A Peculiar very Peculiar (Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children)

Chapter 30: CHAPTER 30 – FUN IN THE BEACH

*Note: I'm so tired today... Sorry for upload so late (in my country), but I have a lot of things to do and even if you don't believe, I'm writing one chapter of this fic per day but I have two fics more to write so it takes me a lot of time to write and translate.

But I don't mind. I love to write this fic. I hope you're enjoying as much as me. For starters, I'm writing a fic of these books because I hated the final and the relationship that Jacob have with Emma at the end. I was so angry that I decided to write this fic for me. To read it in the future. But I decided to share it with all of you. For those people who are like me and didn't like the end or they want to read an alternative line time.

And for those who are reading this and like, please, leave me a comment and a review. Reviews and comments are free and I like a lot seeing good reviews. It cheers me up a lot of more than you think, so please, leave me a good review, thanks.

And if you want to cheer me up even more, you can suscribe to my patreon where you'll be able to read more chapters in advance and it's practically free, so give it a try and cheer me up!

...

As we walked through the town, we were watched by the residents of the place who whispered about the strange people who were walking through their streets, people they barely saw.

They knew that these girls belonged to the old orphanage located on the other side of the island, but it was rare to see them walking around the town because the residents do not remember having seen these girls more than 5 times in the last 10 years and curiously, no matter how many years passed, they always remained identical, as if they never aged.

There had already been whispers about it. Some people said they were demons while others said they were witches, that's why they never aged. But no one ever decided to do anything, no one decided to investigate the reason for the matter, why? Because after the restart they would go back to the same boring day as always. To the day where they did nothing, to the day when the bombs of the German troops fell from the sky unleashing chaos in Cairnholm. No one would ever do anything against them because the day always came back to the beginning again and again.

The most intriguing thing about that "sixth" time they saw those girls is the boy next to one of them, the girl with red hair. The boy was strange and not only because of his appearance, but because of the strange clothes he wore, clothes that they had never seen and they did not even know how to describe.

People began to whisper and try to find out the boy's identity, but... Who was so bored as to investigate a boy? Besides, if he was with those girls, he was probably just another orphan, but... Why did they never see them, did he never leave there until now? Many speculated about it, but none of them got the right answer. After all, it was impossible to find out where he came from, because they would never have thought that Jacob is from the future and that the girls next to him have supernatural powers. No one would have ever suspected that, ever.

Returning to the subject, Jacob and his friends continued to tour the town. They walked all over Cairnholm, visited the most emblematic places (which were only old buildings almost destroyed), they also visited the stables where a shepherd looked at them with suspicion during the whole time they were observing. They also visited the "hotel" where Jacob was staying in the future.

"This may be where you stay in the future, but at that time it was just a tavern where drunks gather to drink all day" - Olive explained.

"That's right. It's not convenient for you to go in there" – Emma nodded.

"May I ask why?" – I asked curiously.

"It's simple, because of the clothes you wear they can even believe that you are a German spy and believe me here they hate the Germans a lot... and they would kill you just because of a suspicion" – Bronwyn replied.

"Bronwyn is right. We'd better pass by, we don't want troubles" - Olive nodded.

"Although we could always face them with our powers. Bronwyn has super strength. I control fire and Jacob can use water. No one could beat us in a frontal confrontation" – Emma said.

"You know Miss Peregrine would be furious if we do that, last time we were locked in our room for 5 restarts (or days) and all because you came up with the cool idea of burning down the place" – said Olive.

"But I didn't burn it for pleasure. I jus enter for curiosity and they tried to rape me, so I burned them all" – Emma said with a shrug.

"So... did you kill them?" – I asked in amazement.

"What?! Of course not, I only burned them a few times to cause them enough pain that they couldn't chase me. I would never kill anyone!" – Emma said somewhat offended.

"Haha. I'm sorry, it looked like you had killed them" – I smiled.

Actually, I was making fun of her. I knew that Emma was incapable of killing anyone despite her explosive personality and it's not because of my memories, it's a no-brainer considering her personality.

"Jacob is right, anyone would think that if you said it that way" – Olive nodded.

The others also nodded.

"Well... well, I'm sorry for being like that, but I am like that" – Emma said.

She was like that and no one would ever change her. That was her way of being, her philosophy of life.

"Just kidding. Besides, I like your personality, it's what makes you be yourself. Never change, Emma" – I said.

Hearing that, Emma blushed and lowered her head.

"T-Thank you" – Emma said embarrassed.

Her heart was beating very fast and her face was very flushed.

However, Jacob's compliments towards Emma did not go unnoticed by the rest of the girls, who became jealous of Emma instantly.

"Tell me Jacob. Do you like my personality?" – Olive asked.

"And mine?" – Fiona asked.

"I'm curious too" - Bronwyn said.

"And me!" – Claire said.

The twins didn't speak, but they tugged at Jacob's sleeve as if they were saying: "What about us?"

"Of course I like your personalities. Olive's positive and serene personality, Fiona's calmness and love of plants, Bronwyn's caring and maternal personality, the lively Claire and the twins and their shyness. In general I like you all" - I said.

In more ways than one, though... as for Claire and the twins... I'll have to do something in the future. The system told me that for the twins there was hope, but for Claire... We will have to wait for the future to see what happens.

Hearing Jacob's praise for them and the word: "I like", all the girls present, without exception, blushed, became nervous and their hearts began to pound. Did Jacob really think so highly of them? He also said that he liked them all. Was that a proposal or something like that? The girls' thoughts were running wild. Unfortunately, their thoughts were interrupted by a noise.

Apparently, one of the drunks in the tavern was going to leave and the boys ran away so as not to be seen by them and cause new problems for Miss Peregrine.

"Anyway... What do you think if we go to the last place on this tour?" – Olive suggested.

"Yes, I agree" – Emma nodded.

"Besides, the timing is perfect" – Bronwyn nodded.

"Yes, let's go!" – Claire said.

And the twins nodded.

"Girls, where are we going? You have me intrigued with so much mystery" – I said curiously.

Although we were interrupted, the brief moment when I said those words to the girls, I could notice something. Apparently they all liked me or were beginning to have feelings for me, because they made an expression that only a girl in love would make. Even though I've only been here for two day. Am I really so handsome?

But there's something that bothers me. Why didn't the system give me a mission for the twins? I mean, yes, it's true that I can't see their faces now or I'd die (according to the movie), but if in the future I can get them to control their powers and I see their true faces... Who wouldn't want to have them as their women? Let's be clear, I'm completely sure that both of them are stunning beauties but they can't shine due to their disgusting powers. In addition, they appear to be between 13 and 14 years old.

When the system is updated (which by the way should have ended by now), I will ask him for explanations, because I want to see if he can give me a mission related to the twins. Don't get me wrong, even if the system doesn't give me a mission related to them, I plan to help them regain their normal faces and, of course, make them mine accordingly. But I would like the system to give me some reward for it. Even if it's a small reward, so I'd be much more motivated.

And for those who might think. "Yuck, why try to conquer monsters like those twins?" I would tell those people to shut up and that everyone deserves the opportunity to be happy. Especially when it comes to girls as good as them. At this time, I promised that I would help them regain their true faces and I will keep my promise no matter what. I always keep my promises.

"To the beach, the weather is great!" – Claire said excitedly.

"Huh? But we don't have swimsuits" – I said in amazement.

How are we going to bathe if we swimsuit?

"I think, as long as it's just you, none of us care if you see us in our underwear, right?" – Olive said.

The others nodded... although somewhat embarrassed, especially Emma and Claire.

"Huh... but?" – I tried to say.

"No ifs and buts. Let's go!" – said Olive.

And then he pulled my hand in the direction of the beach while the others followed us from behind.

Cairnholm beach is... How to say it? Neglected, it was full of small rocks that hurt your feet and very little sand to walk on (unlike the one in the future that was much more neat) But not even the rocks could discourage the girls and they all took off their clothes as soon as they arrived at the beach. By the way, there was no need to worry about a lost person seeing us, because on September 3th, 1940 there was no one from Cairnholm on the beach and as always the same thing is repeated every day... I'm sure no one would see the girls.

Ehem, when they told me they didn't mind me seeing them in my underwear, my little friend (the one below my waist) and I got a little excited. But now that I had them in front of me, I could only think of the word: "bland". The 1940s underwear only allowed me to see their bellies and bare legs, they had no cleavage and the bottom left nothing to the imagination. Even though I could only see their belly and legs, the girls looked very embarrassed and I had to reassure them by telling them that they looked great.

On the contrary, I wore boxers. I hate briefs.

Seeing Jacob only in his boxers, the girls' mouths began to drool. Jacob's body was just... perfect!
