Foreword
Dear reader,
All adventurers thrive on getting a good adventure guidebook. Sometimes, the guidebook is an encyclopaedia. Sometimes, the guidebook is a narrational map. My work is the latter.
This work describes the hero’s journey. It is a simple theme, that I have elaborated in a way to emphasize the human conflict with motivation. It tackles the concept of ‘wholeness’ of character.
To my understanding, stories are centered on, emotional and rational, flows and metaphors. Dealing with the concept of metonymy, ‘looking at this scenery makes me feel like butterflies are fluttering in my stomach’ is an emotional statement, while ‘he’s as thin as a stick’ is a rational statement. Objectively speaking, the person had his cortisol level decreased, for the emotional statement, and the person described has a low body-mass index, for the rational statement.
This is my chosen understanding of what makes up a story. Every story is a timeline-based adventure, that, like games, has a theory. I think objectivity and conscience-based decisions are closely related. These two are the focus for the story you will read.
Being living organisms who can think, we are endowed with both perception and perceptual belief from birth. As we grow, we learn to recognize perceptual beliefs, and integrate new beliefs which are most opportune to them. Some things start to feel more important to us. Some things start to feel less important to us.
Perceptual belief makes it impossible to recant the fact that every human is born unique in his thinking. Perceptual belief drives us to associate habits of meaning to what we perceive, For instance, Foxp2 is a gene that enables human speech, and cannot be found in parrots. As such, we developed the habit of speech, and learned to better understand – and believe - the world we live in. Based on the evolution of our perceptual belief, each of us selects the object of our analysis. We dream up the world anew, to better understand it. That is illusory.
Perceptual belief is that entity which makes it possible for your eyes to not just function as aimless cameras. Perceptual belief makes it possible for your mouth to not just produce sounds, and for your ears to not just pick up on random sounds. Perceptual belief is this set of strategies that makes the concept of ‘meaning’ possible. We engage in emotionality, rationality, objectivity, and our conscience, to engage in utilitarianism and to also do the ‘right thing’.
Every human is a born set of strategies. Every human is born an ideology.
Ideology itself is born when our human genes combine to form a new human. In the meantime, the cells which carry our genes till they combine to form such ideology, have their meaning centered around joining two sets of strategies together.
Governance of ideology requires a shared strategy. Governance of ideology can be individualistic. Governance of ideology can have increased perception, such that the environment itself transmutes in front of the individual. Governance of ideology can have increased perceptual beliefs together, such that differing individuals join together and, in different ways, perceive some entity or project, before confirming what it means.
Governance of ideology can have increased perceptual beliefs together, with increased perception, such that it becomes a festival of consciences. That is a miraculous story known as transcendence. The increased perceptual belief is genuine. The increased perception is genuine. The festival is canonical. The festival is not just illusory forms in your mind.
Dedicated to executing genuine governance, than limited, false governance, are entities that seek approval of your emotionality, of your rationality, of objectivism, and of your conscience. Your faith is increased through religion. The execution of your faith is increased through politics.
Politics is the imposition of genuine canonicity, that is, canonicity approximating some manner of universal law, for beliefs, individualism and perception. Politics is nested in a common negotiated ideology, contracted to entities within or outside, which respect the common negotiated ideology for governance, and which may exhibit, ideally, trusted authority of competence, or trusted authority of force, in execution of personal faith, while in service of the negotiated common faith.
Transcendence, on one hand, lies between political and religious governance, and on another, lies on individual ideology. Transcendence fluctuates upward and downward, then connected like a wave, then distinct particles. Transcendence relies on canonicity of maximum faith and canonicity of maximum execution of faith. Canonicity is to be modulated, but is a burden.
Maximum canonicity is either during wartime or upon breakthrough stages called ‘Renaissance’. However, it does not only happen in groups.
“Each man is questioned by life and he can only answer to life by answering for his own life.” (Viktor Frankl (Man’s Search for Meaning), p. 115)
It is a reality that mass psychosis is a feature of group transcendence. The unconscious mind’s canonicity is brought a step forward through a story’s playground. In fighting for oneself, one takes responsibility for oneself. This individual responsibility is what attracts people to each other.
[survival/stoic + (ideology = pathetic/goal-oriented/extraordinary drama/journey = music = habit of meaning)] = life.
A story’s purpose is exactly as outlined above, increasing the conscious strategies at your disposal for faith, and for execution of faith.
In this story, you will find the ideology of the Thesis nation. The nation has a goddess.
…
A useful map is a useful tool. Even so, it takes courage and foolhardiness to use a tool, irrespective of its effectiveness.
That’s my nuance as a reader and as a writer. If you share the sentiment, it’s great!
I wish you well on your reading.
Best Regards,
The author.
