After Being Expelled From the Sect, the Master and Senior Sisters Regretted It for Life

Chapter 4:

Chapter 4:

Even Fairy Baihe, along with everyone else present, was stunned by Mo Liusu’s coldness.

A master being so heartless toward their disciple was truly unprecedented.

“He’s digging his own grave. He has no one to blame but himself!”

Tang Qi could barely contain his excitement, clenching his fists tightly to suppress the urge to shout in triumph.

Now that his greatest obstacle had been removed, with his talent and cunning, it was only a matter of time before he crushed everyone beneath him, turning them into his puppets.

As this thought crossed his mind, his gaze toward Mo Liusu turned unrestrainedly greedy, filled with possessiveness.

What a breathtaking woman she was—so cold, so proud, the very poison to every man’s heart.

If, one day, he could shatter the pride and nobility on her face, subjugate her beneath him, and make her cry and beg, it would be worth dying for.

However, his expression quickly darkened.

He noticed Mo Liusu staring blankly at the All-Seeing Mirror, where Zhou Tong’s silhouette was reflected.

The sight filled him with an inexplicable disgust.

“Looking won’t change anything. That man is utterly ruined and can no longer compete with me!”

Yet, for some reason, anger churned within Tang Qi. He yearned to utterly dominate Mo Liusu, forcing her to look at no one but him.

“Baihe, where do you think you’re going?”

Mo Liusu’s voice suddenly rang out as she noticed Baihe Fairy preparing to leave.

“This journey is fraught with danger. Zhou Tong is still a junior of ours, so I thought I’d accompany him for part of the way,” Baihe Fairy replied calmly.

Mo Liusu’s eyes trembled at those words, and a piercing glint flashed in her gaze.

“Absolutely not!”

“Why not?”

Baihe Fairy’s expression shifted slightly, a hint of anger surfacing. Severing ties was one thing, but to leave no room for decency was too much.

“Baihe, you’d better remember your place. You are an elder of the sect, yet you wish to protect a traitor? What kind of example does that set?”

As her words fell, Mo Liusu unleashed an even stronger aura, overwhelming Baihe Fairy and causing the other elders to change their expressions in alarm.

It was clear that Mo Liusu’s reputation as a top-tier prodigy was well-deserved. Among her peers, she was unmatched, and even many of the older generation viewed her with respect.

With a single palm strike, Baihe Fairy was forced to retreat, her face pale as she spat out blood, clearly no match for Mo Liusu.

“Take her down!”

At Mo Liusu’s command, members of the Enforcement Hall moved in, restraining Baihe Fairy on either side to prevent her from making any further moves.

“You…!”

Baihe Fairy trembled with rage, but she was utterly powerless to resist.

“Listen well, all of you!” Mo Liusu declared coldly. “From this day forward, anyone who dares to secretly aid or protect that traitor will face the full force of the sect’s rules, with no mercy!”

Her proclamation left the elders exchanging uncertain glances, all falling into a heavy silence.

“Isn’t this a bit excessive?” an elderly man murmured to himself.

“Hmph! It was his choice. Doesn’t he think he’s so capable? Today, I’ll make him understand that without the sect’s protection, he’s nothing more than a drifting weed, trampled by anyone who wishes to!

Even if he regrets his decision and begs for my forgiveness, he’ll have to crawl to me, kowtowing every step of the way, and then serve as a lowly laborer for three years before I even consider it!”

Mo Liusu’s voice was cold and steady, not particularly loud, but through the All-Seeing Mirror, her words were broadcasted clearly to everyone, including Zhou Tong.

This was the outcome she desired—to shatter Zhou Tong’s pride with cruel reality, forcing him to grovel for survival, never daring to resist her again.

Yet, in the reflection of the All-Seeing Mirror, Zhou Tong’s figure remained tall and steady, his steps firm and unwavering as he moved further and further away.

“Let’s see how long you can keep up the act. By now, you must already be trembling in fear,” Mo Liusu thought to herself, certain that Zhou Tong would succumb the moment danger struck.

“Without my protection, you’re nothing!” she said with conviction, confident that Zhou Tong would struggle at every step after leaving the sect.

Suddenly, within the reflection of the All-Seeing Mirror, other disciples began appearing around Zhou Tong. Their numbers grew steadily, drawing the attention of many elders.

“What are these kids up to? Are they planning to kick him while he’s down?” an older elder speculated with a serious expression. He had seen too many such instances in the past.

“See? That ingrate can’t even make it out of the sect!” Mo Liusu sneered, her tone dripping with satisfaction as she glanced at Baihe Fairy.

But in the next moment, the smirk froze on her face.

With a loud thud, over a hundred disciples dropped to their knees in unison. Their eyes shone with gratitude as they gazed at Zhou Tong.

“Senior Brother, we owe you a great debt. Please accept our bow!”

The Judgement Hall fell silent, and even Zhou Tong was momentarily stunned.

“What debt do you owe me?” Zhou Tong asked, confused.

“Senior Brother, you may have forgotten, but when I lost control while practicing my sword technique, it was you who saved me and protected my life…”

“And me as well! I remember when I was just a mortal, and my parents were gravely ill. It was you who stepped in to help us and guided me onto the path of cultivation…”

“Senior Brother saved me thirteen times during the beast tide. Have you forgotten, Senior Brother?”

“Senior Brother taught me alchemy, helping me achieve enlightenment. Such kindness can never be repaid!”

One by one, the disciples recounted past events, their words revealing Zhou Tong’s numerous acts of kindness. The memories they shared painted a vivid picture of Zhou Tong’s silent contributions, now finally brought to light.

“And me! Senior Brother helped me too!”

More disciples were drawn to the scene, stepping forward to kneel and pay their respects to Zhou Tong, each one expressing sincere gratitude and admiration.

For the first time, the elders realized just how much Zhou Tong had done for the sect. A heavy silence fell over them as they reflected on the young man’s selfless deeds.

“It’s all in the past. There’s no need to bring it up now,” Zhou Tong said, waving his hand dismissively. “I’ve left the sect, and the road ahead is long. Farewell.”

“Senior Brother, please wait! Allow us to accompany you on your journey!”

The disciples stood and gathered around Zhou Tong, their devotion unwavering, unwilling to let him leave alone.

“Let’s see who dares!”

Mo Liusu’s furious voice erupted through the divine projection.

“Anyone who dares to approach that traitor will face the full wrath of the sect’s rules!”

Her proclamation hung heavy in the air. Many expected the disciples to back away from Zhou Tong in fear.

But the reality defied everyone’s expectations.

“Senior Brother saved my life. Now that he’s in trouble, how could I not help him? If the sect forbids it, then I’ll leave the sect as well. And if that’s still not enough, then you may as well kill me now!”

The leading disciples spoke in unison, their voices resolute. The others echoed their sentiments without hesitation.

“We owe Senior Brother a debt of gratitude and will repay it without regret!”

The voices of the youths blended into a thunderous chorus, reverberating throughout the Judgment Hall.

Mo Liusu’s face turned ashen, her body trembling uncontrollably.

Even someone as powerful as her couldn’t punish so many disciples at once. Doing so would bring devastating consequences upon herself.

What infuriated her most was the realization that Zhou Tong had secretly won over so many disciples without her knowledge.

This was clearly a premeditated act!
