Haru and Vivi were looking at the other three culprits.

*Vivi asked quietly so no one would hear.*
- No, let it go. It's better not to get involved with idiots; idiocy might be contagious.
*Haru said to Vivi.*
- I understand, Haru-san, thanks for the warning.
*Vivi thanked him.*
Nami, who saw Haru and Vivi talking, felt a bit jealous since, for some reason, Haru seemed more attractive since the first time she saw him at the Drum Kingdom castle.
So Nami approached to see what the two were talking about and overheard Haru warning not to get involved with the idiots who helped Luffy eat the food.
Vivi sat near the door after Nami hit the three idiots and said that Crocodile is the hero of Alabasta.

Then Vivi hit Haru on the head, telling him not to eat Karu cooked.

*Haru said, seeing smoke on the ocean.*
- Cotton candy.
*Luffy said, looking at the smoke on the ocean.*
Nami came and explained that it was just steam from underwater volcanoes.
Luffy made a stupid comment, saying he couldn't eat it.
Luffy wondered if in ten thousand years he'd still be alive.
With his senses, Haru felt people nearby on another ship crossing through the smoke right beside them.
Then Haru sensed someone where Karu was being tied up by Luffy and Usopp's fishing rods.
- WE LOST AN OKAMA!
*Luffy and Usopp shouted.*
After the idiots helped the okama, already on the ship, he showed his power. Haru stayed far from the weirdo, not wanting to get involved.
He stayed at a distance, watching the guy transform into Nami and show her breasts.
He kept showing a bunch of faces; Haru saw Vivi recognize one of them.
Nami was asking for someone to kill them until she saw something coming toward the Merry.
When he left with his ship, his crew shouted "Mr. 2," leaving Vivi desperate for seeing her father's face.
Zoro had the idea to use measures to avoid being fooled by him.

Later, a sea cat appeared.
Zoro said they'd finally have food after four days, while Luffy shouted "food," but the sea cat started to flee. Sanji told them to kill it quickly so it wouldn't escape.
Vivi appeared and hit both of them, saying they couldn't eat a sea cat, that in Alabasta, sea cats are sacred.
While Luffy lamented, biting the ship's wood.
Haru decided to test the Rabbit Killer title.
Haru equipped the title and approached Vivi from behind.

*Haru asked from behind Vivi.*

Haru appeared in an alley in the middle of the city in the Kingdom of Alabasta.
I still have five spins on the roulette; I'd better spin before I forget.
So Haru spun the roulette.

Luffy said Ace became a pirate three years ago and also said he never beat him in a fight before.
Luffy then started saying that today he'd beat Ace in a fight.
Haru had already sensed Ace approaching.
When Ace jumped onto the Straw Hats' ship, he asked, to whom:
- You'd really beat?
*Ace said, crouching where Luffy was sitting.*
Ace politely thanked them for taking care of his little brother.
Ace asked Luffy to join Whitebeard's crew along with all his friends.
Luffy refused.
Usopp was shocked to learn that the mark on Ace's back was real.
Ace said Whitebeard was the greatest pirate he'd ever met and would make him the Pirate King, not Luffy.
Luffy said it didn't matter and that he'd defeat him.
Nami asked Ace to come in and have tea; he said it'd only take a minute.
Ace handed Luffy a piece of paper and said it was the paper that would make them meet again.
After talking a bit more, Ace left.

While Ace left, the others talked about him, especially impressed with the difference between the brothers.
Then Ace destroyed five Marine ships with his fist.
Incredible, so that's the power of the Mera Mera no Mi.
*Haru was watching the power of the Mera Mera no Mi, impressed.*
Haru looked at Nami sewing the paper into the straw hat. Vivi brought clothes for Luffy to wear.
While Luffy said he just needed to beat him.
Vivi insisted she wanted to stop the rebellion without shedding more blood.

I'm not going to get involved with the princess's stupid fight; I'll just help Luffy against Crocodile in the end.
Luffy agreed and shouted to go there.

Luffy jumped off the ship, looking at Yuba, but the city was deserted.
Vivi told Luffy it wasn't Yuba, and to get there, they needed to cross the desert.
So this city's name is Erumalu, the green city, but it's nothing but an abandoned place.
*Haru thought, seeing the horrible state of the place.*

Luffy and Haru ended up defeating one each.

While Haru and Luffy were training the dugongs.
After Chopper talked to them.
The dugongs thanked them, and Luffy and Haru headed to Yuba with the others following behind.
On the way, Sanji asked about the dugongs.
Vivi explained about them and the water in the place.
Vivi told the story of the city from two years ago.
Vivi talked about a powder that makes it rain.
The princess started crying on the ground because of the city's situation.
Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp destroyed what was left of the city.
- Hey, what were you doing?
*Nami asked the three idiots.*
- Let's get moving; now I'm anxious.
*Luffy said seriously.*
Finally, this idiot said something serious. I was tired of hearing him talk about defeating the enemy like it was a game.
Well, it's time to get serious too.
Haru opened the shop and went to Armament Haki.
