Chapter 28
Lin Yuetian acted unusually well-behaved in this Interstellar world. Not long ago, he even paid a visit to Baron Sarah’s father, Earl Garcia, not just once but several times over.
He seemed to have the intention of making a friendly relationship with the Garcia Family. Thus, began to carefully prepare a gift—an Advanced Zerg.
That’s right. During this time when he sold his Zerg harvest to the Black Market, Lin Yuetian found another part of this Interstellar World that he and the Original Owner didn’t know the side of it.
Humans and Zerg were mortal enemies, that much was true. But no matter what world they lived in, there were bound to be some people with “special hobbies” which were deemed taboo under the light. In the NAS Empire, there were quite a number of people who were interested in the peculiar shape and the powerful abilities of Zergs.
Most of the Zerg corpses sold in the Black Market were sold to these groups of people. As for the other part, the Advanced Zergs blessed with terrible combat power yet were able to transform into a beautiful humanoid shape, were undoubtedly attractive for many Nobles.
To put it simply, a weak Human Noble, generally didn’t have any astounding mental power, and might not even own a certification to drive any Mecha. But this kind of person was given the chance of keeping a beautiful and powerful Advanced Zerg as a pet, giving them the enjoyment of seeing these powerful beings succumb helplessly under them, or just simply having their corpses as another treasure in their collection and add grandeur to their Mansion.
Needless to say, how much prestige they would get when they showed it off during the Upper-Class gathering.
Therefore, even though there were countless Heroic Warrior of the NAS Empire who fell to their death in the confrontation against the Zergs every year, despite the astronomical number of casualties the Imperial Civilians had suffered throughout history, the value and demands of Advanced Zerg, as corpses or still alive, had always been high on the Black Market.
Under an ample reward, there must be braves who dared to take the order. The number of Interstellar Pirates risking their lives to hunt Advanced Zergs for their high price was uncountable. It was also unknown how many agents organized this transaction clandestinely, and sold the banned drugs that could mask a Zerg’s presence (under the Machine’s inspection) among the aristocrats.
Likewise, nobody knew the number of high-class residences that had or just added this new stunning collection within the NAS Empire, where the animosity propaganda against Zergs was vigorously promoted in public.
When Lin Yuetian roamed in the Black Market before, he heard that apparently there were a lot of backers from the upper echelon of the Military in this Zerg business. They either pursued the huge profits coming from this trade, or used this transaction as a gift to smooth out their career.
It was natural. Given the interest was high enough, both Nobles and Merchants alike wouldn’t hesitate to discard any morality or virtue.
[“The implementation of Feudal Monarchy is just not good.”] The System indignantly remarked toward this kind of state.
***
Lin Yuetian had modestly shown his good feeling toward Earl Garcia, and had vaguely revealed to the Nobleman his meaning to offer a special gift to him.
It had to be remembered that the Original Owner’s achievements had always been exceptionally brilliant. Considering his excellent records, Earl Garcia was willing to pay attention to his initiatives. In this way, Lin Yuetian finally obtained 2 pieces of A-Class banned drugs that could hide a Zerg’s presence.
This might be the part of what Lin Yuetian said prior, “I have already laid my foundation.”
—Though, the System couldn’t understand why he had changed his way of operation, into this kind of roundabout action.
Lin Yuetian later proceeded by driving his Mecha and broke into the Advanced Zergs settlement by himself.
When he finally returned from this expedition, in the middle of recovering from his wounded state, the corpse of one Advanced Male Zerg he had successfully killed on his own and brought back was soon picked up by Earl Garcia’s subordinate.
In this expedition, after Lin Yuetian charged into the Advanced Zerg’s cave, the System had temporarily lost their connection, due to the immense mental barrier between the Zerg Queen and the Advanced Zergs. He was thereby unclear about what had happened in this time period.
However, when Lin Yuetian came out, he knew that the guy had indeed suffered serious injuries. His Mecha was damaged all over, and Lin Yuetian’s mental power was overdrawn to the bottom. It took a long time to heal his injuries before recovering to his normal state.
The System was not used in Lin Yuetian being in this state. He couldn’t help but hold grievance for him, unaware that his way of thinking had apparently been changed dramatically from his initial logic,
[“Big Brother, what are you doing, why do you have to please that Earl Garcia? This is just too suffocating! Forgive me, but bluntly speaking, this NAS Empire is really unworthy! Why don’t you just go and divide this Baron Sarah or Earl Garcia into 7 or 8 pieces, painting the surrounding into festive red meanwhile…”]
“Why do you keep thinking of me as a mad killer? I think your misunderstanding about me has yet been solved.”
Lin Yuetian explained patiently, “If I were to work the way you expected me to, there’s no way for me to complete our Mission. In this Interstellar world, Admiral Vincent’s ability alone has surpassed mine. He holds power in his hand and accordingly owns groups of soldiers at his disposal. Besides, I have done my experiment before, and I know that people in this world generally have strong mental power, as a result, the Anesthetic candle in my possession barely works against them.”
“We can’t defeat them in brute strength and resorting to strategies is what we have left. But don’t worry, I’m still a Professional Hitman, I give you my words on my credibility. I already have a plan in mind, you can rest assured.”
[“Hehe. Really?”] The System still had some doubts inwardly.
***
Lin Yuetian indeed had a plan of his own.
As soon as his injuries were healed, he went back to the Black Market to buy some nano bombs, another product sold at quite a high price.
[“Damn!”] The System began to panic again, starting to consider whether to put Buddhist Scriptures on his playlist in advance. [“You couldn’t possibly plan a suicide attack, when your plan failed you will blow the Capital along with yourself, do you??”]
“Like hell I would.” Lin Yuetian retorted without a shred of hesitation.
[“Well..then, that’s good, it scared me to death…”]
“I mean, with this pitiful number it’s impossible to bomb any place.” Lin Yuetian sighed with regret.
“If you want to blow the entire capital, you need to buy a sufficient amount to produce the desired impact, subsequently it will need a staggering expenditure to buy these bombs, and I really can’t afford it. Besides, buying a lot will undoubtedly attract others’ attention…”
The System, [“…”]
He had stopped talking for a while, but after trying to hold back for quite a long time, he couldn’t help but grumbled,
[“…It’s my fault for even expecting you to have some bottom line[1]unwilling to involve innocent civilians.”]
“What are you talking about?” Lin Yuetian was puzzled. “Admiral Vincent and Baron Sarah have no bottom line themselves, am I wrong? Their status is both higher than mine, thus more powerful than I am. So, why don’t you ask the Strong to pity the Weak first, but demand the Weak to maintain their bottom line instead?”
[“…”] The System fell speechless. [“…I dare you to say it again, You, as in You, Weak?”]

Earl Garcia was obviously satisfied with Lin Yuetian’s self-awareness, while Baron Sarah was also elated and felt pride welling up inside her once she learned her Rival actually tried to curry favor with her family.
Recalling how previously Lin Yuetian relying on his rare S-level Mental Power, had arrogantly stood side by side with Vincent all day long, and seeing the special tacit understanding between the two, in the past, Baron Sarah had to suppress her anger every time.
‘How ignorant could this commoner be! Forgetting his own standing! What kind of S-level Mental Power does he have, So what if he is an Omega, I, Sarah, am the only perfect match for Vincent, his only childhood sweetheart!’
Even if she knew that Vincent had approached Lin Yuetian solely for her own sake, she couldn’t help but feel jealous of their radiance, whenever they stood shoulder to shoulder on the battlefield.
However, it’s alright now.
Just like how the priceless Advanced Zerg could become a decoration in her family residence’s Study and Bedrooms, now she had snatched Lin Yuetian’s gland for himself. Her own Mental Power had also risen significantly from B-level to A-level, just like how today’s Lin Yuetian was.
Sarah had become an Omega, and would soon marry Vincent justifiably. Their wedding would be LIVE broadcast online throughout the NAS Empire. Every citizen would become the witness of their union. The whole universe would know that she, Sarah Garcia was a rightful match for Admiral Vincent! She was the absolute winner here!
At this time, Lin Yuetian’s humble gesture to initiate a cordial relationship with her family had definitely allowed Baron Sarah to taste what it felt like to be the Final Winner.
Her face had been full of smiles for several days straight. The sight of this happy-looking Baron was even captured by the Media and published in the Capital’s tabloid. The title of the said article was, “The Hidden Flower of NAS Empire“, describing this rare A-level Mental Power Baron as the Pride of All Omega.
—What about the once S-level Omega, Lin Yuetian?
Why of course, such a lowly commoner, a rough soldier, naturally was unbefitting to the aesthetic, to what an Omega should be. Such a person was unworthy of any appreciation.

A month later, at a banquet that only a limited number of Nobles could attend, Earl Garcia proudly showed off his latest collection.
Accepting everyone’s praise for his “exquisite collection”, the Earl’s vanity was immensely satisfied. At his side, the infamous fiance of Admiral Vincent, Baron Sarah, stood demurely with a smile on her face.
‘Everything has gone according to my wish!’ Baron Sarah mused triumphantly
On the other side of the Capital, Lin Yuetian who returned to his Military dorm, opened a letter he had just received.
It was a wedding invitation, dated a week away from the current day.
Lin Yuetian also laughed triumphantly, and said,
“Everything has gone according to plan…”
