Chapter 103 Wrath of Vajra has commissioned chapters
A full week had passed after that meeting with Ozpins little secret cabal and while the Ironwoods fleet of battleships continued to fly over Vale's airspace, I had YoRHa continue their efforts in mining out the blasted remains of the shattered moon and continue to build up their forces and even begin creating actual spaceships that followed the gradually enlarging space station that was locked in orbit around Remnant.
Honestly, for all I cared for my team I realized something a bit awkward as I had spent some six months here on Remnant and other than actually becoming decent in melee and strengthening my magic, I didn't have anything major to show for all the time I had spent here. And if I wanted to become an immortal world traveler, I clearly needed to leave the world as this one, had no real methods of providing powerful systems of prolonging my life.
Thus, it was clear that I needed to wrap things up here in RWBY and move on with life with my team following if they wanted to, especially Jeanne and Weiss for a number of reasons.
"Pyrrha, you want to spar again?" I offered stretching as I took out my Virtuous Contract that had been enhanced with Dust to be even more durable and be able to channel large amounts of stress and heat from my various magics.
Pyrrha who just finished beating Jeanne to the ground after she finished catching up with the blond knight that was spraying her down with her new laser minigun smiled at my question as she was still the most skilled fighter on the team after I beat the stupid feelings, she had about used her semblance in a fight out of her by abusing her with my magic and semblance.
"Very well but no locking me in place with your semblance Jake," Pyrrha said smiling as she twirled her spear into its sword form so and raised up her shield, and spun across the ground as she bled off the momentum of the lightning bolt, I slammed her with after she agreed to the fight.
Then as I threw some more magic at her I dodge backward as a bowling ball-sized metal spiked ball flew through the air where my head was previously, and I grinned seeing how Pyrrha was such a much more interesting opponent as she used her semblance to throw metal shit she could control everywhere.
Granted she couldn't micromanage countless objects with some kind of secondary part of her semblance like Glynda had to her telekinesis that could control stuff down to their very atoms to fix broken objects by merging them together by the very atoms.
But she could control much heavier things with her magnetic control than Glynda could with the force of those metal objects being used as phenomenal blunt force weaponry or likewise with spikes added to her newly made ball weapons, she could fight a more elite enemy by smashing them with the spiked balls that were reaching speeds of cannon balls to begin with.
"I really don't like these bludgers!" I cursed wryly shouting as I rolled across the ground as one of the balls smashed into the ground and shattered the concrete floor that made the arena, we were fighting upon.
Pyrrha's head cocked to the side and called back politely. "I am unaware of what bludgers are, but I can stop using these if you want?" She asked as infuriatingly as a Canadian would usual.
In response, I dove from another insane bludger but in my diving, I opened a portal with my semblance as I closed the Gap from the space between where I was diving to the point of right behind Pyrrha so once I came out of the portal I landed atop Pyrrha with her atop of me and my arms and legs wrapped around her neck as I put her in a chokehold and with her above me she couldn't use her semblance drive balls of doom to crush me if I was atop her instead.
"Give!" She choked out after a minute of trying to get out of my grasp but with my stronger legs binding her legs to her sides as they wrapped around her and using my arms to put her neck in a chokehold she couldn't do much without getting herself and me across the battlefield with her semblance controlling her armor but she knew I wouldn't let go and would actually just choke her out to make a point as I didn't like to be rag dolled by her semblance.
I got dragged into doing the splits when Pyrrha pulled on my pants zipper in one spar, and I never quite forgave her for that treachery.
"Darn it I thought I was prepared for the teleport," Pyrrha said good-naturedly as we both got back to our feet from me knocking her down and I grinned as I patted her on her shoulder.
"Honestly you are more skilled in melee than me, so I have to cheat a bit Pyrrha. Anyway, I am going to go take a shower as chasing to fight Ruby has made me sweaty." I then looked at the other four girls on my team. "Girls tonight we need to talk as I got some important things to talk about alright!" I shouted to them all. nodding.
If I dragged them all to a different universe it wouldn't be necessarily all that bad at all. As my Guardian had grown powerful enough with all the Grimm and darkness, I had absorbed that I could open a stable portal to wherever I had the magical coordinates to go. And it's not like I was abandoning the world of Remnant and we couldn't come back to visit, as it would literally only take me like five minutes to walk through the void between realms back for them to visit family.
