Along The Path Of Vengeance(Sasuke/Mha)

While the sun shone brightly on the war in Japan, Obito and Minato had only a desk lamp and the moonlight to see each other with. Minato thought, 'I can't seem to transport the President back here... that's not right. Basic teleportation shouldn't stop me from bringing him back... unless he was put somewhere like... another planet? No... more like a separate dimension of some kind...'

Minato questioned, "What are you trying to do with the President?!"

Obito raised his arms in a coy manner, "Oh relax, Number 2... I mean Number 1 Hero," He mumbled, "By technicality..." He cleared his throat, "I just want the Nuclear Launch codes from the dear President. You can have him back when I'm done."

Minato's eyes narrowed, and he gripped a kunai harder, "Over my dead body. What could AFO need nukes for?"

"Oh, come now, what rising superpower wouldn't have nukes? Your President planned to send some nukes to us soon anyway, I'm just pushing the delivery date ahead of time." Obito chuckled before Minato interrupted him by throwing a kunai through his head.

'It's just as Hawks said,' it phased through his head as if he were a hologram.

"Sorry, but you'd be too troublesome to fight, I'll be taking my leave now," Obito phased through the ground, but Minato made a rasengan and destroyed the floor.

"You're not going anywhere!"

The rubble interrupted Obito's attempted phase and he thought, 'Tsh... having to fight the Yellow Flash is a very undesirable outcome at the moment... But if it's unavoidable... then I'll do what I must.' He released chains and let them drop from his wrist, 'The President is already secure, so I just need to get him off my back.'

Minato landed in front of him and went straight for his throat, but it went through. Minato brainstormed, 'Attacks won't matter until he materializes on his own, but I can't make it too obvious that I'm gonna bait him.'

Minato backstepped and Obito dashed at him, reaching for his arm. He got within millimeters of it, although Minato threw a kunai through his head and teleported to it, attempting to stab through his neck, but Obito phased and yanked on the chains.

The chains wrapped around Minato and held his arms together while breaking his phone, but before Obito could capitalize on this, Minato teleported out of it. The deadly dance continued with both combatants fully aware that an instance of physical contact was all they'd need to end the fight. The fight moved from a hallway to one of the lounge rooms and after some more exchanges, they both stopped when they heard a door swing open next to Obito.

Minato's cool expression turned into widened eyes while a shiver ran down his spine. "Dad, I finally found you! I heard a bunch of fighting and came by to help, what's"—

—"Naruto!! Run!" Minato's voice cracked and Obito's eyes gleamed as he took advantage in an instant, motioning to grab Naruto who was in arm's reach.

"I win."

Minato made a Rasengan while throwing his last kunai at Obito's head, but Obito blocked it with his arm while his other hand was microseconds from touching Naruto. In a panic, Minato teleported to the seal he placed on Naruto and tried to slam the rasengan into Obito, but he anticipated this and moved his hand toward where Minato would attack in advance, finally touching him and warping him away in an instant along with Naruto.

Obito spotted another Naruto staring at him fearfully outside the door, and he thought, 'Hm? That's right, the Yellow Flash's son did have a clone quirk. But no matter...'

Obito relaxed and straightened up, slowly chuckling before erupting into full-on laughter. Naruto clenched his fist and yelled, "What did you do to my Dad, you bastard?!"

Obito's laughter died down, and he took a deep breath. "He's probably having a nice talk with the President in my dimension right now. Sadly for him, that'll have to be his permanent residence until he dies of thirst now."

Naruto's clenched fist shook and his face contorted, "Wha... what?"

"Heh, I have to thank you, boy. It would have been really difficult to pull off a win otherwise. As a gift to you, I'll let you choose whether you want to run away or join your father. How does that sound?"

The room was filled with silence as Naruto looked down while he sweated profusely, 'I... I got my dad captured... It was my fault... Damn it! Why didn't I listen to him? Now he's gonna...'

Inside the bleak Kamui dimension, Minato fell to the ground and looked around, only to see white plain blocks and blackness everywhere in sight. He saw Naruto in front of him fall, only to vanish in a puff of smoke. Minato paused for a second as realization dawned on him and he slammed his fist into the ground, "Damn it!!" 'I should have had more faith in him... of course it was a clone... Now I'm... Damn it!'

He closed his eyes and tried to use Flying Raijin, but he couldn't go anywhere. He ruffled his hands through his hair with gritted teeth. 'What the hell can Naruto do on his own?'

"Minato?"

Minato turned around to see the President and he jogged over to him before kneeling at his side, "Mr. President. Are you ok?"

"I am... Are you not able to get us out of this?"

Minato sighed, "I don't think I can. This... dimension we're in seems to be cutting off my connection to my markings."

Harrison nodded grimly, "I see... I suppose we're both prisoners unless he decides otherwise now... Was it just you that came to fight him?"

Minato's jaw tightened, "My son is still out there..."

Harrison's brows raised, "Naruto?" He looked around with hopeless eyes, "We'll probably be seeing him in here too soon than..."

Minato opened his mouth to instinctively defend his son, but his expression eased, "Yeah, probably... Naruto is stronger than most pros but... if only he inherited Flying Raijin..." Minato sat down.

Harrison sat with his back to Minato in silence for a while before speaking up, "It's probably useless at this point but... There was something weird I noticed that must have been happening while you were fighting him."

Minato turned to him, "Tell me."

Back in the real world, Naruto's head dropped in despair while he muttered, "Dad might die now... and it's my fault... I..."

Obito chuckled while he put away his chains, "Don't be so hard on yourself. With how self-sacrificial heroes are, he would have slipped up on his own eventually, regardless."

Naruto clenched his fist and glared up at Obito, but didn't make a move. 'DAMN IT! How the hell can I fight a guy like this that I can't even touch? I'm not just gonna let him go, but what do I do?... If only I could have inherited Dad's Flying Raijin... damn genes…'

Obito finished putting his chains away, "Hm, since you're taking so long to decide, I'll decide for you. Get ready to see your Dad."

He reached for Naruto's face and Naruto's mind raced, 'Is this it? No... I'm the only one left here to stop him... I have to, I have to!'

Naruto's heart raced a million beats a minute and a golden spark emitted from his face, followed by the rest of his body slowly emanating a golden energy that covered him like a cloak with FTG markings spread across it.

Obito jumped back cautiously and his eye narrowed, "What are you doing?"

Naruto blinked, looking down at his hands and recognizing the markings. "I... don't know."

Obito, capitalizing on the confusion dashed back in to suck him, "Well no matter! No reason to find out!"

He nearly grabbed Naruto's collar, but Naruto easily dodged the attempt and smiled, 'I feel... really powerful!' He tried to punch Obito, and his fist enlarged, stretching out across the room in an instant, engulfing Obito from the neck down.

Obito groaned and spoke in an irritated tone while jumping back, "What an irritating time to awaken a new ability..."

Naruto blinked after seeing his own attack before donning a wide smile. "Oh hell yeah!" Naruto thought, 'This yellow stuff looks like the flashes Dad turns into... This is really different but... can I move as fast as him? Only one way to find out!'

"You should have took your chance to beat me when you could have, but it's too late now! I'm gonna kick your ass then make you release Dad and the President! Believe it!"

Naruto seemed to turn into a beam of energy as he charged straight for Obito and ended up going so fast that he accidentally destroyed the wall behind him and rolled around.

Obito turned around, staring into the grey smoke where there had previously been a wall. He motioned to drop his chains again, 'This brat really would have got me there if I didn't have Kamui active… He's not as fast as Minato, but still faster than anyone else I've fought… He can't be treated as a mere non-factor anymore.'

He sighed and held his chains, 'Running from a child is rather embarrassing, but I can just complete my mission by ignoring him.'

Obito began to warp himself, but another large golden arm tried to grab him and forced him to phase. "Where do you think you're going?! I'm not letting you run away!"

The smoke dissipated, revealing five Naruto's. 'This speed is gonna take some getting used to, but clones can help compensate for that.'

All the Naruto's dashed for Obito at slower speeds and he smacked his lips before engaging with the clones. He allowed another large fist to pass through him while motioning to hit the clone, but he suddenly felt a white-hot pain in the phased part of his body.

He stumbled and rolled on the ground to reveal a stab wound in his stomach, and his mind raced with possibilities, but before he could come to a conclusion, one clone tried to kick him, making him instinctively phase.

Although he yelled in pain once again, this time a large wound coming from what looked like a Rasengan appeared on his stomach. Obito managed to force himself to stand up and he poofed two clones before making some distance and covering his bleeding wounds. 'That damned Yellow Flash!! Is he using small instances of phasing to attack me?!' This got a lot worse... I have to prioritize escaping now.'

Naruto was momentarily confused by Obito's wounds, but the dots connected in his head when he saw the leftover damage from the Rasengan along with an FTG mark on Obito's stomach, "Heh! I bet that's my dad kicking your ass on the other side isn't it? You consider giving up yet?" Naruto taunted him with his hands on his hips and Obito glared at him, but then turned around and ran.

"Eh?" Naruto scoffed and quickly ran after Obito, "Like hell I'm letting you get away!"

Inside the Kamui dimension, Minato stood attentively with two kunai, ready at any moment for Obito to phase again. 'That's my son! Whatever you're doing, Naruto... you're giving him one hell of a fight. Don't let up!'

Minato spotted Obito's arm floating in the corner of his eye and instinctively tossed his kunai at it, followed by teleporting and cutting it clean off.

It flopped to the ground and Minato went back to the President's side. Harrison whistled, "Good man. Do you think that—"

His sentence was interrupted by the sensation of warping, leading to both of their perceptions being reverted from the Kamui dimension back to the real world in front of Naruto.

Minato blinked, seeing Naruto's golden hue, and blinked, "Naruto?"

Naruto smiled, "Dad!"

Obito took advantage of the brief distraction to get as far away as possible, and once he was out of sight, he safely teleported far off to the nearest Nuclear Launch facility. He grunted and grabbed where his arm was missing, then leaned against a wall. 'Those damn bastards! Everything's going wrong... I doubt I'll be able to secure any nukes now, but at the very least I can kill anyone that's able to launch them...' He stood up straight, taking a deep breath and preparing to continue the mission. Although after taking one step, he quickly felt a kunai jabbed straight through his throat as he made eye contact with Minato's steely blue eyes.

Obito stiffened up and coughed up blood under his mask, causing some to pour under the bottom of it while he fell to his knees. He gargled out. "Grghhg... H... How??!!"

Minato stared down at him without any emotion showing, "I marked you earlier. Phasing is tricky, but there's nothing to phase through when I can transport my attack directly into the space you reside in.

The light faded from Obito's eyes and he tried to speak again, but there was too much blood in his throat, and he collapsed, lifeless.

Minato knelt down and felt his neck to confirm there was no heartbeat, then he teleported back to the White House.

He appeared in front of the President and Naruto, who was still glowing, and announced, "Obito is done for. He won't be harming anyone ever again."

Harrison sighed in relief, "You really are deserving of the rank of Number 1 Hero, Minato. Good job."

"Thank you, Mr. President. I gotta give my son a lot of praise though," he smiled and patted Naruto's shoulder. "I thought we were done for at first, but you really proved me wrong..." He analyzed Naruto for a moment before continuing, "You'll be a much greater hero than I'll ever be in the long run."

Naruto blushed through his golden skin and rubbed the back of his head while laughing softly, "Hehe... You did most of the work. I just did what I had to do, Dad."

"You did more than that. I thought you didn't inherit Flying Raijin, but... it looks like it mutated in a weird way inside you. Maybe that's why it took so long."

Harrison spoke, "I think we can all agree you both did great in not just saving America, but the whole world from AFO getting access to a Nuclear arsenal."

A chill ran down Minato's spine and he pulled his hand away from Naruto, "The world.. That's right, I still need to help Hawks and the others! They must have been fighting alone for a long time now!"

"Can I come?"

Minato turned to Naruto with scrunched together brows, "Naruto... you've done more than enough already, this is going to be—"

"—The final battle right? The fate of the world will be decided by this! They can use all the help they can get!" He pumped his fist and his energy flared up, "Besides, I still gotta test out this new quirk some more! I've shown I'm capable of facing the strongest guys already!"

Minato paused with his mind racing in silence for a long time when Harrison stepped forward, "I think you should both go."

Minato's eyes widened, "Really?"

He nodded and took a deep breath, "I already agreed that I'd wait until Japan fought one last decisive battle. If that's the case, they really are gonna need all the assistance they can get... The world needs you two."

Naruto had a huge smile, and Minato smirked, "That's an order?"

Harrison rolled his eyes, "As if you've been any good at following those lately."

Minato laughed and saluted the President, "See you in a few hours once the world is saved."

Naruto followed the gesture awkwardly and Harrison saluted back to them, "I better, or else you're fired."

Naruto chuckled and offered a fist bump to his dad, "Ready to save the world?"

"Ready." Minato fist bumped him back, and they both turned into a beam of yellow light that crossed the world in an instant.

Most of the theaters of the war came to a close, heroes and students stood victorious over all of AFO's High Guard, suffering losses in the process of overcoming nearly impossible odds, and thereby proving their valor as heroes on the level of the top 10. But, although those battles ended, three fights continued to rage on from start to finish. One was Shoto vs Dabi where brothers were forced to clash to the death. Then there was Shigaraki vs the heroes in the floating Cage Match high up in the sky, engaged in a battle that would lead either to Shigaraki's death or bloom as an invincible evil.

But down below in the Gunga Mountain Villa ruins was a battle that was destined to happen for seven years. It was a conflict far more personal, and maybe even more important.

THIRTY MINUTES EARLIER

The culmination of everything Sasuke has been working towards since he was nine years old, was finally being put to the test here against the original source of his hatred.

Sasuke and AFO stared into each other's souls while flying in the sky, their gazes expressed nothing but animosity toward one another. The one-on-one battle between the top two fighters from each side begins now.
