Our departure was heart breaking. Hayley and Crissy especially made our departure difficult. Greg’s stalker was lurking in the distance so at least Greg had an easy time. They told us to visit from time to time but I’m unsure if we will be able to. They have a month off now and they wanted to join us but Greg and I had convinced Teppei to stop them.

Also, we are most likely going to make Igrini Kingdom our enemy. They don’t need a whole country being pissed off at them. We took the teleport gate to the AA in Ainahs. I had to wait 10 minutes before Greg and Raishin appeared.

Hey Greg. I have a question. What would happen if the Aquini Kingdom learns that Igrini Kingdom had sent Raishin, a beast kin, to Event Horizon.

Greg stopped and took a pensive stance.

Oof, that might actually be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and an actual war might break out.

Come on we’re just joking; I’m sure Shania understands the situation and wouldn’t mind. You might get a slap at worst.

Raishin looked at me and he looked like he genuinely felt that he messed up.

I helped Raishin up because he was attracting a lot of attention by acting dramatic in the teleport gate terminal. Greg and Raishin walked into the main hall but I was carefully looking around.

What are you doing?

I have to make sure Healerguy isn’t here. He always finds me somehow. I think the coast is clear.

I could relax because Healerguy didn’t seem to be around. The 4 of us headed out to find a hotel. Yes, the 4 of us, the stalker thought she was being sneaky but she can’t escape my eyes. I don’t see any harm in this as long as she doesn’t hurt Greg.

This might actually be beneficial since she can help him when he gets lost or something. Also, anyone who tries to fight Greg will have to fight her too. She doesn’t seem to be a Silent Night but a Hawkeye. She seems to be well aware of her surroundings. We found a random hotel that was close to the south gate. We would take our time to get to the capital because we had 20 days to get there.

We didn’t want to stay in Ainahs though.

I can finally get my revenge!

Raishin had imbued a pillow with orange lightning and it was slowly disintegrating.

That looks very dangerous. So, tell me how is that pillow not disintegrating?

Raishin started to boast about how his mana control had improved. I wasn’t really listening because he didn’t realize that I was stalling for time until his pillow would disintegrate. Which it did after 74 seconds of him boasting.

A perfect hit on his head. the force of the hit launched him into the wall.

The door got flung open ad an edgy character entered.

What in the Hourai… He looked at all the feathers on the ground and Raishin who was slumped against the wall and was getting up.

This again?! Raishin you’re coming to my room!

Raishin got his stuff and moved into the room of Greg and I shattered an illusion to return the room back to normal.

I sat down on the bed. What is the objective of the royal family? Why apologize now? Did Shania put them up to it? Or is this some sort of trap? Maybe they brought Cygnus and Geminga over there to capture us.

Luckily nobody here knows that we’re beast kin. This country isn’t a big fan of them. The more I think of this situation the more this seems like a bad idea. But! I will let Greg and Raishin babysit me. I babysat them in the labyrinth and the whole uni stuff is Greg’s and Raishin’s fault so I think I deserve to kick back a bit.

I fell asleep and had a nightmare about that Blur that sucked up my shadow clone.

I woke up sweating andlooked around. No Blur close by. Maybe it thinks it has me now and won’t return. Let’s make myself believe that. I looked out of the window and it was a full moon. Time to see what this is about.

It felt as if my mind got sucked into the moon. A lot of unfamiliar information floated by. I tried to look for the part where I had left off. I had to focus to return a part of my mind back to my body. I connected to the air leyline currents and placed a [Counter Swirl] in the air to prevent clouds from ruining this experience.

My mind got fully sucked into the moon the moment I relaxed. Now about this thing where silver 9t don’t exist. Let’s see. Golden 9t also don’t exist. Huh? Solar fox, Lunar fox? Looks similar but is quite different?

Solar foxes tap into the power of the sun and Lunar foxes into the power of the moon. Wait getting stronger during the night isn’t a 9t thing? So, I must be a Lunar fox then. And I guess my mom was a Solar fox. She’s also a phoenix so that is quite fitting. Wait shouldn’t I also be a Solar fox? I had already determined that my father probably wasn’t one. Maybe it skipped generation and I got it from gramps.

Let’s see so their role is similar to the 9t, placing 3 races in charge of maintaining the dimension in their role. Hmm if that’s the case what’s the point of making a distinction? Solar foxes tend to use the rare element Sol, while the Lunar foxes tend to use Pagos. So, I guess frost magic. I’ve never heard of the Sol element. Is it like fire element? Or fusion? What about [Solar Stream]?

I made the magic circle of [Solar Stream] appear and skimmed through its structure. It has no unknown elements to me it just has light and fire element. So, I guess I don’t secretly know skills that have this Sol element. Then there is something super special, a fox born gold and turned silver. Those seem to be exceedingly rare and extremely powerful.

Cool cool, that’s not me though, I was born black turned silver. Now what is the deal with the Lunar fox then?

Lunar foxes gain access to [Moontalk]. Which is what I’m doing right now. They also command Pagos, and draw strength from the night and the moon. Their power is at its apex during the blood moon. Their [Ehluna] State allows for powerful Pagos and illusion attacks which have an unpredictable nature.

Solar foxes gain access to [Solar Body].

Aha, what does this do? What? They become immune to any non-fire attack? What is this bullshit! Oh, it only can be used when the sun is at its highest point so between 12:00 and 13:00. Still overpowered, god mode for 1 hour. And foxes have high fire resistance so yeah good luck fighting that during their god mode window. Their [Asol] State allows for powerful Sol and fusion attacks with a power escalating nature.

Let’s look up more stuff. [Moontalk] can only be done during the full moon and all the information the moon holds is information that is known by any moon related race, or any event that happens under moonlight.

Oh, this is cool so as long as something happens under the moonlight, I can access it? Let’s see can I use this to find Toxic Donkey.

Looking for information and events was surprisingly easy. It took me an hour to find him. He was hiding in a hut in a forest with Io, it’s the forest in Aquini Kingdom, not all too far from the Aquini river. He seems to be fine; his donkey suit was missing an ear though. It looked like it was corroded. He seemed to be treating Io who had a nasty poisoning but had almost made a full recovery.

I was relieved. Toxic Donkey and Io are safe. Let’s see if I can find Thalia.

I kept looking and looking. Either she hasn’t moved under the moon or is somewhere where the moon can’t reach… I can also look at past events. I tried to go back to when she had disappeared but I got forcibly disconnected. I looked at the [Counter spin] which was supposed to make sure I didn’t get interrupted but I noticed that the sky was starting to lighten. I have spent the whole night in [Moontalk]... No moon, no [Moontalk]. This is easy to understand. I guess I will look for Thalia again at the next full moon.

ehaustion overtook me. [Moontalk] is quite tiring. I was about to doze off when something started to bother me. Isn’t my frost magic from my phoenix side? Why am I a lunar fox? Is it from both?

Great now I don’t even know who or what I am. Silver fox is linked to frost magic but I could use frost before my hair and tails turned silver so maybe the frost from my fox side awakened then? Judging from my fight with Cygnus, it doesn’t seem like my frost affinity is as crazy as my fire affinity.

I got tired of all these questions without answers and fell asleep.

I woke up late but that was fine. We had nothing planned today. We would leave at midnight so I had 8 hours till then so I hopped into my dimensional pocket.

I had made a space that was similar to Azu’s lab. It’s possible to create new skills without this setup but it will be way harder. I had an idea for a new type of clone. I would also start working on something to help the Misha so their skills can’t be stolen after death.

We would be leaving in 30 minutes but this skill I wanted to make for the Misha had me stumped. Mana flow stops after death so it is extremely hard to make something stay active after death. While this isn’t all too hard to do on living beings. Well, they won’t be living… Let’s rephrase that.

Having magical effects after death aren’t extremely difficult to create for anything that lives or was once alive, for inanimate objects this is different. Because after a Misha in this case dies, many processes still continue in the body, the person is just not alive anymore. Anything that’s purely magical or chemical still continues until there is a need for an input, like oxygen, food, or drawing mana in from the environment, all things a person can’t do while they're dead. Now a hat doesn’t have this. It will even dump the mana it holds in the Misha to force a large burst of healing and strong Misha can even revive when this happens. So only strong Misha have 2 lives, technically, they will be low on mana after that happens so it is very likely that they will still die unless they escape.

So, if I theoretically would want to kill a Misha. I will have to make sure to anticipate a burst of healing or even the Misha reviving. And then kill her again. Now I can take the hat away but I will have to keep the hat at a certain distance away from the Misha to stop this. The shortest documented range was 33m.

This is not my research this is what I have read in the Misha library. Now this Ver Witch probably knows this so she either has a skill to block the mana dump of the hat, or takes the hat away and then kills the Misha. The hat becomes quite useless after the mana dump and this mana dump is my problem. I can’t protect the skills the hat holds if it does the mana dump.

Besides that, the magic structures of Misha hats are extremely complicated. Fixing this problem is probably going to take long. Longer than it took me to create [Hattrick]. I decided to put this on hold. There might be a possibility that I will have to pay Witchaven a visit to get more information. I was done for now. At least my skill was completed. Opponents are going to hate fighting these clones. I smiled and got back to the normal world.

We got ready to leave for Scasarras. We tried to do some sightseeing but this country seemed to be in a mess. Ainahs for some reason the only place that still looked normal. The small villages seemed to be hit by poverty. We tried to help out as much as wandering travellers could and arrived at Scasarras a week later.
