A Disciples Fate

Yuuto starts to get worried.

“Kuragami, run!”

“Nah.”

“Kuragami, this isn’t a game! He’s going to make you suffer, just run!”

“If he wants to fight me, I’m here. I will never run!”

Kuragami crouches to the floor and charges up his aura.

“I don’t even have that much aura left.”

Kuragami hears a menacing voice from right behind him.

“You can borrow some of mine.”

Kuragami looks back. A vicious looking shadow disciple is right behind him.

“Genesis, wait! Leave him alone-”

Genesis grabs Kuragami by the head.

“I’ll kill you slowly!”

Genesis let's off a evil smile. He smashes Kuragami's head to the floor leaving a hole the size of his head on the floor. He lets go and walks to Yuuto. Kuragami is on the floor suffering from pain. He isn't moving any muscles. Cold air starts releasing out his body.

“Tatsuo is locked within your soul, yet you still lost to this burden.”

Yuuto stays silent. Genesis gets closer to his face.

“My family aren't weak. We are the world’s strongest fighters. We destroy everyone in our path. You that right, Yuuto?”

“He isn’t a threat, just leave him.”

Genesis backs up. Kuragami struggles to stand up but does it anyways.

“Is that all you got, Genesis?”

Genesis turns around smiling.

“Forget killing slow. I’ll let the depths of hell deal with your suffering!”

Genesis raises his aura.

“Black Terror!”

Genesis dashes at speeds beyond someone like Sky’s top speed. Kuragami has no time to think, react, feel or see anything.

But somehow, a fire beam comes down from the sky and crashes into Genesis causing a large crash and eruption. The eruption pushes Kuragami and Yuuto far back, leaving them both unconcious.

The smoke clears and Akuma appears with his fist on Genesis face which is plummeted on the floor. Fire surrounds Akuma's body showing that he pre powered up the attack. The fire vanishes.

“Genesis. How many times do we have to beat you for you to learn your lesson?”

While injured and burnt, Genesis stands up.

Akuma raises his fiery aura drastically. It stops all the snow from falling.

“What are you even doing around here Akuma?”

“It doesn't matter what I'm doing here. What matters is your going to kill one of the former Kizoku's little brother? Are you stupid?”

“What? You think I’m scared of Yuma? I’m a Yugai. I have a large target on my back that’s already visible to not only the Kizoku, but other outlaws too. Killing a little kid is nothing to me!”

“Well, one of the Kizoku are in front of you. So where is this gonna lead to?”

“I’ll kill you and the other one that came with the team.”

Genesis flies up to Sky who just reached where they all are. His Syplh form fades away.

“Genesis? Dammit.”

Genesis uses Black Terror to attack Sky and directly hits him away from everyone. Sky screams in agony after that fatal hit to the gut.

Akuma chases after the both and leaves Yuuto and Kuragami by themselves.

A hooded figure appears in front of the unconscious two. He is holding a book.

He concentrates aura to two of his fingertips. He taps both of their foreheads.

Kuragami and Yuuto both wake up at the same time. The hooded figure isn’t there.

“The snow has stopped. Did Kuragami lose?”

Cherry and Homura are worried. Sasaki walks up to Yua.

“Yua. How did you know Kuragami was going to be west with the shadow disciple? If your grandfather is an informant then I wouldn’t be surprised if you are.

“No, I’m not! And I had no idea that my grandad was giving information to Raffles.

Kuragami and Yuuto are making their way back to the town.

“Your brother?”

“Yes. His name is Yuuto. He came and told me that this day, will decide if he will ever come back or not. He said that he would destroy the train with all the Fire and Inferno disciples in it. He was going to betray Raffles.

“Hmm.”

“I never thought Kuragami would be fighting your brother.”

"Crimson Flames!"

Akuma releases a special type of flames from his fists to Genesis. However, Genesis dodges it kicks Akuma away.

“I’m going to have to make this short. Sorry Akuma.”

“I was being benevolent until now. I’ll show no mercy.”

Genesis smiles. He lifts his right hand up.

“This is your first time coming across me, Kizoku. So sad that it has to be a short experience.”

Genesis raises his aura. Shadows from across the region start flying in his palm, making his aura stronger.

“What is this sorcery?”

Out of nowhere, the hooded figure appears and grabs Genesis’ right arm.

Genesis looks at him annoyed.

“What do you want?”

“Enough. Let’s go.”

“Yeah we’ll go. After I kill-”

“Now. Our work here is done.”

The hooded figure let’s go.

“Raffles Circus is no more.”

“And what’s that got to do with us?”

“You should be happy Genesis. One of your shadow disciples are swiftly evolving.”

“Who, Yuuto?”

The hooded figure looks at Akuma. Akuma is annoyed.

“Step carefully Akuma.”

A portal slowly opens behind the hooded figure and Genesis. They both get sucked into it.

“The one with Genesis, had to have been the one that holds the tenth Yugai spot.”

Akuma flies off to the remains of the Circus.

Sky gets up.

“Genesis’ presence disappeared. Akuma must’ve scared him off. I need to see if the town is ok.”

Sky slowly flies to the town.

Kuragami and Yuuto both reach the town. This is the first time Sasaki, Cherry and Homura have seen Yuuto so Kuragami tells them on what happened.

Yua walks up to them. She hugs Yuuto.

“You’re back, your finally back.”

Tears stream down her eyes. Yuuto doesn’t know how to react. Though he hugs her back.

Suddenly, Yuuto starts glowing. Yua steps back. Sasaki, Homura and Cherry get quickly go into fighting stances.

“Yuuto, what’s going on?”

Yuuto stops glowing.

“I’m..no longer one of them.”

“Of who? The shadow disciples?”

“Yeah. Genesis released my seal. He can’t monitor me anymore.

Kuragami cheers and pats his back.

“Thats great isn’t it?”

He notices the down look on Yuuto’s face.

“Despite what everyone thinks of them, they were my family. We’ve been through the worst together.”

“Yuuto, I’ve seen Genesis face to face. He’s horrible. Be grateful you don’t have to deal with him anymore.”

Yuuto balls his fists.

“Don’t talk down on him like that!”

Kuragami steps back in shock.

“We were tested on together, we escaped together. All of us, survived together. That bond you can’t let go of easily, no matter who they are.”

Kuragami looks back at his three teammates confused. Sasaki steps up.

“At least you’re free now. You can do whatever you want. You can stay with your family and protect this town now.”

“Yeah. I guess I can.”

“No!”

Sky lands in front if everyone. He walks up to Yuuto. He looks mad.

“Give me one reason why I should let you go freely? You’re a shadow disciple! You and your group have done a lot of bad things!”

Yuuto looks worried. Kuragami steps in. He looks Sky straight in the eye.

"”Leave him alone!”

“Kuragami, they have killed thousands of people and you want me to let him free?”

“All he wants is for his family and town to be safe! You were the one who told me to help save him! Was that just so you can bring him back and lock him up, for some extra credit?!”

“Kuragami. Defending a criminal makes you a criminal you do know that right? I will have every right to take you down with him.

“Sure, defending a criminal does make me a criminal.”

“Exactly.”

“But if I were to let you take him away, then what sort of friend would I be?”

Yuuto is stunned but also amazed that Kuragami would defend him like this. A tear drops from his eyes.

“You know what Sky, I'm with Kuragami on this one.”

Sasaki stands next to Kuragami.

“You can't lie Sky, Kura got you there.”

“A friend of Kuragami, is a friend of mine.”

Cherry and Homura also stand aside them.

“Guys. Thank you.”

They all smile. Sky starts to laugh.

“Fine. I'll let him be. But you have to leave this town, save them from danger. You will still be treated as an outlaw.”

“Yeah I know. I wasn't planning to stay anyways. There’s some answers in this world I need to look for.”

“So that means you leaving little brother?”

“Sorry Yua. I can't stay. I'll make sure to visit though.”

“So in the end, I couldn’t stay with you for good.”

They both hug for the last time. The team smiles. Kuragami steps up to him.

They all stay at the motel for the night.

The next day, Yuuto gets ready to depart from his home town. The whole village are there to say goodbye.

The team are also leaving the town. Kuragami walks up to Yuuto.

“Stay safe out there Yuuto. The world could be dangerous.”

Yuuto looks around.

“I know. I was part of the greatest dangers.”

They both laugh.

“You be careful too Kuragami. Things aren’t as straight forward as you think. The Disciple World is changing quick. I’ll be out there, trying my best to make sure the change doesn’t affect any of you.”

Determination rises within Kuragami.

“Even if you don’t, we’ll be prepared.”

Kuragami and Yuuto handshake. Both Yuuto and the team separately depart from Furendori Town.

In a mysterious island somewhere.

Why did you tell me to get rid of his seal? He betrayed me and the Shadow Disicples. He needs to be punished!”

Genesis and the hooded figure are arguing.

“He needs to experience the world for himself, instead of hiding behind you. He’ll develop quickly and later on in the years, we’ll bring him back.

“And what makes you certain he’ll join us again.”

“I have a plan. Just wait Genesis. It will all work out.”

The hooded man pulls out a book and opens it.

“So it is him.”

“What's with you and that book?”

“That's not for you to know.”

He closes the book.

“Hey Genesis?”

“What?”

“We’ll win. All our wishes will come true in the end. We just need patience.”

Akuma makes it to the remains of Raffles Circus.

Raffles is beat up on the floor, unconcious. Akuma walks up to him with fire in his hands.

“They gave you Hell’s Judgement before I did. How I envy them.”
