Chapter 115: At Home
```
Dinner was conducted amid an eerie atmosphere of hushed whispers, with Xiao Buli sitting in a corner seat, facing Wu Tao at the same table.
Next to Wu Tao was Liu Xing, beside Liu Xing the author Bai Yunfei, and next to Bai Yunfei sat Xiao Buli.
Everyone was eating their food in no particular hurry while discussing what they had planned for the next day.
"So it seems you are all planning to take the day off?" Xiao Buli swallowed a piece of fruit from his salad and asked.
"Of course, time waits for no one. Honestly, I'm not yet familiar with those inner strength practices." Wu Tao glanced warily at the surveillance camera in the hall, "Previously I've only mastered the basics of inner strength, but if possible, I'm most interested in trying out the Pure Yang Heart Method. If it could be brought into reality, I imagine its power would be quite impressive."
Liu Xing nodded, "I also need to practice my swordsmanship properly."
After saying this, he glanced at Xiao Buli and saw his furrowed brows, which looked somewhat strange, "What's wrong? Isn't it you who suggested that we should get familiar with those skills in real life as much as possible?"
Xiao Buli nodded, "I did say that, but I never thought everyone would choose the same Sunday to take a leave. It's a bit too obvious, and I'm afraid it might raise suspicions."
Hearing this, everyone else was startled, only then remembering that they rarely took days off. Usually, most people would stay in the company over the weekend. Taking a leave together indeed seemed abrupt.
Bai Yunfei suggested, "Should we hurry and talk about it, to schedule our leaves separately?"
But Xiao Buli shook his head, "Let's not do that. Gatherings themselves are risky. Besides," he added, "the other teams' members are less likely to do the same. Our group, just a few people, shouldn't attract too much attention."
Dingling, dingling, dingling!!! A harsh alarm clock sound abruptly awakened Xiao Buli from his sleep. He looked around in alarm, surprised to find himself at home. After a few seconds of recollection, he remembered that he had returned from the company the night before.
He took a long breath and let out a sigh of relief, turned off the alarm, and stared blankly at the ceiling for a while.
Several consecutive days of staying up late had left him in a state of tension and exhaustion. This weariness hadn't shown at the office, but when he got home last night, he deeply felt that he was truly tired.
After a hot bath and lying in bed, he slept extraordinarily soundly, sleeping until dawn for the first time this month. Even though it was his day off, he had a full schedule, so he set his alarm out of habit.
After lying in bed for a while, Xiao Buli finally got up. He felt much more relaxed at home, not even wearing pajamas, but walking into the bathroom shirtless in just his underwear.
He washed his face with cold water and, looking at the person in the mirror, Xiao Buli was astonished, (Is that really me?) he wondered doubtfully, with a flicker of surprise in his heart.
In the mirror, his muscles were firm and rugged. Although he had always valued regular exercise, it was only to keep from becoming weak, and he would still look rather pale and hardly muscular, incomparable to his current appearance.
Now his body looked as though it had been through long-term training, full of life and dynamism.
This is probably one of the benefits gained from the game, I suppose it's due to the enhancement of attributes.
According to his analysis, the attributes of an ordinary person converted to game terms would be around 10 points, and over these days, he managed to significantly improve all his basic attributes with professional skills. Now, they are generally above fifteen points, some even approaching twenty.
If compared to the real world, they wouldn't be much different from those athletes or special forces who undergo rigorous training. It's hard to imagine just how strong the bodies of those with Strength and stamina over thirty, even over forty, would be.
As he thought about this, he smiled at himself in the mirror. Although he did not care much about his appearance, having a good body was still something worth being happy about.
After freshening up, Xiao Buli started to prepare his breakfast—fried eggs with bread and milk, simple yet nutritious, all bought last night from the supermarket downstairs. It was less tasty compared to the breakfast provided by the company but more casual.
While eating breakfast, Xiao Buli pondered the day's tasks.
First, of course, was making some talisman paper to carry with him. Next, he needed to familiarize himself with and use spells and skills. He had not dared to experiment with any new ones this week and was starting to forget the sensation of casting spells.
Besides reviewing the spells he already knew, the Gale Sword Skills, Lesser Invisibility Spell, and Tai Chi Sword Skills he learned this week needed to be practiced and mastered. There were also those two mystic skills, but looking at the layout of his living room, Xiao Buli thought definitely not to use the 'Wind Rolls The Scattered Clouds' here.
By the time he finished his meal, he had planned out his activities for the day.
Opening the bookcase, Xiao Buli started making talisman paper first. This time, being familiar with the process, it took him less than an hour to make over fifty sheets of talisman paper. After drying them, he stuffed them into a cigarette case and tucked it into his jacket pocket, leaving out a few for trial use of the Lesser Invisibility Spell and to review other spells.
Xiao Buli drew the curtains and locked the doors and windows to start his experiments.
Initially, he failed a few times, but as he gradually recaptured the feeling from last week, his success rate quickly improved. With several spells reviewed successfully, he began trying to cast the newly learned Lesser Invisibility Spell.
Summoning up some emotion, Xiao Buli pinched a piece of talisman paper between two fingers and mentally chanted, "Invisibility Technique."
With a 'bang,' the talisman paper turned into a mist that enveloped him. As the mist slowly dissipated, Xiao Buli saw everything around him as if it were enclosed in frosted glass, blurring his surroundings.
He looked at the mirror set up for testing and saw a semi-transparent figure inside it, faintly visible and looking back at him. Drawing on his experience from the game, Xiao Buli knew only he could see that figure; to anyone else, the room would appear empty.
Having completed his spell experiments, Xiao Buli then prepared to practice his swordsmanship. However, after sizing up space with his Han-style precious sword, he found the room too cramped and unsuitable for practicing.
So where should he go to practice swordsmanship?
He thought for a moment and then remembered Old Mr. Gu. (His sword training field is not bad, and didn't I say I'd teach him swordsmanship? Instead of choosing a date, why not just do it today?)
He made a phone call to Gu Shaobang, and the voice that answered was very excited, "Hey, President, you're out and about again, huh? You even have time to call."
