Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Say it Again
Leng Zimo's grip suddenly tightened; this damned girl actually dared to call him GAY. He was going to show her whether he was a real man or not.
Raising his hand to her chin, he kissed her fiercely.
The words Luo Xiaoqian was about to say got stuck in her throat by Leng Zimo's forceful action.
Luo Xiaoqian's mind went blank for a moment.
This was her true first kiss. She and Lu Zihao had been childhood sweethearts for over a decade and their lips had touched before, but at that time, she was just a naive middle school student, content with a simple peck and unwilling to go any further.
Realizing what he was doing, Leng Zimo pushed her away abruptly.
"Now, you can get out!"
He must have been crazy with anger to kiss her just to prove his orientation!
Without the support of his arms, Luo Xiaoqian immediately collapsed to the ground like a pile of mud.
"My chest… it hurts so much…"
Now, she was in agonizing pain all over.
Her heart was pounding quickly, and her chest felt so tight she thought she would suffocate. Luo Xiaoqian beat her chest in pain.
She felt like she was going to die.
"Please, save… save me…"
Leng Zimo looked down at her from above, watching her clutch her chest in agony, his brows drawing tighter and tighter.
If this went on, she really might die.
He pulled her up from the ground and held her in his arms.
...
...
When Luo Xiaoqian opened her eyes again, it was already noon the next day.
Her head was somewhat stuffy and painful, and her whole body ached, as if she had just fought a battle.
Looking at the extravagant chandelier overhead, it took her a moment to figure out what was happening.
After a short while, she suddenly remembered something, sat up quickly, and looked behind her.
Thankfully, there was only a pillow behind her.
Leng Zimo was no longer there!
Luo Xiaoqian hastily wrapped herself tight in the blanket, her gaze swiftly scanning the surroundings.
The bedroom was very quiet, the bathroom door was ajar, and the lights were off.
In the living room, it was also silent, without a sound.
That man seemed to be gone.
She let out a slight sigh of relief and then immediately cursed aloud.
"Leng Zimo, you scum…"
She stopped halfway through her curse.
Wasn't all of this her own doing?
Although she didn't remember much about the previous night's events, she knew that her condition was obviously because there was something wrong with the water she drank.
That substance couldn't have been meant for her; blame it on her own bad luck.
Besides, Leng Zimo had been refusing her at first; in the end, it was she who begged him!
Objectively speaking, he actually rescued her.
Pressing her still aching temples, she suddenly remembered something, sat up quickly, and looked around the room once more.
By the bedside, her clothes were nowhere to be seen.
