After Stealing Hero's Mother, I Reincarnated in the Fantasy World!

Chapter 123: Like dragon to the skies

Finally, after all these years of torment, Cale's legendary Bloodline began to show the first signs of evolution!

Immortal Yellow Lightning Monkey!

Ruling the world with one palm, bending mountains and cutting seas with the other!

Cale was one step away from spreading his wings like a dragon and soaring into the stormy skies, wreaking havoc and dominating everywhere!

And that was exactly the moment he found his own Big Sister Amelia.

She was beautiful… and talented.

He and his Older Sister had been separated before he was born and if it wasn't for Master's help, he wouldn't even be able to find her now. Unfortunately Amelia didn't remember anything about their parents either.

Even though they met quite late in life, they were still able to bond. Cale's knowledge of medicine and poisons helped him a lot.

Their relationship had been quite strained at times, and there were many understatements between them, but Cale still respected and loved her as a Big Sister. And maybe even more than just a Big Sister...

He hoped that one day he could stand proudly beside someone as gifted as her.

The Master also said that Amelia's talent in Alchemy was one of the best she had seen in her long life.

And no one could argue with that. Amelia became the youngest Rank 5 Alchemist in the Empire, receiving the honorary position of Senior Alchemy Teacher at the most prestigious academy at the age of 19.

What even geniuses took many decades of study and practice to accomplish, she accomplished in a few years.

And now, at the age of 26, Amelia was on the verge of ascending to Rank 6, becoming the youngest Alchemist in all of History to reach Half Mythic Rank.

What was that if not a heaven-given talent?

And according to Master, his sister Amelia was also the one who could help him take the final step in awakening his legendary Bloodline, making him shine.

But no matter how many times Cale asked how exactly Amelia should do this, the Master only smiled enigmatically without answering him.

Sure, the relationship between him and his Big Sister had deteriorated a bit lately and she had even chased him out of her office the last time he wanted to stop by to see her... but those were just minor things.

How could the unbreakable bond of brother and sister be broken by this?

Cale believed in himself. And he believed in his Master, who believed in him.

In fact, over the years... he had begun to feel for her what a disciple should not feel for his Master.

Cale began to feel strange feelings for this sometimes rude Master... Forbidden feelings that were doomed to be rejected and destroyed by society.

Obscene thoughts of his Master... of her rudeness... or her punishments... often came to his mind and not only that, for which Cale berated himself each time.

She was the one who saved him, how could he repay her with this?

His righteous moral code would not allow him to do so.

Not to mention that even though his Master was divinely beautiful, she was too old to him and he respected her too much to do something like this.

After all, she was like a mother to Cale...

She helped him, took care of him, and raised him. Even his Elder Sister, the only blood relative in this world, was found thanks to his Master.

Somewhere kind, somewhere rude and beautiful like a Fairy.

The Master was also the one who gave Cale back his confidence in himself and his fate.

His fate was incomparable, as high as the mountains and as deep as the sea. The world itself favored his accomplishments.

Normally such words about fate were hard to believe, but his Master had an uncanny ability to sense the invisible currents of the world, which was what helped her find him and gave her confidence in his fate.

After all, her race was... he didn't really know what she was himself.

Even after living all these years with her, Cale didn't know much about her.

He only felt that the appearance he saw was only an illusion and he had never seen her true appearance.

He didn't even know her name, always just calling her 'Master'.

She also often talked to herself, using words he didn't understand...

The Master remained as mysterious and inscrutable to Cale as when they first met.

But she was probably just waiting for him to awaken his legendary Bloodline and justify her belief in him before telling him the truth.

'Master...'

Snapping out of his memories of the past, Cale looked at Rain again.

By now all his past negative emotions had dissipated.

After all these memories, he remembered again who he was and what fate awaited him.

His lowered head rose, his eyes filled with the calmness and confidence of an Immortal.

As if a natural aura of superiority enveloped him, Cale looked at Rain with a certain arrogance.

'Should I tell my Master about this bastard? Knowing the Master, she can definitely deal with him and make him scream in agony...'

But he soon shook his head.

How could he rely on the Master for such matters?

It was something he had to do on his own.

Especially since something deep inside told him that he shouldn't let his beloved Master anywhere near that bastard...

'I'll deal with it myself. Like a man.'

Though it seemed that while Cale was reminiscing about his childhood in the Elven Kingdom and the path he had traveled, a lot of time had passed, in reality even more time had passed...

Ael and Rain were now looking in bewilderment at a frozen Cale, who had been standing still for a couple minutes now with a silly grin on his face, chuckling and mumbling something to himself...

The Elven Princess was particularly surprised.

'Why is Cale smiling and laughing so stupidly as he stares into the empty space in front of him?'

It was a reasonable reaction. It wasn't a novel and Cale was the only one seeing his memories and flashbacks.

Still the rest of them saw only a man whose face passed rapidly from one emotion to another, who either chuckled and muttered to himself with a smile like an idiot or shook his head like a great sage.

'And what were those strange noises and moans he was making while doing it?'

Though Ael couldn't quite hear them, she had a bad feeling about them. Goosebumps ran down her skin.

'Has Cale always been this weird? Is my childhood friend broken?'
