Absolutely Do Not Touch Eldmia Egga

Chapter 7: Really Had to Do It to Feel Right

Ogwen's alleys were complicated.

Even without that, recently as the population increased and newly built buildings increased too, it started tangling and became more complicated. At the least, the wide streets were maintaining a rather clean appearance, but if one strayed out from there even a little, there were rather a lot of alleys no different from a slum.

The place I was walking on now was that sort of a road. While humming and walking along the deserted alleyway, I stood still at a crossroad and asked.

"This way?"

"Don't kill me. I was wrong. Please don't kill me."

Then the guy that had his hair caught in my right hand and gotten literally dragged along the ground begged. I'd been using the guy that became the main culprit of this event, the guy that got beat up by me a month ago as a street navigator with punishment for aggravated contempt as an excuse, but it just wasn't satisfying.

"You act like I killed someone. Did I kill you guys? All I did was break a few bones, didn't I? So, this way you say?"

He spat out a pained moan when I raised up his head. The reason I was dragging him along with my hand was simple. Because I cleanly parted two of his shin bones to stop him from running. Like that, the guys who confidently entered the deserted alleyways trusting only their head count turned into half-cripples.

He at first thunderously screamed, but him quieting down in front of a bigger violence and pain was already 5 minutes in the past.

"Hick… hick… don't kill m…"

But the result of that being dissociated replies wasn't welcome. For me who already was dissatisfied at the fact that I was spending my time on something like this, this was something even more unwelcome.

From the moment I'd heard the expletives about Asileye, I'd already long thrown away the plan of real-fight experience. I wanted to implant my creed into these disgusting bastards as fast as possible and go home.

"The reason I left your hands alone is for you to point the way. So there's no need for both to be fine. Wanna break one?"

"Hiick! I, it's that way! Not this way but that way!"

It didn't take even 20 seconds to break apart the four's shins. As easily enough to boast anywhere, I could now use body strengthening as naturally as breathing. It was a level where one couldn't do anything with just being four, five years older.

The thing called body strengthening through aura was that sort of a thing. So long as one could properly learn it, even a 10-years old child could kill a monster and pulverize a person's bones. Those who trained a little could also follow my movements, but they couldn't endure the impact. But even more than that, since I wasn't activating it with refined aura but activating it with magic power, everything from even the power output was different. Even when I adjusted it with my still-growing body in mind, this much was possible.

Because I had that much combat power and also had a mental age over 30, originally I planned to simply feed them a single fist to face and stomach each and reasonably end my real-fight experience.

Until I heard Asileye expletives, that was.

That absolutely wasn't done with a simple goal of provocation. They weren't words picked up somewhere and spat out just for cursing, but were words of sons of bitches who knew exactly what they meant. They were bastards who, if I was weak, if I really couldn't fight against them, and if Asileye had no combat capabilities, would have immediately put them to action.

"I shouldn't have done such a thing~ but I didn't know that truth~"

When I murmured and sang to brush off the unpleasant feeling, the body clutched by its hair spasmed and sang along.

"Hick… hick… n, now what did it m, matter to regret…"

"I became~ a fool~"

"Huwuuung!"

Seeing how it made him regret his mistake and wail this much even from singing just a few lines, it clearly was a real masterpiece song.

"Regret is painful for longer the faster it is."

So why would you insult the sole support of a parents-less orphan?

When we walked on just a little like that, a completely unexpected place appeared before my eyes.

"What the. A warehouse?"

"The fuck are you bas…eh?"

"Z, Zigmel?"

It was a completely aged and worn-down warehouse. Not a very big one, but a warehouse one absolutely couldn't call a little. Was it a property of some failed company? Seeing how it wasn't kept up very well, that probably was correct. Seeing how the eyes of two guys that were sloppily standing in front of its door dropped onto the guy I was clenching, it looked like I came to the right place. I satisfyingly nodded and then let go of my hand from the head and dusted it off.

A fistful of his ripped-out brown hair fell down.

"You have arrived at your destination. I don't need you, so scram on your own, please."

"T, thank you! Thank you!"

"Who am I?"

"E, Eldmia Egga!"

"What should you do?"

"Absolutely do not touch Eldmia Egga!"

Looked like he wasn't a pebble-headed idiot. When I confirmed the satisfactory educational result and then lightly waved my hand, the guy crawled on the ground and began to run. I did break it apart clean, but he'd have a disability left if unlucky. If his begging wasn't good, he could also end up dying on the ground not long after.

But that's none of my concern. When you babble passing around someone else's relative and whatnot in a world where swords frequently flew, you had to live thankful just for not croaking on the spot.

"You heard?"

"W, what?"

"I said have you heard what your friend Zigmel chattered."

There wasn't an answer.

Since silence was a yes, I immediately jumped forwards and pommeled the two's chins with both hands.

I needed neither stance nor technique or whatnot. They were that level of tiny brats. When I kicked aside the guys that fell without letting off a single scream and opened the warehouse door, ten-ish tiny brats were spread out all over inside the bleak warehouse.

A moldy smell circled. There was something like a window for ventilation on the ceiling, but it seemed like there was a lot of dust enough for that to be not even close to enough. I honestly didn't think that they would be squatting in a place like this, so I was flustered once more. I was really curious if they were simply using an abandoned warehouse or had a backer, but I decided for now to leave that aside.

They had made something similar to a chair with adequately okay-looking wooden boxes in the center, and even from a glance it obviously was a place for the chief bastard to sit in. If that wasn't the chief even when he was sitting at such a place with girls on both sides, then that by itself would be a surprise.

He looked older than the brats I had beaten up. It felt like he was around 18 years-old? Certainly, he was closer to an adult than a child.

But that sort of guy was ordering around those tiny kids and reigning like a king? That guy's comical in his own way.

"You the brat that beat up our kids?"

But at least as fitting a bastard acting as a hooligan's chief, his eyes weren't bad.

"Yeah. I'm him."

When I closed the wide-opened warehouse door and looked around, the brats that were spread out slowly began to gather. 15 excluding the chief and the girls. It was both a big and a small number. None of the brats who first got beat up by me were here. Most likely, they might be scattered out separately like the navigator Zigmel and searching the village.

Then did that mean they were a group with at least over thirty people? It wasn't a small number, but I again put aside the question of just what the guards doing to leave this kind of thing alone.

There was nothing that could be called a weapon on them. If he just hadn't tried to bring in Asileye, he would have lived a peaceful life simply playing a village alleyway-chief.

The saying that a single decision could decide one's entire life must precisely be talking about something like this.

"Real confident there, son of a bitch. But why're you alone?"

"I thought you're a little smart, but are you a pebble-headed idiot? Do you think I made friends with them and came alone? 'Course I made cripples and came alone."

When I realized that the sliver of hope that he might be an owner of an intellect I could converse with was gone and dispiritedly replied, he creased his face. Seeing that face, I could definitely feel it.

However much I was taller and looked more mature than kids my age, I ultimately was an 11-years old. The pressure from my looks probably couldn't help but be lacking due to my young face. That's why they thought of trying to fight as a group despite getting beaten down without even twitching a single finger. On the faces of him and those around him were emotions that found me laughable.

"Is this little bitch not getting the situation? You don't get what's going on now and what you did? Did those bitches not tell you anything?"

"Wow! Friend, your brain might be bad but you are quick with your work!"

"What?"

The downtrend mood skyrocketed. The things they told me were just that their chief was searching for me and them trying to bring in Asileye, but seeing how he was talking like that, that guy must've been the one that gave the instructions about her as I thought. Of course, the chance of Asileye who was working as an adventurer getting caught by this sort of trivial brats was infinitely close to 0, but my creed wasn't something so lukewarm to move only based on probability.

It wasn't 'okay because it didn't happen'. Pulling out the root so they couldn't even think about it was the goal. With a joyful feeling, I took out the practice longsword I had worn on my back and squeezed it in between the warehouse door handles I closed just now.

"What bullshit are you…eh?"

And I directly folded the longsword and created a handmade lock.

With 'ggiigik ggiigik' sound, the longsword folded. I'd already confirmed through past days of training that it'd only bend when forced, and didn't break easily. It honestly was a bit regrettable, but since something at least would come out if I dust these guys' pockets either way, I should adequately get back the repair cost.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Eldmia Egga."

When I blocked the sole exit like that and turned back, the sight of the street hooligans directly petrified came into my eyes. The laughing expressions had disappeared. Instead, doubt and question, and occasional shock were held there.

Because I wasn't kind enough to wait for them, I expanded my leg muscles with magic power as fuel and directly ran towards the chief sitting on top of the hooligan's throne. The distance was approximately 10 meters. At my abrupt running, the stammering hooligans quickly tried to stop me but it was already too late.

Dodging both the grabbing hands and even the idiots trying to block with their bodies, when about 2 meters of distance was left, I flew with all my power.

"And now goodbye you son of a bitch."

Within my accelerated senses, I could see confusion and fear sticking onto the bastard's dumbfounded face.

Fight? I was a bastard that lived to get skilled enough to kill at least a Demon King Army commander. If I was at a level of giving these sorts of bitches a chance to react despite training for 3 years, then I should just die. And because I didn't want to die, I didn't give the bastard even a chance to react and planted a flying kick into his chest.

-Kwajjik!

Rather than a sound, it was closer to a sensation. It was a feeling clear enough for me to easily tell that my feet that even obliterated his rib bones and pierced deep into his chest had passed a shock even to his heart. The thing that directly destroyed the chair and fell backwards wasn't the chief but merely a corpse that had been the chief.

When I looked around after checking the bastard devoid of even a single twitch, all the remaining hooligans left in the warehouse including the girls were frozen at that sight. And as if scripted together, all the eyes turned towards my direction.

"If that bitch actually wasn't the chief and there is the chief among you, raise your hand and say it."

There was no one raising their hand.
