Agnisotra: Origin Tails

I had to tell my students to continue and focus on their studies and not trying to spend all of it hanging out with me. I had transformed back to my male self. I did keep the dress and accessories. They might be useful for my next Agnès Oures adventure. Crissy had buried herself in her studies and the rest of the students seemed to have focused on their other exams. Greg had given his students a standard exam so he had to grade them.

A week had passed since the last exam and Greg was still grading the exams. This gave the students time to spend time with me. I just went with it. I got dragged shopping through the campus shopping center, fishing, climbing, they even dragged me to a party. I had managed to drag Greg too. Greg was getting hit on and his stalker was scaring them off again. Raishin had the time of his life. He had finally earned his way to 1 gold. He barely has 1 gold but it’s something. Mo was making the dancefloor unsafe. Some humans are mysterious, how can he move like that?

He was about 127 kg but his dance moves were more fluid than anyone. He was absolutely killing it. He was putting the cool and ripped dudes to shame. Raishin gave it a shot and he was more the comic relief. He tried to copy Mo but he failed miserably. I looked on while I was clearing out all the snacks. The barman was keeping an eye out on me but that’s useless if I can use [Turning Leaf] to steal snacks.

“Hey I saw that!” Woops the barman caught on.

He sent a bouncer at me and I had to take evasive maneuvers. The music was loud and mostly bad. It was quite dark yet there were still lights flashing everywhere. A lot of students were being gross but I guess this is their time to unwind.

I saw Hayley and some of her friends dancing provocatively while also being dressed like such. It was driving Raishin crazy. Is this how humans get educated? It looks like any trace of intelligence had disappeared and had made place for pleasure and lust. The more I learn about Uni, the more I wonder why Raishin didn’t like it. It seems he does now though.

I sat down in an empty corner and made a double layered [Air ball] with a vacuum in between to keep the noise out.

Ahh my personal quiet bubble. I kept swapping snacks and drinks toward myself. The barman noticed again that the counter was full of ice cubes but he couldn’t see me from here.

I love my Elgards eyes. I looked at how almost everyone was intoxicated, Greg included. He didn’t seem to have noticed that the chicks did that to him on purpose. Is today the day he really becomes a man? I leaned back into the couch.

After we leave, we need to get back to finding leads on how to return home. I have to find Thalia and Toxic Donkey. There was no trace of Toxic Donkey in that arena place. I need to watch out for that Ver witch that wants to steal [Hattrick] and I have an extra big target on me so the moment Biian smells me I’m toast. So which problem do I address first? I might also have to check on Vinny but he is careful so hopefully he won’t disappear. Am I missing something

I was deep in thought so I didn’t notice 5 intoxicated chicks and an intoxicated Raishin sit with me in my quiet corner.

“Heyyy Agnis, why are you here alone?”

Whoa this smell, and this dress, Hayley did you put Crissy in this dress?

“Hehe, she’s sexy, eh? Now that we have delivered Crissy, its tiiime to party!!” She grabbed her drink, grabbed Raishin’s hand, stood up and went to dance. Intoxicated Midget and 2 chicks I don’t know stayed behind.

But she couldn’t hear me.

“So, you are Agnis, I’ve heard a lot about you. My name is Jenny.” I looked at the tall blonde which was dressed like a slut. I’m sure that the guys would go crazy over her. I don’t know much about makeup but I think this was too much. I wonder if her makeup would crack if I flicked a snack at her face.

“Hey, what was that?!”

Dunno, maybe a fly.

It seems her make-up was quite robust. The small nut that I flicked couldn’t dent her makeup.

She started talking and I tuned out. Midget was talking with Crissy and the other chick. Why did they come to disturb me?

“Hey are you listening?!”

“Ugh, you should be glad that you get the chance to talk to me.” She arrogantly flipped her hair trying to act pretty.

I’m not, you talk too much, can you leave my quiet space?

“I’m not leaving even if you ask me!”

“Why should I listen to you? Now look here, I’m looking for a boyfriend and you meet the requirements.”

I looked around. Is this a shop? I’m a person not a thing. And why do you think I would say yes?

Your personality is trash though, I pass, but that guy there, he got rejected by Crissy, he might want to give you a shot. I pointed at a guy who was taking shots. He looked miserable.

“Ugh, unbelievable, to think I wasted my time on this.” She got her stuff and walked away. I made a mini [Frozen Ground] and made her slip. I chuckled.

“So, I’m not the only one that you reject.” Crissy seemed to have a drink too much.

“Ok, we’ll get some. We will be back!” They left but they took all their stuff. I think I fell for a trap. I sighed. They know my stance on this and currently Crissy is intoxicated and operating on emotion and not logic. How do I deal with this?

Crissy looked at me as if I had use charm magic on her. This is bad. I tried to break some illusions to undo her state but it seems to be genuine and not some special effect. I think women will be the bane of me. I have no clue on how to deal with them. If Crissy could use charm magic and used it now, I would be toast. I am just like Raishin, quite shallow, but at least I can control myself.

“Hey, can I cuddle your tail?” Deciding that this would be better than anything else I let her. An awkward silence fell.

“Am I ever going to see you again?” I thought about it. There was a very likelihood that the answer would be ‘No’. but would it be a good idea to say that? Do I lie? What are the social rules for this situation? Lying or dealing emotional damage to her. I wish someone would save me. Raishin was dancing and having the time of his life. Greg was telling drunken stories to his harem.

Teppei, where is Teppei? He is sitting across the room taking a shot and giving me a death glare but not doing anything. Why isn’t he doing something! It’s his granddaughter! I wish he would just come over and kick my ass. I can navigate through a conversation pretty well most of the times but in times like this it becomes apparent how socially retarded I am. Why won’t anyone save me?

“Hey Agnis” Crissy closed in. I started to become uncomfortable. And then I saw it. The blur. It had entered this hall.

Crissy, don’t move. I went into stealth with her.

“What is it?”

Shhh. Over there by the door next to that stool, do you see anything?

I didn’t have my eyes active at the moment but I could see it. I pointed. It was as if Crissy had trouble looking at where I was pointing. Is she that intoxicated or… I held her hand and turned her head toward the blur and I could feel she was shocked and she held on to me.

“W...what is that? Did I drink too much?”

So, you can see it too, no you did not. I didn’t have a drop and I can see it. I had seen it before; it seems to be after me or looking for me.

I secretly thanked the Blur for saving me but now I wish it would fuck off.

“Where did it go?!” I turned her head toward the Blur. It seems that it’s not invisible but it has something similar to my passive. It makes it hard to notice even out in the open. Does this mean that my passive doesn’t work on 9t? I need to find something else then. I don’t know why but I have the feeling Hisui could be nearby.

Crissy, this is the kind of stuff I have to deal with. I’m sorry but I don’t know if I will be able to meet you up again. I will be either too busy and several decades will have passed or…I’m going to investigate. Stay here.

She grabbed my sleeve.

“No… I’ll come with you.” I grabbed her with my tail and approached the Blur. I activated my eyes and went through filters to find out what it was. It was a bit shorter than I was. It had big yellow eyes but was a black blur for the rest of its body. It’s as if I can see a human like silhouette behind it but it’s very vague. Even a god doesn’t have an effect on my eyes like this. What is it? I can’t determine its weakness, race, nothing. I followed it. It seemed to be looking around. Is it looking for me or something else?

It spotted Greg but ignored him. So, it’s not Greg. Hey isn’t this thing like a walking shadow? Why isn’t Greg alerted? It also ignored Raishin. It also looked like the humans were unconsciously avoiding the Blur.

“Agnis, I’m scared, what does it want?”

I wish I knew.

I made a shadow clone and let it wander around. The blur noticed it after 2 minutes. It followed my clone and I followed the Blur. I tried to make my clone accidently notice it but my clone had the same problem as Crissy.

“Can you turn my head again? I lost it.” I turned her head toward the Blur.

“It’s following your shadow clone…”

My shadow clone has the same problem as you. It can’t seem to focus on it.

“What will happen if it catches your clone? It moves quite slow.” I made my clone stop and grab a drink. My heart was pounding. The Blur neared my clone. It grabbed my clone and my clone and the Blur seemed as if they got sucked up in a small wormhole and disappeared. I put a tail on Crissy’s mouth because she was about to scream. She seemed to be terrified. More than I was supposed to be. I couldn’t connect to my shadow clone. I don’t know if it’s dead or not. Either way this isn’t good.

Crissy couldn’t calm down. She started to cry again and embraced me. At least now I know that this Blur is bad. Strangely enough this thing was even more unsettling than a god wanting to kill me. I tried to calm Crissy down but I wasn’t calm myself.

It should still be within the same dimension else my [Dimension Anchor] would have protected it. I brought Crissy back to the silent corner.

“Don’t go! You saw what that thing did to your clone! There are a lot of people here, someone might notice it and warn you! If you’re out there nobody can warn you!”

It’s fine Crissy. You need to calm down, you’re hyperventilating.

“How am I supposed to calm down! That thing! It... just killed your clone! Why aren’t you panicking too? Don’t tell me you’ve accepted your death! I can’t accept that!” I’m wondering when this all will be over. I have nothing against Crissy but this just keeps repeating. Maybe I should surround myself with people that don’t care about me.

Teppei had noticed that Crissy was very distressed and he came over. He drew his sword.

“No gramps! He didn’t do anything!” She started sobbing and told Teppei what just happened. I took the opportunity to get out of here and went outside. It was cool and dark. I wish I had an ability to solve problems faster than they appeared.

I saw a fire wisp floating. It was setting some plants on fire.

Oh, hell no! I extinguished it.

A strange crystal ball dropped out of it. It cracked a bit. I picked it up.

Is this a problem or are things working out for us? It will solve the problem of finding out what Shania is up to. There is a problem with this invitation though. It doesn’t sound much like an apology. Apologizing for locking him up in Event Horizon? Why now? It’s quite late for an apology. Is it to silence us? Nobody is supposed to escape that place and we did escape although not fully…

What would we be doing if Ted was still with us? What would he say about this invitation? Would we even have ended up as teachers if he was still with us? What would Ted have been teaching? I sighed.

The Igrini Kingdom is full of bad memories. We might need to go for some closure though… We have never recovered his body… Not that it would matter at this point. Too much time has passed.

I started running some simulations on how to effectively wipe the palace off the map if they piss me off. Might have to save Shania first before I do that. Maybe this palace has useful information stored up. Stuff that only the royal family is supposed to know. There might be a low chance anything relates to Hourai but better safe than sorry.

Next stop Igrini Kingdom! They better choose their words wisely. Although the queen seemed to be cool. Kidnap Shania and the queen then wipe out the capital. Perfect plan. It’s probably easier to start out from scratch rather than the shitshow Igrini is in at the moment. We will be doing them a favor. I don’t care if this turns us into international criminals. I’ve had it with getting pushed around. It’s time to push back.

The next day came and I dragged the hungover Raishin toward the room of the hungover Greg.

Hey alcoholics, wake the fuck up. This is important! We got invited to the Igrini Royal Palace, they are going to apologize to Raishin for locking him up!

I looked around and no trace of a chick ever being here. I was a bit disappointed.

No clue but if they mess this apology up, I’m going to wipe out the capital.
