Chapter 1482: Condensed Obliteration Sword Embryo Reappears!

Bang! When the frightening attacks collided with each other, the snow-covered mountains were instantly flattened and the icy blue snowflakes were vaporized. 

Those on the viewing platforms were watching with eyes wide open, focused on the epicenter of the clash.

Jiang Qing'e's all-out attempt was astonishing. Even an ordinary upper seventh-grade Duke would not dare to take this head-on, but clearly, Lu Ruyan and Chi Li were not like that. They all understood that Jiang Qing'e's outburst was meant to buy Li Luo time. When that fearsome sword embryo was completed and struck Chi Li, he would likely be eliminated. Thus, in order to not be left at a disadvantage, they would have to take the opportunity while it was one-versus-two and deal a lasting blow to Jiang Qing'e. It then began to expand, changing from its previous crescent moon shape into a full moon!

Wherever the icy blue moonlight touched, the void immediately froze. In an instant, the Frost Soul Moon Ring's destructive power had been amplified by multiple times and it destroyed several parts of the flame sea.

"Chi Li!" Lu Ruyan shouted.

Chi Li knew what she was getting at, so he roared. His resonant power poured out of him without restraint yet again, right into the Cosmic Star Seal. The Astral Tiger on the surface of the seal started to roar explosively as well.

The two had immediately launched a renewed and strengthened assault, finally overcoming the tenacious liquid sea of flames, pressing forward towards Jiang Qing'e.

Excitement surged within their eyes.

It looked as though their teamwork would finally be able to defeat her!

This was their counterattack and opportunity to emerge victorious.

Their gazes were now directed towards Jiang Qing'e. However, they saw a subtle smile on her beautiful face. The duo's hearts sank as they felt that something wasn't right.

At this moment, the low rumble of a terrifying sword hymn filled their ears.

They raised their heads, and they could see that the archaic sword formation now contained a sword embryo that was coming into existence amidst the chaos. It was like a creature capable of causing the apocalypse was now stirring! Beneath the sword formation was Li Luo in his Heavenly Dragon form, his eyes filled with murderous intent.

Jiang Qing'e had done her best to buy time for him and had endured Lu Ruyan and Chi Li's bullying. Alas, it was now time for him to return the favor. 

"Myriad Resonances Dragon Fang Sword Formation, Four Dragon Fang Swords, Condensed Obliteration Sword Embryo!" Li Luo shouted in his heart. A moment later, the Condensed Obliteration Sword Embryo, which resembled primal chaos, pierced through the air effortlessly. The horrifying sword energy it emitted annihilated everything in its path.

With the augmentation of the middle ninth-grade Heavenly Dragon resonance, the Condensed Obliteration Sword Embryo had far surpassed his previous uses when it came to its spirituality. It wasn’t as strong as the one that had struck Qin Lian, but it had its advantages. As the Sword Embryo arced across the skies, slicing through everything like a beast capable of destroying the world, Chi Li could keenly sense the sharpness of the sword energy despite being a distance away. The hairs on his body all stood on end. He could scarcely believe that Li Luo, an upper second-grade Duke, was capable of something this terrifying.

Chi Li immediately began to retreat and the Cosmic Star Seal above him transformed into an absolute fortress to protect him. 

"How can it be so easy to strike me, Li Luo!" Chi Li bellowed. That attack had basically sapped Li Luo of all his strength, and if he failed to gain an advantage with it, then he would be eliminated for nought.

Chi Li was well aware of this and was doing everything he could to hang on. So long as he survived, Li Luo's plan would fail.

However, just as Chi Li was taking out all his defensive measures against Li Luo's obliterating strike, the latter sneered. 

"Hit you? You aren't worthy." As his words landed, the Sword Embryo suddenly turned and lanced towards Lu Ruyan's position. 

The crowd was in an uproar. It looked as though Li Luo had never planned to eliminate Chi Li in the first place! His target had been Lu Ruyan all along!
