A World Jumper

Chapter 34: Alexander meets Bee

While Alexander was watching out for Archibald Whitwhicky's glasses and Bumblebee.

Alexander decided it was time to talk with Bumblebee, since he needed the other party on his side.

In a desolate landscape of the abandoned car parking lot, capturing the eerie silence and the rustling of dried leaves in the wind

Alexander slowly checks out the place, until his determined gaze fixed on the battered 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Z28.

As Alexander approaches the Camaro, its intensely yellow exterior, revealing the scars of countless battles etched into its frame. l

With cautious steps, Alexander closes the distance, his footsteps echoing ominously against the concrete pavement. He halts a few feet away from the Camaro, his voice breaking the silence.

"I know what you are," Alexander's voice is firm, laced with a mixture of apprehension and resolve.

The wind picks up, swirling dust around tas Bumblebee remains silent.

Undeterred, Alexander reaches into his pocket and retrieves his phone, the screen illuminating his face with an eerie glow. With a few swift taps, he navigates through his files until he finds what he's looking for.

A holographic image materializes above Alexander's phone, depicting Bumblebee in his former glory, a valiant warrior standing amidst the chaos of World War II. While also showing pictures of Stars cream fighting with the Germans, while adding, "I know, you are the good ones."

The air crackles with tension as Alexander holds the image aloft, his eyes locked on the motionless Camaro. And then, as if in response to an unseen cue, the Camaro's headlight suddenly flickers to life, casting an intense beam of light.

Camaro undergoes its transformation, emitting muted grinding and squealing noises as it morphs before their eyes. There's no hiding now, no subterfuge, just the raw spectacle of a machine reshaping itself into something more.

In a dazzling display of mechanical prowess, the Camaro gives way to Bumblebee's true form. Still bathed in that light-blinding yellow, he stands tall and proud, his humanoid figure adorned with automotive details that speak to his origins like he incorporates elements of his Chevrolet Camaro, with sections of the car's body forming his limbs, chest, and head. His yellow armor is accented with black details, giving him a distinctive appearance on the battlefield. Bumblebee's facial features are expressive, with piercing blue optics and a mouthplate that can convey emotions.

"How did you find me, human?" With an electronic squeal Bumblebee questioned,he was using audio clips from the radio to talk. Also Bumblebee's voice carries a hint of curiosity as he regards Alexander.

With a flick of his wrist, Alexander activates a small device, triggering a soft hum that reverberates. The air shimmers with anticipation as small semi-circles illuminate in a mesmerizing display of blue light, forming a complex pattern that dances before their eyes.

As a holographic world map materializes, Alexander gestures towards it, revealing a series of red dots scattered across its surface.

"Your energy signature is different from normal vehicles and machines, I figured your energy core is different" Alexander explains, his tone matter-of-fact. "It took a couple of tries to lock onto it."

While bee was in awe at humans intellect, but his gaze narrows as he takes in the information, his mind racing with the implications. These red dots aren't just random anomalies—they're Decepticons, lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike.

A sense of urgency fills the air as Bumblebee realizes the gravity of the situation. With a determined nod, he turns to Alexander and said through cut out audio clips," Human, your world is in danger, I need you to work with me."

Alexander cut in, "I will give you a temporary voicebox,so you can explain to me everything."

He decided to play dumb for now, since by technicalities there is no such movies, comics or cartoons of Transformers in his previous world.

Bumblebee nodded, Alexander slowly worked on his voice box and managed to repair temporarily, so Robot announced,"My name is Bumblebee, I am from very distant world called Cybertron. Our group have come in search of what is known as the All spark."

Bumblebee then continued,"I have to find it's location before Megatron."

Alexander muttered, "Megatron."

From his eyes a three-dimensional image appeared in the clear night air: a view of an incredible battle taking place on an alien world composed of metal and other nonorganic compounds. As the view shifted, Alexander were exposed to scenes of flaming craters, destruction on an unimaginable scale, mile upon mile of total devastation. The surface was littered with limbs and heads and other pieces of lifeless machines. And everywhere there was fire, and smoke, and death.

The view shifted again, to show a ship descending. In the process of touching down it transformed. Though seen only from behind, the immense outline managed to convey an aura of overpowering menace. Standing over one crippled Autobot, it reached down and plunged a fist into the other's metal chest. Steely fingers yanked back, wrenching out a handful of flickering energy. Alien though the action was, its straightforward brutality.

Bumblebee nodded and continued, "Leader of the Decepticons, he is a tyrant who wants to control everything. For Eeons our world was locked in the stalemate that resulted from Megatron's actions. Two equal and opposing forces frozen in interminable battle. The endless combat all but exhausted our resources and nearly extinguished our kind. Those few who survived finally decided the only way to put an end to it was to flee." A deafening bellow emerged from the figure identified as Megatron as the final image faded. Bumblebee continued, "Only the Cube can reanimate our race, allowing us to repopulate our world, for it alone is capable of energizing Transformers. That is why Megatron desires it. With it in his possession, he will at last obtain the absolute power he has always sought over the future of our kind."

Bumblebee added"In the course of eons of fighting, the Cube was flung out into space. I and my companions as well as Megatron and his ilk have been searching for it ever since. We have finally succeeded in tracing its present position to your planet." Alexader pretty much knew everything, but decided to listen anyway as the mechanoid continued. "When it crashed here it transmitted a signal. That signal took a long time to reach the scattered remnants of our pitifully conflicted world. Megatron was the first to follow it here, pursuing it immediately after it was cast out of Cybertron. Only by a stroke of great good fortune was his arrival imperfect and on a part of your world suitable for delaying him. He succumbed to ever-shifting ice."

Alexander said,"So what do want me to do?"

Bumblebee was happy the human is ready to help him, he continued, " Ancestor of the boy named Sam Witwicky discover Megatron and subsequent physical encounter triggered a tiny part of Megatron's hitherto dormant internal configuration. That the resultant reaction destroyed his ancestor's eyes. But it apparently left a coded physical imprint as well. On his portable prosthetic lenses,"

Alexander said, " You mean the coded physical imprint is on his lens?"

Bumblebee nodded and replied"We have to get the lens? He is selling it on a site called Ebay?"

"Also the Cube still resides on your world," Bumblebee continued. "But I can no longer detect its signal. It has been—blocked by something."

Alexander, standing tall amidst the urban decay, furrowed his brow in determination. "I will look into it," he declared.

Bumblebee's engine hummed softly as he expressed his gratitude, his headlights dimming in relief. "I am grateful," he replied.

As the conversation drew to a close, Alexander's smiled. "By the way," he added, his voice tinged with warmth, "my name is Alexander."
