Chapter 265: Bottom Fishing

"Take your daughter and go play over there; I've got some serious business to discuss with Mr. Jin." Mike gestured to his wife to take their daughter aside and sat down with Allen Zhang, taking out a pack of cigarettes and offering one.

"I don't smoke," Allen Zhang declined.

"It's a good habit; I actually don't smoke either," Mike said with a smile.

Allen Zhang couldn't help but express his feelings: "How did things end up like this?"

"Bad luck, I guess. You've heard of the Black Gang from the Titan Game Hall in the city, right? It's just because I had some connections with them, did a few deals. They offended some people in the entertainment industry, which led to some arrests. The police dug up their side businesses, and based on the leads, they also dragged me down, along with other channel dealers."

Mike was indignant, "I don't even know which bastard did it."

Upon hearing this, Allen Zhang immediately sat up straight with an unchanged expression, "That is indeed unexpected."

Titan Game Hall? Isn't that a funny coincidence? They happen to have a feud with the General Sect Leader.

"So Mark told me you're not planning to pay the bail, where do you plan to run off to?" asked Allen Zhang.

"To Brazil. I know some people there," Mike was not too revealing. "I'm really short on cash now. If you want to buy my assets - a recycling station downtown, a customization shop, and a car dealership - you'll have to give me at least $150,000. Of course, I'll have Mark and Fury stay here to help you. They're both professionals!"

"The price seems fair," Allen Zhang nodded, ready to agree.

Seeing that your wife is so beautiful and your daughter so cute.

"That price isn't really reasonable, $120,000 is more like it," Mark chimed in.

"Hey, buddy, whose side are you on?" Boss Mike was a bit annoyed.

"I am no longer your employee," Mark said, annoyed.

"But at least I'm still your cousin-in-law, right?" Mike laughed it off.

Allen Zhang watched the two in surprise.

"Fxxk! I wasted all my youth on you! You still have the nerve to say that. If it weren't for you stopping me from chasing my dreams, I'd be living a better life now," Mark cursed.

"Who would hire a technician with no high school diploma?" Mike countered.

"I have the skills, that's enough," said Mark.

"There are plenty of skilled people out there, but not everyone can fix planes and rockets. It's not the same level of skill at all, and you definitely can't enter the military industry. You can only fix cars!" Mike belittled.

"You've already borrowed hundreds of thousands for your getaway. That's enough for a family of three to live well, so stop thinking about scamming others. I'm really fed up! You black-hearted Grangtail!" Mark said angrily.

"My business is legal! Who did I scam? The court hasn't even issued a warrant for my arrest. I can totally mortgage and sell these things before that happens. You're my cousin's family, you shouldn't be standing against us!" Mike retorted.

The two started arguing and blaming each other heatedly, while Old Fury watched the squabble with interest, grabbing a stool and settling in to watch the drama.

The two bulldogs were also rattled by the tense atmosphere, huddling together, trembling, and not daring to make a sound.

The General Sect Leader had long seen that the two dogs are cowards.

"You never gave me a raise," said Mark.

"I never settled up with you for the money you make selling cars on the side! Only because your cousin protected you!" said Mike.

"I'm stuck in this dump 24 hours a day."

"That's because you're not used to dealing with people, you only like to immerse yourself in mechanics. All the girls I introduced to you got scared off by your weird hobby! Others ask you out, and all you think about is fixing cars! Fxxk you! You freak!! You should go back to school and learn from those high school kids whose brains are full of hormones and sex drives!" Mike ranted angrily.

"While my cousin was pregnant, you sneaked off to see call girls!" accused Mark.

"That was with your cousin's permission! She loves me, and I love her."

"Then you two are a pair of freaks!!"

"Fxxk! I won't let you talk about your cousin like that!"

"I will say it!!"

The two cursed and nearly came to blows, clearly they could no longer stand each other.

"..."

Allen Zhang didn't expect they had such a complicated family relationship going on, a family business indeed.

Their argument gave him a headache, and in the end, he could only wave his hands and call a stop, "Ok! Shut up! No more arguing! $150,000, final offer! I'll buy it! These assets are indeed worth that price."

"You don't understand, they're not worth it at all. If you buy them, you'll be at a loss!" Mark argued.

"Buddy, in my eyes, you alone are worth that price. You think I came for this recycling station and this crappy customization shop? No! It was because of you!" Allen Zhang said earnestly.

Mark was instantly dumbstruck.

Damn, how is that any different from a confession?

"I'm not gay," Mark said uncomfortably.

"Get lost, neither am I," Allen Zhang cursed.

Mike also sneered, "It's rare someone is willing to spend money on you, it'd be even better if it were a woman."

Mark's expression darkened.

Mad, you old rascal are really sharp-tongued.

"You shut up too! Take the money, grab your wife, and get the hell out of my sight! Take good care of the woman who is willing to give up everything for you and your lovely child." Allen Zhang gave the middle finger and took out several stacks of paper currency from his bag and threw them at him.
