect plans for both Ponyglyphs. The first step is that I need to get married." I said.
"Huh? To who? Which one?" Celeste asked as she and Isabella seemed to be blushing for some reason. I don't know what that was all about. Women, am I right?
"To one of Big Mom's daughters." I said. This caused the to give a collective "Huh?". "Listen guys it's all part of my plan. Getting to that place isn't going to be easy. Sneaking in probably won't work, and trying to fight our way in probably isn't the best idea either."
"So then what's the plan exactly?" Yuma asked.
"It's simple, we go to Whole Cake we offer an alliance through marriage. That gets us in the door. Then while everyone is distracted the wedding preparations we get to the Ponyglyph and then get out of there." I explained.
"Oh, so you're not actually getting married, right?" Isabella asked.
"I wasn't planning on it no." I said.
"Are you sure that this will work?" Rei asked. "It sounds kind of convoluted."
"Yes I'm sure, I saw it work in a movie one time." I replied.
"Movie?" She responded.
"Nothing, just, everybody shut up. This is a rock solid plan. I just need everyone to follow along exactly.
We made our way to While Cake Island after a long journey and when we arrived I requested to have a meeting with Charlotte "Big Mom" Linlin herself.
"We have a visitor that is requesting an audience with you ma'am." A chess piece soldier said as he entered Big Mom's throne room.
"Who could be here that I would want to meet with?" Big Mom said in an annoyed tone.
"It's "Beast Sword" Buster D. Gaileo ma'am."
"Interesting." She said as she decided to come out and meet me.
"Good evening my lady. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance!" I said politely introducing myself.
"You're that upstart who was friends with Whitebeard?" Big Mom asked me abruptly.
"Yes, but I don't see why that's important. A man is allowed to make friends with who ever he wants is he not?" I asked.
"Not in my territory. Not around my crew he can't!" She retorted.
"My good lady, perhaps we got off on the wrong boot. Allow me to unring this bell! My name is "Beast Sword" Buster D. Gaileo. This is my Vice Captain Yuma." I said as we gave a courteous bow.
"Ms. Linlin, I've been lead to believe that you are an elegant lady and a business woman. And it is for these attributes that we have sailed from Baima to Whole Cake to parley with you now. I wish to marry one of your pirate gals!" I said while making exaggerated gestures.
"You sailed from Baima to Whole Cake to marry one of my pirate gals, no appointment no nothing?" She replied.
"Well I'm afraid so!"
"Well what if I say, I don't like you, or your fancy pants swords, and I wouldn't sell you a tinkers damn! Now, what'cha got to say about that?"
Me and Yuma looked back and forth at each other and I twirled a mustache that I didn't have. "Mademoiselle Linlin, If you are the business woman I've been led to believe you to be, I have five thousand cream puffs that could change your mind."
"Well, c'mon inside and get yourself somethin' cool to drank!" Big Mom said in an enthusiastic tone.
