Chapter 5: Scene: The Inner Game — Konsoon’s Hunt
📜
Inside the storm-lit ruins of Forbes Academy's third test stage, chaos reigned. Students and rogue mages clashed in hidden corners — magic traps, betrayal, and secret kills all to claim the final key.
A lone figure stepped through the shadows — Konsoon, calm as ever, wiping blood from his blade. In front of him, a man named Sanji staggered, clutching his chest.
Sanji (spitting blood): "What? How? How did you find me…?"
Konsoon tilted his head, smiling like it was a joke.
Konsoon: "Not very difficult, was it, Sanji? Cheaters always leave the easiest trails."
Sanji's eyes widened in terror.
Sanji: "How do you know I was cheating— using my high-tier magic—?!"
Konsoon stepped closer, wiping rain off his cheek.
Konsoon: "Cheat, kill, lie — do whatever you want. I don't care. But tonight, I need your identity."
Behind Kon, Hazo appeared, monstrous eyes gleaming.
Hazo: "As you wish, my Lord."
He lunged forward — CRUNCH. Sanji's scream died in Hazo's throat as his flesh vanished. A heartbeat later, Hazo shifted shape — now wearing Sanji's face perfectly.
Konsoon turned away, his eyes cold.
Konsoon: "Handle the rest."

⚔️ A New Arena — The Next Stage
Konsoon stepped through a rune gate into the third arena — an ancient garden under moonlight. There, three survivors waited:
Carmila, a shy mage girl.
A burly swordsman named Samide.
Another suspicious mage — the real Sanji's double-cross partner.
Samide pointed his sword.
Samide: "Who the hell are you, punk?!"
Konsoon didn't answer. He just smiled.
Konsoon: "Sword Style: Blood Cutter."
A slash so fast Samide only saw a red flash before his chest split open — he fell without a word.
The second man — the fake Sanji's ally — staggered back, raising his wand.
Fake Sanji: "You bastard—!"
Another flick — Kon's blade opened his throat.
Only Carmila remained, frozen against the wall.
Carmila: "No! Leave me alone! Please—!"
Konsoon stepped closer, his sword vanishing into mist. He lifted two fingers instead — gathering dark red light.
Konsoon: "…I guess I have no choice."
She shut her eyes, bracing for death — but CLANG. A gloved hand stopped Kon's fingers mid-air.
A tall, handsome man stood behind Carmila — his cloak rippling.
Namoji, right hand of the Academy's Lord Kamjio.
Namoji: "…So it's you. The hidden rat Kamjio warned about."
Konsoon lowered his hand, unfazed.
Konsoon: "Ruin? I'm not ruining anything. I'm enjoying the game. You should try it too, you know?"
Namoji's eyes narrowed.
Namoji: "I entered this test myself for this exact reason — to sniff out scum like you. The Academy won't tolerate spies."
Konsoon's smile turned sharp.
Konsoon: "Spy? I'm not a spy, old man. I'm here for something bigger than you'd ever approve of."
A sudden rumble. Behind Namoji, an explosion rocked the gate. Konsoon used it — stepped back — slammed a hidden rune. A steel door sealed Namoji inside the garden.
Namoji: "Konsoon! What are you planning—?!"
Konsoon (calmly): "…Not your concern. Goodbye."

⚔️ Clash in the Shadows — The High-Tier Duel
Outside the garden, Konsoon stepped onto cracked stone — where two elite fighters, Noki and Nanji, blocked his path.
Noki: "You're not killing anyone else. This ends now, spy."
Konsoon sighed, brushing rain from his hair.
Konsoon: "If you don't mind… can I just leave?"
Nanji: "You think we'll let you?"
He lunged — "Sword Style: Blade of Wind Fire Amber!" — a spiral of flame and wind struck where Kon stood, but Kon flipped aside.
Noki raised her crystal blade.
Noki: "Sword Style: Whisper of Glass!"
Shards of glass spun toward Kon like shrapnel — but he parried them easily.
Konsoon: "Kind of you both… very impressive. But what about my turn?"
He lifted a hand — his fingers dripped blood.
Konsoon: "Sword Style: Blood Needle."
Blood shot like arrows — SHUNK. Nanji staggered, a needle through his arm. Noki lunged — her sword clashing with Kon's own.
Noki: "Sword Style: Glass Shield!"
But Kon laughed — his sword warped, turning into pure crimson light.
Konsoon: "Sword Style: Nonji Tanoki, 41st Form."
A whirl of blood struck Noki's blade — CRACK. Blood wrapped her wrist, draining her power. She fell to her knees, weak.
Nanji: "NO — Noki!!"
He roared — "Ultimate Wind Blaze: 70th Form — Final Blow!"
A cyclone erupted — stone flying — but when the dust cleared, Kon was behind him, untouched.
Konsoon: "…Your wind style is strong. But it can't cut blood."
He thrust — stab — Nanji gasped as the blade punched through his heart.
Nanji: "…You… monster…"
He fell.
Noki stared up, trembling.
Noki: "…No… Nanji…"
Konsoon turned to her, cold.
Konsoon: "I only needed one. I don't want to waste you too."
Victor stepped from the shadows, unlocking an ancient door — beside him, Hazo appeared, still wearing Sanji's stolen face.
Konsoon: "Fuko — you're up."
Fuko stepped forward, spinning three glowing blades.
Fuko: "Ultimate Amber Form — Three Sword Style!"
Inside the hidden chamber, a massive Beast roared — a creature guarding the Tsukime Gem fragment. Fuko's blades slashed its limbs — Konsoon's eyes flashed red.
Konsoon: "Blood Art, 79th Form — Destruction of Destiny!"
A shockwave of blood magic ripped the Beast apart. Its last scream shook the walls — then silence.
Konsoon stepped forward, plucking the shining shard from its heart.
Konsoon: "Half of Tsukime… two shards left."
His smile was gentle — and monstrous.
Konsoon: "…And this world will drown."
