Chapter 43 - What If (1)
Ever since Zang Ya admitted that he regarded An Yun as a pet, An Yun felt that Zang Ya’s actions had become more wilful, and sometimes even made him feel a little embarrassed.
For example, at this time, An Yun was laying down and taking a nap, holding Snowball in his arms, which was the Persian cat they got from Chen Ming.
Snowball was a very casual and peaceful kitten. After being given to Zang Ya by his owner, he was a little panicked when he came to a strange place.
But soon, when the cat discovered that this place was better than the place where it originally stayed, and the people here were also very friendly to it, and it could eat meat every meal, it became a lot more comfortable.
What Snowball liked the most now was to go out and patrol his territory every day, and then come back to stay next to that sweet-smelling, soft human, accept his feeding, and then cuddle up with him.
An Yun looked at the cat in his arms that kept rubbing against him, and still felt it was a bit funny. He touched the cat’s head, and there was a smile on his lips. “You! I’ve heard that cats are antisocial, and I’ve never seen a kitten as clingy as you.”
Snowball looked up at An Yun and meowed softly.
An Yun smiled softly.
Soon, there were footsteps outside the door.
Snowball seemed to sense something. His ears turned and he turned to look at the door. Then he jumped out of An Yun’s arms and ran to the table not far away.
An Yun looked at Snowball’s series of actions and had some guesses about the person coming. He turned to look at the door, and sure enough, he saw Zang Ya striding in.
Zang Ya was wearing light clothes at this time, and there were still some water stains on his hair. It looked like he had just returned from outside and had taken a shower.
He didn’t know what Zang Ya was doing this time. He was gone for three days. An Yun thought it would take a few more days to see him, but he didn’t expect that he would be back today.
When An Yun saw Zang Ya, he didn’t know what he thought of. He immediately got up from his bed and wanted to get down and walk out.
“Young master.”
An Yun wanted to go out, but unfortunately Zang Ya grabbed his waist when he passed by, and then said to him, “I want to take a nap first, let’s do it together.”
An Yun wanted to refuse, but unfortunately Zang Ya never gave him any room to refuse.
Zang Ya pushed An Yun back to lay down on the couch, and then lay down on it himself, his movements were particularly natural and smooth.
When An Yun felt embarrassed, Zang Ya reached out and hugged An Yun into his arms, and even moved closer to him, hugging him like a pillow.
An Yun suddenly became as stiff as a stone sculpture. No matter how many times this happened, he would always feel embarrassed.
Zang Ya patted him and comforted him, “Sleep well and don’t make trouble.”
An Yun looked at Zang Ya who had closed his eyes and slept, and felt a little unhappy. He said this as if he didn’t want to sleep well.
An Yun looked at Zang Ya, staring at him with slightly rounded eyes, but still able to see his amazingly beautiful features, and was a little curious about what his mother looked like. He had been in this house for so long, and until now he had only seen Zang Ya’s father. He didn’t even know what Zang Ya’s mother looked like.
It was still summer now, and although An Yun could tolerate the heat, an ice basin was placed in the house because of Zang Ya’s arrival.
The room was cool, but Zang Ya’s embrace was a bit warm. Coupled with the wind blowing from the open window, An Yun gradually felt a little drowsy.
An Yun yawned and actually fell asleep.
However, after An Yun fell asleep, Zang Ya unconsciously pulled the person closer to his arms, hugging him like a pillow.
The two masters inside fell asleep, and the maid guarding outside wisely lowered the curtain in the middle, hugged the cat next to her who wanted to continue to move closer to the bed, and then took the cat away.
Through the hazy gauze curtains, in the room where the sun light touched warmly, there were only two shallow breaths left.
.
The maids stayed outside, doing their own embroidery work, and listened to what was going on inside at any time.
The little maids were sent outside, each doing their own thing. The movements of their hands were extremely light, trying not to make the slightest sound so as not to disturb the two people sleeping peacefully inside.
For a moment, the yard was quiet, except for the sound of the maids sweeping the floor with brooms and the friction between the brooms and the ground.
This quiet afternoon that made everyone feel sleepy lasted for a long time, and was then broken by the noise outside the door.
Those sounds became louder and louder as time went by, and when they were finally heard clearly, the courtyard door was also being knocked.
“Dong dong dong!” The knock on the door was impatient and loud.
This sound was particularly abrupt in the quiet courtyard. The maids were a little panicked and curious. They didn’t know who had the courage to do this in front of the young master of the Zang family.
While everyone was thinking about it, they saw that Qing Yue had put down her work, and then quickly walked towards the door with two little maids.
Qing Yue didn’t ask who the person was, but asked the maid who was following her to open the door, and then met the person standing at the door.
After seeing the person clearly, Qing Yue’s slightly angry face froze in an instant, the disgust in her eyes flashed away, and she quickly changed to her usual respectful expression, and shouted, “Young Master You.”
The visitor was Mrs. You’s brother’s son, You Mingtang.
