American Tax Officer

Chapter 451: Inspecting the Federal Reserve

In the following days, international raiders poured large sums of money into America, but the financial dynasties led by Sean were well prepared and withstood the pressure.

However, after realizing that they couldn't gain an advantage, these raiders gradually withdrew from the American market, which eventually calmed down.

Internal Revenue Service, Inspector General's Office.

Larin walked in, placed a document on the table, and said, "Chief Inspector, this is the data of all members of the Freemasonry Group, along with the tax investigation report."

David nodded his head, picked it up for a review, and then instructed, "Then don't wait any longer, begin the operation!"

"Understood!"

At two in the afternoon, David, Obadiah Ville Tonghen, and one other arrived at 89 Constitution Avenue.

This was the headquarters of the Federal Reserve.

The reason they came here was to inspect the Federal Reserve's reception work and to discuss tax coordination with the Internal Revenue Service.

"Inspector David, Director Obadiah, Consultant Welton Heng, welcome!"

Upon learning of their visit, Julio, the Deputy Chairman of the Federal Reserve had been waiting early and promptly came up to greet them.

"Mr. Julio."

The three also shook hands with the Deputy Chairman and then followed him into the grand lobby of the Federal Reserve.

The spacious and bright lobby of the Federal Reserve's headquarters, with its marble floors shiny like mirrors and the chandeliers on the ceiling dazzling, instantly reflected the institution's pivotal status in the world of finance.

Entering the office area, they could see rows of tidy desks, each equipped with computers, documents, and green plants.

Large displays showed complex financial data and charts, with some experts gathered around a table, engaged in in-depth analysis and discussion. Each of their decisions could influence the direction of the entire country's economy.

"Inspector David, Director Obadiah, Consultant Welton Heng, our Federal Reserve has an advanced financial data center and research center, which gathers a massive amount of financial information and data, providing strong support for the decision-making of this institution. Researchers and technical staff use advanced tools and methods here to delve deeply into the data and analyze it, supplying a scientific basis for the Federal Reserve's policy formulation..."

While David and his companions were inspecting the Federal Reserve headquarters, Julio was continuously explaining.

After about ten minutes, Obadiah changed the topic and asked, "Mr. Julio, could you give us a brief overview of the Federal Reserve's operational model?"

He needed to understand the Federal Reserve's operational model to formulate taxation policies for the Internal Revenue Service accordingly.

"Sure, simply put, the Federal Reserve consists of three parts. The first is the Federal Reserve Board, which is the Federal Reserve's central management body, including the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and five governors who are responsible for guiding the operations and overseeing the activities of the 12 branches."

"The second is the Federal Open Market Committee, which is the decision-making body for monetary policy, deciding on the federal funds rate and money supply through voting. Those with voting rights include all seven members of the Federal Reserve Board and the President of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, while the remaining four votes rotate among the other eleven Reserve Banks."

"The third consists of the 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks, providing services to commercial banks in their regions, collecting economic data, and participating in the implementation of monetary policies..."

After Julio's explanations, David and his companions had a clear understanding of the Federal Reserve's organizational structure.

"Inspector David..."

Just as the three were digesting the contents of the Federal Reserve's operations, a call from behind made them turn their heads, only to see Sean Thompson, Ivanka, and President Tompy had arrived without notice.

"Mr. President, Mr. Sean, you're here too."

David and his companions approached them and greeted.

"Yes, we just received word that the Federal Reserve has completed the initial reception work, so we came over to take a look!"

While Sean spoke, he took in the sights at the Federal Reserve.

Because of Freemasonry, this was his first time stepping into this world-renowned financial institution.

His heart was filled with mixed feelings at the moment.

His ancestor, President Kennedy, met his demise because of his challenge to this institution.

And now, as a descendant of the President, Sean not only contributed his own efforts to nationalize the Federal Reserve but also strode boldly into it.

If President Kennedy knew of this from heaven, he would undoubtedly be very comforted.

"Julio, as I understand, the Federal Reserve is comprised of twelve Reserve Banks. Have the presidents of these banks and their controlled Reserve Banks completed the handover?"

This time Trump asked the question.

The nationalization of the Federal Reserve was a credit that could be attributed to Trump.

Now, the most important thing was to quickly understand the covert economic scale of the Federal Reserve and to bring those previously untaxed into the taxation fold.

"This..."

Julio looked slightly troubled.

"What's the matter?"

Trump asked promptly.

"The Federal Reserve is vast and complex, and it has only been nationalized for less than three days. It's no small feat to have completed the reception of the headquarters, as for the 12 regional Reserve Banks..."
