Absolute Cheater

Chapter 394: Fused rewards II

"Oh! Even the Sanguine Supreme Art was elevated to the next level—good," Asher nodded as he took a look at the others that benficial to him.

Fist of Doom

Type: Close-Combat Destruction Technique

Rank: Peak Star-Forger Tier

Law Integration: Destruction Law + Earth Law + Impact Law + Flame Law (Abyssal Variant)

Description:

A devastating melee technique focused on raw, condensed destruction. When activated, Asher's arm becomes encased in a volcanic gauntlet of soul-hardened blood and molten rock, glowing with cracks of inner fire.

Core Effects:

Doom Pulse: Every punch releases a shockwave that carries the force of a meteor impact, smashing everything within a 30-meter cone.

Breakthrough Effect: Ignores all physical and magical defenses below Sovereign-grade fortifications.

Volcanic Core Strike: Charges the fist with abyssal flame. Upon contact, it doesn't just burn—it erupts, causing internal combustion within the target's body.

Passive – Seismic Aftershock: When punching the ground, sends out shockwaves that break terrain and disrupt enemy footing in a 50m radius.

--

"Hmm, a close combat type, huh? I never had any before, so it's good for me, I think," he mumbled as he looked at the next one.

Six Swords of Ruin

Type: Mid-to-Long Range Sword Technique / Sword Manifestation Style

Rank: Peak Star-Forger Tier

Law Integration: Ruin Law + Spatial Severance + Soul Echo + Curse Law + Gravity Law

Description:

A multidirectional sword art where Asher summons and controls six spectral swords, each attuned to a different destructive principle. This is not a mere summoning spell—it's a technique that requires perfect harmony between thought, will, and combat awareness.

Each Sword Has a Unique Trait:

First Sword – Gravity Rend: Slows time around its arc. Hits like a falling planet.

Second Sword – Soul Sever: Bypasses armor and targets spiritual nerves. Disorients.

Third Sword – Echo Splitter: Echoes its slash twice after the first swing—delayed mirror hits.

Fourth Sword – Curse Fang: Marks the target. Every attack afterward deals +30% damage.

Fifth Sword – Dimensional Edge: Cuts through space. Allows for remote slashes.

Sixth Sword – Core Breaker: Locks onto enemy cores or hearts, aiming for fatal precision.

Core Ability – Dance of Ruin:

Asher can direct all six swords simultaneously, creating a rotating field of death around him. In advanced form, they orbit him in shifting formations that slash, pierce, and sever Laws with each rotation.

Ultimate Move – Eclipse Bloom Ruin Slash:

All six swords combine into a single oversized blade that Asher wields for a devastating finishing blow. Causes rupture of Laws in a 200m cone and tears rifts in the surrounding battlefield.

"Hmm, good one," he nodded, then turned his gaze to the final fused reward—the one that made him raise a brow.

It wasn't just any reward.

It was the Calamity Beast Egg.

The same egg that had remained dormant in his inventory for nearly his entire life. It pulsed now, faintly—its obsidian shell lined with crimson veins that shimmered like molten threads.

[ Incubation Progress: 100% ]

Asher's eyes widened a little when he saw the notification.

"It finally hit 100%," he muttered.

He reached into his inventory and pulled out the egg. It was cold and heavier than it looked. Even just holding it, he could feel something dangerous inside—like it wasn't safe to touch, but it hadn't fully woken up yet.

He remembered when he first found it.

He was only six years old back then. He had discovered it by accident. Nobody had known what it was. Even if someone did, they might have just tried to destroy it and use its bloodline—though even that probably wouldn't have worked.

This wasn't a normal beast.

This was something extremely rare and powerful—what his Absolute Appraisal called a Beast of Calamity.

And now? After all these years, Asher had poured almost 80% of his treasures into this egg. Soul crystals, powerful blood, rare pills, even divine materials.

Only now had it fully absorbed everything and reached 100% progress.

"They're called Calamity Beasts for a reason," he said quietly, watching the egg move slightly in his hands.

Even their bloodline was dangerous. Just being born, they caused the world around them to become unstable.

These beasts could hatch into anything—dragons, phoenixes, titans, ancient human-like beings, even pure elemental forms. There were no rules.

But one thing was certain: whatever came out would be incredibly powerful and dangerous.

Asher stared at the egg. Faint red lines started glowing across the shell.

"I wonder what you'll be," he said to himself. "Maybe a dragon… or something that looks human… maybe both."

He paused, then gave a small nod.

"Doesn't matter. You're mine."

Then he remembered something.

He reached into his storage again and pulled out a sealed cage. Inside it was another beast—silent and still, curled up.

It was the Myriad Galaxy Serpent. It hadn't moved since Asher had given it Dragon God blood essence.

"Still asleep," Asher muttered. "Guess you're still absorbing it."

This serpent was also going through a transformation. It would probably be ready in a week.

He stored the cage again.

The egg in his hands shook again, more violently this time.

A crack ran across its shell.

Asher stepped back and placed it on a flat stone platform he created using Earth Law.

"Alright," he said calmly. "Time to hatch."

He crossed his arms and watched as more cracks spread across the shell.

Bright light began to shine from inside.

The Beast of Calamity was finally hatching.

As the cracks spread across the glowing egg, Asher cut his palm with a clean slice. Blood began to drip slowly. Without hesitation, he poured it over the surface of the egg.

"This is the best way to form a bond," he said to himself, watching closely.

His Absolute Appraisal ability confirmed it—this method would work. It wasn't a normal beast. But even a Calamity-level creature could recognize blood. Especially his blood, charged with soul power and his essence.

The egg trembled harder.

Then it finally cracked open with a soft crack, and pieces of shell fell away.

A small shape slowly pushed out from the center.

At first, it looked like a lump of glowing fur, but then it raised its head—and blinked at Asher.

It was… strange, and completely unique.

The beast looked like a cub, maybe the size of a large housecat, but its body shimmered faintly with a mix of shadowy mist and crimson light. Its fur looked soft but also had small, armored scales running along its spine. Two small horns curved back from its head, and it had four eyes—two big, black ones up front, and two smaller glowing red ones on its forehead.

Its tail looked like a thin whip, ending in a fluffy tip of flickering flames.

The cub stared up at Asher with huge, curious eyes, sniffed the air, and then suddenly stepped forward.

It licked the blood on his cut palm.

Asher felt a strange warmth rush through his arm.

The wound began to heal instantly, without him using any power.

The little beast purred. Then it sat down and started chewing the broken eggshells, eating them like crispy snacks. It ate slowly, staring up at Asher the whole time like it was trying to memorize his face.

Then it finished, gave a loud burp—and walked up to him.

It tapped his foot with its little paw.

"Pa…pa."

Asher blinked.

It had just called him Papa.

"…You can talk already?" he muttered.

The cub tilted its head and said again, "Papa."

Then it rubbed against his leg and curled up like it had known him forever.

Asher knelt down and picked it up. Its body was warm, but he could feel the overwhelming energy hidden inside it.

"You really are a Calamity Beast," he muttered.

The cub yawned and closed its eyes, already falling asleep in his arms.

Asher held it close.

"Alright… you're mine now."

Asher looked down at the strange beast resting in his arms, still half-asleep and curled up against his chest.

"Though your appearance is really something else," he mumbled, raising an eyebrow.

Asher stared at the panel for a long moment.

"…Well damn," he muttered.

Even for a Calamity Beast, this was over the top.

"Sin, Nihility, Extinction, and Death? You really are built to bring calamities, aren't you?"

The little lion cub gave a soft growl in its sleep, one of its four tiny eyes glowing faintly red as it nestled closer.

Asher shook his head, half amused.

"I'll need to start training you soon… or else you'll blow up half a continent by accident."

He reached out and scratched behind one of its ears. It purred—deep, low, and oddly chilling for something so small.

"Still, you're mine now. Let's see how far you can grow."
