Back in the graveyard, Jake and Fleur were growing more and more confused, as it seemed like this wasn't part of the challenge after all and that they really were in just some random Muggle graveyard…

Jake spoke to Fleur with a smile. "Maybe the cup that was a portkey was defective and it accidentally put us here. You wouldn't happen to know how to apparate, would you? You could take us to Hogsmeade."

Fleur gave him a sigh followed by a happier smile. "In that case, maybe we could start our date a bit earlier, oui?" She gave him a sultry grin.

Jake would have liked that, but as he looked her over, he said, "You should probably get some medical attention first. You're still looking pretty banged up."

She just gave him a nod, as she realized she probably shouldn't be walking around on a date looking like she just came out of a war zone. She reached out her hand towards Jake for him to grab.

"You are probably right. Alright, take my hand and I'll apparate us back to Hog-" Before Jake could touch her, an irritating, screech-like voice shouted out from behind the two of them!

"Kill the spare, Wormtail!" The voice shouted out, followed by a flash of familiar green spell light that sent Jake into an immediate panic. The familiar spell wasn't heading for him, though!

"Avada Kedavra!" The spell, coming out of nowhere, was too quick for Fleur to react to, and as it struck her, she let out a scream of agony before her body dropped to the dirt…

Jake immediately lost himself to his wrath as he screamed in absolute rage and released all of his magical power in fury.

"You bastards! I'm going to kill you!" He turned to the now quaking pudgy man who had cast the spell. The fat, mouse-like man holding a disgusting-looking infant in his arms started trembling in fear at Jake's rage.

Before Jake could attack in retaliation, however…

"Not so fast there, you disgusting half-breed Gremory!" A man's voice called out from right behind Jake, and he immediately sensed an ultimate-class devil's power flare up near him!

Jake turned around to attack as fast as he could, but all he saw was a fist inches from his face before it connected, and his world went dark…

"How long is this ritual supposed to take? The half-breed trash is waking up," Jake groggily made out the voice of the ultimate class that had cold-cocked him.

"With the blood of his enemy forcibly taken, the dark lord shall be reborn!"

Jake awoke, tied to a tombstone hanging off the ground. What the hell happened to him? 'Wait, what about Fleur!?' Jake thought to himself in a panic as he looked around his surroundings.

He flared his magic throughout his body and with a tug of strength, ripped himself free of the chains that tied him to the tombstone!

Jake slumped to the ground, free, before quickly scrambling to his feet. Looking around rapidly, he saw Fleur's body, lifeless on the ground nearby.

Jake felt his heart break a little at seeing her lifeless eyes staring out at nothing. "Fleur…" Jake spoke to himself in sadness.

"Too bad the fat human killed her so fast. She was a beauty, I could have had some fun with her while these fools finished their ritual," an extremely arrogant voice said disgustingly.

Jake glared over to the voice and spotted an older man with black hair and violet eyes. He was also immaculately dressed in a three-piece black suit. Jake immediately had him figured for a devil.

Beyond where the man was standing was a large bubbling black cauldron that the fat man who murdered Fleur was chanting over.

Jake's anger flared at the sight of the killer as he immediately formed an ice spear in his hand and hurled it at the fat man!

The spear flew right past the older devil who didn't even bat an eye to try and stop it as it flew true and impaled the fat man through his torso!

"Ugggh!" Wormtail shrieked in agony as the spear pierced him. "Master, save me," he said with a final whimper before the cauldron next to him exploded!

From the remains of the destroyed cauldron emerged a man—no, Jake thought, he looked more like a monster.

He almost resembled a stray devil. His entire complexion was incredibly pale, his face was completely flat, and he was missing a nose! But what struck Jake the most were the man's eyes…

when he turned to face his way, Jake could see that the man had the exact same shade of blue eyes that he had!

The pale snake man simply looked at the deceased form of his follower on the ground before he shrugged in mild annoyance. With the wave of his hand, he managed to conjure robes for himself.

"Well, isn't that a delightfully remarkable ability," the man's voice had a hiss-like quality to it. "To be able to use magic without a wand now. I thank you for the donation of your blood in resurrecting me, Jake Gremory," the snake man sneered at Jake as he spoke.

"Who the fuck are you two?" Jake shouted at the pair of them.

"How rude of me to forget my manners, even in the presence of filth like yourself," the well-dressed man spoke. "You will refer to me, boy, as Lord Bael," he introduced himself.

"And I'm quite sure I have no need of an introduction," the snake-faced man said with glee as he continued testing out a few spells without his wand.

He marveled at these so-called devils being able to use spells so easily! And now, with this power, taking over the wizarding world would be much easier. Voldemort also felt that his magic reserves were almost ten times as strong as they were in his prime.

He was truly 'thankful' to Jake Gremory for donating his blood to resurrect him, as he was now much stronger.

As the snake man was just monologuing in his own head, Jake just glared at him and spat out, "I have no idea who the hell you are, you snake-face, noseless dickhead!"
