We didn't say much though our walk once we left her apartment.

I'm not much of a talker myself, and Mia seemed content with the silence between us.

Silence took over after that sentence. This time, it was kind of awkward though. Mia's smile disappeared and she looked forward, her eyes lost in the path ahead.

Are they fighting? Should I ask her about it? Nah, that would probably worsen her mood.

"So, you and Chad. Uh, you guys like fighting or something?"

Mia stayed silent for a couple of seconds. Her pink pupils landed on mine, and I could tell she was deciding on if talking to me about whatever was in her mind was worth her while.

"Nah. We've just grown apart I guess, nothing specific" she responded simply.

I didn't believe her. Mia is someone that wears her emotions on her sleeves most of the time, and that makes her generally easy to read.

However, I didn't keep pressing the matter. I just nodded my head, understanding Mia didn't want to talk about it.

Thankfully the silence that followed wasn't too long, because a few seconds after my words Mia finally announced we had reached the place.

"Here it is!"

It's not a big place, quite the opposite actually. It's small, and judging by the language on the name of the place Korean as well.

"Do you like Korean food?"

"Yup!" Mia responded, a bright cheery smile on her lips as she gazed inside.

"Do you?"

"Never had it"

Mia's head turned so fast I almost thought she had broken her neck, a shocked look in her face.

"Really!?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, I'm about to change your life then, c'mon"

We walked inside and took a seat, and shortly after a girl with remarkable Korean features walked in front of the table, pen and notepad in her hand.

"Ah, Mia! Glad to see you" she spoke with a welcoming smile, recognition flickering in her red eyes as she looked at the blondie.

Her English was surprisingly perfect, however she did have a very small, yet recognizable Korean accent.

"Ah fifi! I haven't seen you in such a long time"

The two girls talked for a few minutes, catching up and leaving me to sit awkwardly on the side.

Eventually they finished though, and the Korean girl's eyes flickered to see mine.

"Oh, you brought a friend?"

"Yup, he's never had Korean food before, so I'm hoping y'all enlighten him"

"Of course!" She took two menus in her hands and tried to put them on the table, however Mia stopped her.

"It's okay, we know what we want"

No we don't?

"Oh okay, what would you want"

"Two Kimchi stews please"

The Korean girl nodded her head, writing in her notepad before bowing and leaving with Mia's order.

"You didn't even let me see the menu"

"Hehehe, don't worry, I'm confident you'll like my choice"

I didn't have to wait long to find out what this demon had picked for me.

Seems like this place is not very known, and so at this hour we were the only ones eating, so the kitchen went all in and in just a few minutes our dish was done.

The same Korean girl came, two smoking hot bowls in her hands.

She placed them each in front of us, before bowing down again, wishing us a good meal and then leaving once more.

It looks really good, actually. I'm not much of a fan of stews normally, but this one seemed to have some ingredients I really like.

Mia didn't seem to care about her own food.

She just looked at me, both of her elbows pressed against the wooden platform, her hands cupping her face as she looked at my face intently.

"Go ahead, try it" she spoke, an expectant smile on her pink lips.

I nodded and took a spoonful of beef, along with a decent amount of the orange soup. I took a quick sniff of it, its pleasant smell entering my Nostrils before I finally put it in my mouth.

"So, how was it?" Mia asked after I finished eating.

"It's... Very good actually"

"Yup!"

After confirming my approval Mia began eating her own dish, humming like a happy cat every time her spoon entered her mouth.

It was very cute.

Anyway, that's how my first date went. Nothing crazy, no kiss at the end of course, but I would actually say it was very fun for both of us.

She ended up paying the bill as she promised, and then she said that we would see each other at school tomorrow before leaving.

That's right. It's hard to believe all that has happened throughout the Span of a weekend huh?

Tomorrow it's back to the same boring life at school I guess.

But for today, I still have to upload all the pictures I took of Mia.
