After Dressing Up As a Little Fulang

Chapter 29 - Danger (1)

When Zang Ya heard the official’s question, he glanced at the dancing dancer twice more, as if to confirm something.

The dancer thought he was looking at her, so when she danced toward him, her eyes and movements were a little more charming, and her movements and expressions revealed her seductive intentions.

The official looked at Zang Ya’s particularly interested expression and felt extremely happy in his heart. He rubbed his hands with joy and looked at Zang Ya, saying excitedly, “Young master, are you attracted to that dancing girl? If you like her, you could have her come up to accompany you later, and you could also let her stay in your room to wait for orders at night.”

Zang Ya seemed to have finished confirming. Hearing the excitement in the official’s tone, he turned his head and looked in his direction.

Looking at the fat official with big ears, that man blinked his eyes, which were much smaller than his big face, staring straight at Zang Ya, with the light of expectation shining in them.

Even though he usually showed no emotion, Zang Ya felt a little disgusted at that moment. He stepped back, then looked at the official and asked calmly, “Is your dancer team very poor?”

The official was stunned. An unexpected question had suddenly appeared, and he didn’t know how to answer it for a moment.

However, he could come to receive Zang Ya and his father, he was not ordinary person. After a moment of confusion, he quickly came back to his senses and asked Zang Ya, “Why did the young master say this? The dancing girls in my house are all here. We spent a lot of money to tame them, and they were carefully selected in terms of body shape and appearance.”

Zang Ya raised his eyebrows, suddenly sneered, and said, “I am afraid that you have skimped on other things; otherwise, the makeup on the dancer’s face wouldn’t be falling off. There are still many pimples on it.”

The official was startled and hurriedly looked at the dancers. Unfortunately, his eyesight wasn’t as good as Zang Ya’s, and he couldn’t see what Zang Ya was referring to.

Zang Ya’s voice was not quiet, but it was still quieter than the sound of the music instruments present. However, after he finished speaking, the dancer who was still ogling Zang Ya just moments before seemed to pause.

The official thought that Zang Ya was dissatisfied and turned around to explain. As a result, Zang Ya had already stood up and saluted Zang Ke next to him, “Father, the son is not feeling well and wants to go back to rest early.”

Zang Ke raised his head and looked at him. After all, he couldn’t see any emotion on his son’s face. In the end, he could only wave his hand and said, “Go, you must be tired after a long day’s journey today.”

Zang Ya nodded, then turned to look at the official who was entertaining them and cupped his hands toward him, “I’m sorry.”

The official quickly returned the salute and asked the boy standing next to him to take Zang Ya to rest. However, after Zang Ya left, he hesitated and still did not arrange for beautiful girl and shuanger to follow him.

When Zang Ya’s figure disappeared, the official picked up the wine glass again and looked at the graceful dancers. His eyes were completely unable to focus on their exquisite bodies and all fell on their faces.

Staring at them, the official felt that he seemed to see the powder falling from their faces as Zang Ya said. But about the faces covered with acne under the powder puffs, he seemed not to see them.

The official rubbed his eyes. He felt confused. Why was he hallucinating while listening to people talking?

.

Zang Ya was led all the way to his residence by his attendants, and after he ordered someone to bring him bath water, he sat down on the couch outside and half-reclined, waiting for what was about to happen next.

His father said that the gangsters were very cunning, and Zang Ya felt that if they were really as cunning as the rumours claimed, they would not miss this great opportunity to attack the only son of the Zang family when he was alone in his room.

Thinking of the dancer he had just seen and the rough clothes of that person, Zang Ya couldn’t help but twirl his fingers, recalling the soft and smooth touch when he pinched An Yun last time.

He had to admit that he still missed that shuanger very much.

Just as Zang Ya was thinking about controlling the frequency of his heartbeat when he went back and pinching An Yun’s face more, extremely subtle footsteps sounded outside the door.

“Who?!”

The people outside paused for a moment, then continued, “Young master, we are the servants of the mansion, and we are here to bring you hot water for a bath.”

Zang Ya curled his lips slightly, put his hand on the handle of the short blade next to him, and called toward the door, “Come in!”

Soon, the door in front of Zang Ya opened, and two men dressed as servants walked in carrying a bathtub.

Zang Ya watched the two of them carry the bucket full of water to the compartment with steady steps and couldn’t help but admire, “You two are so strong. I’m afraid it would take four people to lift this bucket filled with water, but you only need two.”

One of them looked up at Zang Ya and, stretching his hands into his sleeves with a proud smile on his face, said, “Others can’t lift it. That’s because they are incompetent. But we brothers are different. We are strong, so we can move quickly.”

After saying that, the man quickly pulled out a dagger from his cuff and stabbed at Zang Ya. At the same time, he shouted, “Of course, I can kill people faster.”

The man felt that his speed was extremely fast and no one could stop him at such a close distance.

When he killed the only son of the Zang family here, and when Zang Ke was in grief, he planned to go after Zang Ke, then this rich land would become ownerless, and the people above would definitely fight to capture it. In a mess of bloody war between the powerhouse, they could sneak something out.

However, the man had a good idea but made a mistake in his calculations. Zang Ya was not that easy to deal with.

Zang Ya pulled out his dagger and blocked the sword aimed at him. He flipped his other hand and shot a sleeve arrow, which went straight into the man’s heart.

The man’s companion, waiting for a last-ditch attack and paying attention to the movement outside, did not expect that the young man who was supposed to fall to the ground did not die. Instead, his companion fell limply.

The man’s eyes widened immediately, then he looked at Zang Ya and pulled out his knife to slash at him, “I’m going to kill you.”

As the man yelled, there was a banging sound outside. The house that had been immersed in the sound of musical instruments was suddenly replaced by the clashing of weapons.
