A rare magical miracle in the world

Chapter 369: Don't Look There, We Haven't Conquered It Yet (Requesting Monthly Pass)

"Although Uncle is just a mortal, I also brought you something."

Old Uncle wrapped his arm around Bailuo's neck, lifted his palm, and gently brushed it over the figures standing in front of him, especially over the silhouettes of female leaders: "Look! This is the picturesque empire Uncle has won for you!"

"Wow~~~~"

At this moment, Bailuo's reverence for Old Uncle reached its peak.

Truly worthy to be Old Uncle, the eternal god in Bailuo's heart.

"Hmm?"

Suddenly, Bailuo saw a woman who stood out amongst the Masters of Miracles. She stuck out like a sore thumb.

She neither approached anyone nor did anyone approach her; she was quite isolated.

Her ice-blue hair was long, her figure tall and slender, dressed in a classical gown reminiscent of military attire, yet her skin was covered up tightly, leaving only her smooth, jade-white neck exposed, capturing Bailuo's gaze.

"Don't look over there!"

Old Uncle noticed Bailuo's gaze and quickly said, "That area hasn't been conquered yet."

"....."

Bailuo fell silent: "Who is that? Uncle, do you know her?"

"I know..."

Old Uncle hesitated: "You could say I know her, yes."

"She's coming this way!"

"What?!""

Just as Bailuo was about to step forward, Old Uncle grabbed his arm and dragged him toward the crowd, "What's going on? Uncle? Eh?"

This was the first time Bailuo had seen Old Uncle so anxious, as if he wasn't seeing a woman but a fearsome beast.

But, could that be possible?

Was there really a beast in this world that even a hunter like Saros couldn't hunt?

"Long time no see, Saros."

"If you walk away," the woman's voice came from behind, "I can't guarantee I won't do something."

"....."

Old Uncle stopped in his tracks, and Bailuo had to halt as well: "What's going on? Who is she to be so arrogant?"

"Ygsella."

"Huh?"

Bailuo quickly turned around, staring intently at the high and cold-looking woman who was walking toward them: "Is that the Empress of the Far North?"

"I don't know what others say about me, but you seem to be not afraid of me at all."

Ygsella approached Bailuo, her piercing gaze looking directly into his eyes as if trying to see through his heart and nature.

"Should I be afraid of you?"

As soon as he uttered these words, not only Old Uncle but also Ygsella seemed surprised: "Roar?"

"He does resemble you in some aspects, Saros."

"Sort of."

Old Uncle, sweating profusely, which was rare for him, seemed to have great apprehension towards the Empress of the Far North. The woman who could make the Old Uncle want to flee on sight was truly one-of-a-kind.

However, Bailuo could tell this wasn't just a man avoiding a woman due to annoyance, but pure fear and terror.

Old Uncle probably had never regarded the Empress of the Far North as a 'human being'; his gaze was like that of someone vigilant against a dragon that could go berserk at any moment.

"Uncle?"

Looking at the elder who had positioned himself in front of Binder like a protective parent, Bailuo was at a loss whether to laugh or cry.

It was Old Uncle's instinct, but this was surely underestimating Bailuo too much.

"Let me handle this."

Bailuo stepped forward, moving past Old Uncle.

"Xiao Luo?"

"Now I am the mainstay."

Bailuo no longer needed Uncle's protection, he should be the one protecting them, "The Empress of the Far North, may I inquire as to what brings you here?"

"Aren't you afraid of me?"

This was already the second time the Empress of the Far North had asked such a question.

"As I said before, I don't see what there is to be afraid of."

"Then, do you want," Ygsella said, "to experience it for yourself?"

The Empress of the Far North, called the 'Mad Woman' and 'War Maniac,' wasn't just a title in name only; no one could guess her thoughts, not even Uncle, who almost died at her hands.

That was also the closest Uncle had ever come to death.

Back in the day, when Uncle visited the Far North Empire, he went with intentions of friendship and exploration.

However, upon seeing Uncle, Ygsella immediately launched an attack on him.

Had it not been for the Female Sword Emperor and others desperately defending, Uncle wouldn't be here today.

As for the reason...

"This man is very dangerous," Ygsella still had not changed her opinion, giving Uncle a cold glance, "Keeping him around is too great a threat."

"But now..."

Ygsella turned her attention to Bailuo, "I'm much more interested in you."

"As for you."

Ygsella gave Uncle a glance and disdainfully said, "Although I don't know what happened, you indeed have aged, Saros."

Admittedly, having become a Miracle Creature, Uncle should have gotten stronger, but in terms of spirit, he truly had aged.

This was also a common reflection of the age group of the Masters of Miracles; some Kings who attained their miracles in middle or old age often lose the vigor of youth.

Uncle was in such a condition, although his experience became increasingly rich, in terms of valor, he was not as good as Bailuo anymore.

"The first time I saw you, I felt an unprecedented fear coming from you."

This man is very dangerous, he might kill me, that was Ygsella's first impression of Uncle.

Like a vicious dragon facing a dragonslayer.

The prey against the hunter, Ygsella had almost immediately launched an attack on Uncle, attempting to kill him in the cradle.

"To be honest, I'm very disappointed in you."

After all, he was someone who had once made her feel fear; Ygsella still found it embarrassing to recall that she had instinctively acted out of fear.

But now, that god-like hunter, had turned into a domesticated good man.

Ridiculous, how utterly ridiculous!

"Say what you will."

Uncle was indifferent to Ygsella's opinion; he never pursued success and strength as perceived by others.

The old man had always had a simple dream, which was a warm, simple home.

Bailuo, sister-in-training, Inya, the Yatun Clan, Uncle was very satisfied and happy.

"I can't just ignore that remark," Bailuo confronted Ygsella, "on what basis do you look down on him?"

Uncle being insulted made Bailuo very angry.

If it weren't for the old man, Bailuo wouldn't have survived the adversity of Yatun over a decade ago.

As for how much help Uncle provided in his growth in this lifetime, it was unimaginable; such a person, even Bailuo who became the Master of Miracles, held the utmost respect and admiration, striving towards him.

Bailuo admitted he was not as clever as Uncle, so he worked hard, striving to catch up, to transcend him, to become even better than the old man.

But now, Ygsella dared to insult Bailuo's goal, the most perfect elder in his eyes.

How was this different from insulting a child's parents right in front of them?

What's more, Uncle was the founding father of Yatun; to insult him was to insult all of Yatun, and Bailuo as well!

"Oh?"

Ygsella looked at Bailuo with evident interest, "Are you going to be my enemy?"

"My enemy..."

Bailuo unyieldingly retorted, "Weren't you the one who provoked first, Empress of the Far North!"
