Accidentally Reincarnated in Cultivation World

Chapter 139: Skills, Techniques, Arts

He expanded the interface for [Skills].

[Heat Vision] – 1000 SP

[Ultra Instinct] – 1000 SP

==================

A dizzying variety filled the list — from the previously listed Fireball and the others, to advanced powers like Heat Vision and even Ultra Instinct.

Yu Xuan's fingers itched to spend his points instantly. The temptation was strong, but he forced himself to calm down.

He couldn't waste his Shop Points without first surveying everything. Martial Techniques, Cultivation Techniques, Magic Arts, he needed to see the bigger picture before choosing.

Besides, he still couldn't tell whether the current prices were reasonable or inflated. After all, compared to the outrageous prices of [Artifacts], even Heat Vision at 1000 SP looked like a bargain.

He closed the Skills tab and opened the [Cultivation Techniques] section. A new panel appeared.

==================

[Strong Earth Method] – 100 SP

[Sunfire Sutra] – 100 SP

.

.

[Starlight Technique] – 500 SP

[Celestial Eclipse] – 100,000 SP

[Path of Asura] – 100,000 SP

==================

Yu Xuan frowned slightly. So the ceiling here is also 100,000 SP…

His own cultivation method was system given and already extraordinary, but a bold thought flickered in his mind — what if he could stack these techniques, fusing them into something greater?

Then there was definitely some hidden cap on value. It didn't appear in the Skills list, but both Artifacts and Cultivation Techniques clearly 100,000 SP meant something.

"Eventually," he muttered to himself, "everything will be revealed."

With that, he turned his attention to the remaining sections: Martial Techniques and Magic Arts.

Yu Xuan opened the [Martial Techniques] section.

[Martial Scripture of Limitless Hands] – 100,000 SP

==================

Yu Xuan's breath slowed. Some of the names carried weight that echoed through his very bones. World Splitting Kick? He didn't dare imagine what kind of battlefield technique that was.

But curiosity pushed him further — he tapped on [Magic Arts].

==================

The last two made his eyes tremble. Time… and the Stars themselves…

At that moment, Yu Xuan finally thought that, this System wasn't just a helper. It was a gate. A dangerous one.

Behind that gate lay things that brushed against the realm of gods and demons.

He still remembered that Goddess, but one thing was certain: this wasn't the System he was supposed to receive.

And somehow, in a twist bordering on comedy, he had ended up reincarnated in a cultivation world instead.

Now came the difficult part deciding what to buy. Cultivation Techniques and Martial Techniques could be set aside for now; he already had solid foundations in both, and adding more would simply mean integrating them into his existing methods to enhance versatility.

That left Skills, Magic Arts, and Artifacts as his primary choices.

His eyes flicked to the corner of the interface.

[Balance: 3727 SP]

Yu Xuan finally made his decision.

From the Artifacts section, he selected 100 Qi Replenishing Potions. The moment he confirmed, a series of messages appeared in front of him:

[Storing 100 Qi Replenishing Potions]

[Inventory not detected]

[Creating Inventory]

[1... 2... 3... Success]

[Current Inventory Capacity: 1000 Units]

[Using 1 Unit to store the Qi Replenishing Potions]

[Note: Multiple identical items are stored as a single unit.]

"Hahahaha!" Yu Xuan burst into laughter, genuinely amused. "After nearly a fourteen years, I finally get an inventory!"

"That was really long." said some mysterious people in the background checking the chapter number.

He quickly caught himself and coughed into his hand. "Ahem… I'm fourteen now. I shouldn't get so happy over such mundane things. It's too late for that anyway."

Of course, he knew it was partly his fault, he had never bought any artifact before. But could he really be blamed? Back then, he didn't even have enough points to waste, and the only way to earn them was through those elusive Quests.

And those damn Quests… came and went as they pleased, giving him no chance to farm points properly.

His balance shifted.

[Balance: 3527 SP]

Without hesitation, Yu Xuan purchased two costly skills: [Heat Vision] (SS+) and [Ultra Instinct] (SS+).

The moment he acquired them, a surge of excitement rushed through him. He also noticed something new when skills were purchased, their grade appeared beside them.

"So… a thousand SP is roughly the price of an SS+ grade skill," he muttered, already starting to compare values and chart out the system's pricing scheme.

With those two skills, 2000 SP vanished from his balance, leaving him with only 1527 SP.

Next, he turned to the Magic Arts section and purchased three lower-tier spells for experimentation: [Light Orb], [Minor Healing Spell], and [Shadow Veil].

His balance dropped again.

[Balance: 1512 SP]

The main reason Yu Xuan bought those spells was simple, to test them. This was a cultivation world, and while the [Magic Swordsmanship of the Avalon Imperial Family] worked just fine, he wasn't certain ordinary spells would.

But there was also his physique: the Darkness & Light Origin Physique.

He specifically chose those spells because they might resonate with his mysterious body, possibly granting them an unexpected boost.

The [Shadow Veil](E) aligned with his darkness aspect, while [Light Orb](E) and the [Minor Healing Spell](E) might draw strength from all elemental affinity.

Though he thought healing required the wood element, perhaps light could fulfill some role, he did not worry about that, as he had plenty of time to explore his affinities.
