Chapter 838: Going Crazy for Money
As dawn broke, Martin left the hotel and invited Alexandrovich into his car for a talk.
Bruce drove personally, sandwiched between a few security vehicles, heading toward the airport.
Martin glanced out the car window and asked, "Is there any response from France?"
"There's none." Alexandrovich couldn't contain his anger, "Is the life of a Ukrainian not a life in the eyes of Westerners?"
As soon as he spoke, he knew he had misspoken and quickly said, "Sorry, Martin, you know I didn't mean that."
Martin nodded slightly, "I understand, but you're right. In the eyes of many Westerners, everything east of Germany belongs to another world."
Alexandrovich was in agony, "I've never felt so powerless as I do now."
"You've already done well enough. After all, there's only so much one person can do," Martin needed someone to be a strong voice, someone to step forward and brave the dangers, and suggested, "Personally, I recommend you unite all the forces you can, form a tightly organized group. In this way, you can influence more people and gather more strength!"
Alexandrovich seriously considered Martin's suggestion as he had indeed met many like-minded people recently.
Martin went on, "It's too difficult to get things done without enough power."
Alexandrovich had fully realized this recently: "If it weren't for a stroke of luck that led to our expose, aside from their families, no one would care about those missing Ukrainian girls, as if they were never part of this world."
Martin patted his arm, "Go unite more people!"
Alexandrovich nodded vigorously, "I have money now, and some influence. I really should take on more responsibility. I will get to the bottom of this!"
He thought for a moment and said, "I will join with friends, like-minded members of society, to form a group."
Martin said, "You will win the support of all Ukrainians."
As long as they persist with this matter, the Ukrainian people would surely support them.
Alexandrovich pondered and then said, "What should this social group be called? Martin, it was your proposal, I..."
Martin waved his hand: "This is your idea, Alexandrovich. Remember that, all of this comes from you, you're a leader!"
Alexandrovich paused for a moment and said, "Martin, I will always remember this."
Martin said, "Actually, I have an idea, 'Servant of the People' has had a strong response in Ukraine, and the second season is about to air soon. You can use this series to unite more people. The newly established group could be called the People's Front or something similar."
Alexandrovich said, "That's a good idea."
These words inspired Alexandrovich, leading him to consider whether the new social group could become a political party in the future?
Perhaps like the Servant of the People Party?
The motorcade arrived at the airport, directly entered the private jet area, where the Global 6000 business jet was parked on the apron.
Martin got out of the car, hugged Alexandrovich, and said, "Take care."
Alexandrovich released Martin and tightly grasped his hands, "You're my teacher, my best friend, have a safe trip."
Orlina came over to hug Martin as well.
Lebrov also came from the car, carrying a large gift box, handed it to Bruce, and said to Martin, "I'll definitely visit you in Los Angeles this year, if not next year at the latest."
Martin shook his hand and said, "Come soon, and I'll show you the charm of Hollywood."
Lebrov laughed heartily.
Three long-legged girls in dark blue jeans approached, each pulling a suitcase.
The crew took their luggage and placed it in the cargo hold.
Martin called out, "Mia, Erica, Nastya, get on the plane."
The three girls happily followed Martin onto the private jet.
Martin stood at the cabin door, waved to the people below, then entered the plane and sat down.
The plane was about to take off, and two flight attendants came over, reminding everyone to fasten their seat belts.
Nastya curiously examined the plane's interior decoration, as this was her first time on a private jet.
Misha and Erica felt the same way.
Martin said, "Soon, your lives will be closely linked to planes."
Curious, Erica asked, "Why? We can't afford a plane."
Embarrassed by the blonde's ignorance, Nastya said, "We're now the Saintess Pop Group, we'll have to travel to different places to perform, so we'll need to take planes often."
Erica scratched her pretty face, "Oh, I see."
As the plane soared into the sky and steadied, Martin unbuckled his seat belt and said to the girls, "I'll show you around."
Nastya was the first to follow, "Okay."
Not to be outdone, Misha and Erica also followed Martin.
The plane wasn't very big, and Martin wouldn't let them into the bedroom, which was reserved for Lily and Elizabeth.
After a round back, the four sat together and chatted.
Martin had the attendants bring over drinks, and he quickly hit it off with Nastya, Misha, and Erica.
With his years of experience, he made the girls laugh and feel at ease.
When the plane landed at Charles de Gaulle Airport's private apron, Martin disembarked with Nastya and Misha each clinging to one of his arms.
Erica, feeling left out, could only follow behind.
A car from the Bulgari Hotel was waiting on the apron.
