A Disciples Fate

All teams go to Danketsu city to accept their missions. All the new Shorai are designated their first mission. It's in disguise as a test to see if they're fit to be Shorai. They will never get designated hard missions, only missions that are possible to complete. A Kashikoi will designate all the missions. Each teams has to meet any of the Kashikoi, or their many assistants, in their office.

Kuragami, Sasaki and Homura looks miserable. Cherry is besides them sucking her lollipop as always. All four of them are in a Kashikoi office getting ready to see what their first mission is. The Kashikoi has an assistant standing beside him.

Sasaki has black hair. His attire consists of black boots, a tough but soft material for battle. He’s in all black with some stripes of yellow. He has cream skin.

Homura has red spiky hair. He mostly wears red hoodies. He’s also wearing grey cargo pants and black and white sneakers. He has white skin.

Cherry has long frizzy hair, the colour of a cherry. She’s wearing a pink belly top that has colourful design and says the word ‘reborn’. She also wearing a black coat on top and blue jeans. On her feet, white and pink shoes.

“Hey, why are all of you so gloomy?”

All 3 of them look at Cherry in disgust. Sasaki looks at her armband. It says Ceres.

“So your a Nature Disciple. When we're on our missions, just stay back and heal us.”

“Excuse me, what did you say?”

Cherry starts to get hostile and goes up all in Sasakis face trying to intimidate him.

“I bet I'm as strong as you. Or at least I can be!”

“Alright that's enough.”

Kuragami goes in between the both of them to stop them from fighting.

“Homura, how did our team turn out like this?”

“Long story.”

Homura is going to tell Kuragami how their team ended up like this.

Homura is walking to the building where everyone has to submit their teams. He feels someone following. While walking, he swiftly turns around and sees Sasaki behind him.

Sasaki walks up to him.

“Hey it's Homura isn't it? Are you going to submit you and Kuragami on the same team?”

“Yeah. Why?”

“Umm.”

Sasaki is embarrassed for some reason. He's leaving Homura confused. Sasaki looks to the side.

“Add my name to your team.”

Homura straight away pulls a straight face.

“Are you asking or telling?”

“Telling, I don't ask.”

Homura face palms.

“Okay ‘your majesty’. Come.”

They both enter the building. There's a lot of people with them. Booths around are filled with submission papers where the Shorai can submit their teams.

“Over here Sasaki. I think we write our names here.”

They both go to one of the booths and fill in their names and Kuragami's for the same team.

“That's it now we can go.”

They both leave the place and walk pasts Cherry entering. Sasaki looks back at her for a second then carries on walking.

A minute later, Cherry exists and runs to Homura and Sasaki. She stops in front of them.

“I'm looking forward to working with you guys.”

She laughs then runs off. Both of the boys both look at each other puzzled.

“She added her name to our team, didn't she Sasaki?”

“Yep.”

“And that's how this team was formed Kuragami.”

Kuragami is left poker faced.

“Ahem. Can all of you be quiet!”

The Kashikoi starts to get fed up at the team. All you can hear is silence from them. Theirs stares are irrirating the Kashikoi.

“Sorry.”

“Anyways, I'm sure that you are all aware that this will be your first mission. This mission will be easy compared to others as we just want to see where you’re at.”

Kuragami puts his hand up.

“Sorry sir, but ain't we suppose to have a captain.”

“Of course, your captain is a skilled Takai, I'll tell you where to meet him after.”

“Takai is the highest rank besides Kizoku. That would mean our captain is really strong.”

“Yes Sasaki, he is one of the people that tried taking Kiyoshi out of his rank. Safe to say out of everyone he did the best. He's one of the few people who actually touched Kiyoshi.”

The pressure in the room starts to thicken. Sasaki starts to get interested in Kiyoshi.

“He's also a very good friend of your brother Kuragami. Or was.”

Kuragami shrugs his shoulders.

“Anyways without further ado, I'll tell you your mission. How much do you guys like the circus?”

“Huh?”

“He said we should meet our captain here. Where the hell is he?”

Kuragami and the others are outside one of Danketsus resturaunt. It seems that their captain is late.

Kuragami looks at the branch Cherry has on her side.

“Nice branch.”

Cherry looks at him surprised.

“Uhh thanks.”

She holds it up smiling.

“It was a present, from a very precious friend of mine.”

It starts to get windy around them.

“Sorry I'm late guys.”

A voice from above falls right in front of them.

“I'm your captain, Sky, just Sky.”

Cherry looks at him in disgust.

“Okay 'Just Sky', why are you late?”

“I just had to talk to someone quickly. It don't matter though let's make our way to the circus. I'm kind of excited to work with all of you. I've heard promising things about you guys. Especially you.”

He directed at Kuragami. Kuragami wonders if he knows about the situation with his brother and Furo. Kuragami decides to respond cheekily.

“I've heard you got your ass beat by Kiyoshi.”

They both laugh. Homura, Sasaki and Cherry see that the both of them are getting along.

“There's just something about him that's why. Something that makes him impossible to beat 1 on 1. I just don't know what it is. No one does. Anyways let's make our way to the circus.”

“Okay!”

Back at the Kashikoi office.

“Sir, surely this isn't a mission for Shorai. Especially not for their first. Shouldn't a Kizoku be doing this.”

“If a Kizoku went to the circus, the Yugai will turn up. And we don't know their strength. If mere Shorai were put on the mission, they will only have Raffles to deal with. And all four of them aren't regular Shorai.”

“But sir I still think it's very dangerous-”

“What if I told you a Kizoku recommended that they do this mission. Also Sky, he-”

The assistant is left startled.

“Plus, the other four Kashikoi and I have named Kuragami as the last Disciple Prodigy of their generation.”

“Really? These last 5 generations are really segregated in strength no?”

“Guys, we've been walking for so long. How far is this circus?”

Cherry slaps Kuragami's back.

“Stop complaining we're almost there, right Sky?”

“Nope.”

Sky starts to laugh. He suddenly stops laughing and stands still. They all notice. Sky looks at Sasaki.

“You noticed too don't you?”

“Yeah.”

Sasaki grips for his sword. He starts to feel the breeze of the wind. He hears all the leaves rustle. A stick breaks. In the direction of the sound, Sasaki draws his sword out of his sword holder. He concentrates his aura in his sword.

“Wild Wolf Hunt”

He swings his sword and his aura turns into the shape of a wolf. The attack is directed at the sound. The impact of the attack creates a loud bang and explosion. The dust of the ground starts to expand around the place. Someone came out of that explosion, jumping up into the air.

He is covered with scratches. Sasaki got a direct hit on him.

“Not bad kid.”

It's an outlaw. He lifts his arm up and creates a thunder ball. His movements seem slow. He throws the thunder ball at Sasaki.

Sky then appears infront of Sasaki waiting for the thunder ball to come.

“Sky watch out!”

Sky slaps the thunder ball bare handed and it disappears.

“Impossible. How?”

He then runs quickly under the Rogue Disciple, jumps up to his height and powers up aura on his right leg.

“You’re from the circus aren't you? That's one reason why I can't let you live.”

Sky smiles. He lifts up his right leg and gives a fatal kick to the head. As his leg makes contact, he raises his aura to make sure that the kick did the job. The whole team felt that aura. It gave them chills in their spines. They both start falling but the outlaw reaches the floor head first. Sky catches his fall. The outlaw is unconscious.

Kuragami is impressed at Sky's strength. Sky puts his hand out facing the unconscious enemy.

“Forbidden Technique: Suffocant.”

“Wait…no please you can't-”

The technique makes it so air is removed from the lungs, leading to death.

“There we go. Well done Sasaki for distracting him. There's three more hiding. You might aswell come out guys.”

Pure silence.

Cherry slyly points her branch behind her. Suddenly, one of the hidden outlaws appears behind her. He has a artificial claw, overwhelmed with aura. She sighs.

“Predictable. Diu!”

Her branch absorbs her light green aura and quickly extends. It hits the outlaw and bashes him through many trees.

The branch makes it back to normal size, leaving the outlaw unconscious.

She looks at Kuragami. He is clearly impressed with her. She smiles.

Another one rushes out the bush with their aura raised. It’s towards Homura.

“Alright!”

Homura claps his hands together, igniting a fire on both of them.

The outlaw swings at Homura. He ducks and burns his chest. The outlaw falls to his knees in agony. Homura raises his aura even more.

“Fire Technique: Flicker Blaze!”

Homura disappears then flickers behind the outlaw. His flames barely catching up, it burns the outlaw and finishes him off.

Sky extinguishes the fire with his wind.

“Nice Homura.”

Kuragami gets irritated.

“Isn’t there one more?! Come one let’s go, it’s my turn to get some action!”

“Wait, wait!”

The outlaw comes out with his hands up.

“I surrender-”

Out of nowhere, Kuragami swiftly bashes his bicep on the outlaws neck, leaving him unconscious.

“Coward.”

“Ruthless.”

Sky chuckles.

“That’s what’s expected though.”

They all carry on walking to the circus.

“Hey guys. I don't know if you guys learned this at your schools, but my WS(Water Section) Institution, we learned this one song.”

“Kuragami, don't.”

Homura, Sasaki and Cherry all face palm in unison.

“We're travelling across the land, we're travelling with all our friends!”

Sky laughs and finishes off the song.

“Across the mountains up and down, we'll stay together till the end!”

Cherry looks at the two that aren’t singing. She shrugs her shoulders.

“We might as well.”

She then starts to join in.

“And even if we're in danger, we'll be together we'll be prepared!”

Now all of them are singing.

“And as we sing our favourite song-“

They all start singing the rest of the song. It seems that the whole team start to build a connection with one another.

“You Shorai sure are funny. Anyways I think now is a good chance to tell you guys that we are going back to where we came from.”

Cherry bites through her lollipop.

“How long have you known?”

“The whole time.”

The team freezes and stares at Sky.

“What's the matter guys. We can just turn around.”

They all start shouting at him.

“You could have just told us way before!”

“What was the point of telling us later on?!”

“Sky I swear I'm going to cut you up right now!”

“Damn you Sky!”

Sky starts laughing uncontrollably.

“You guys really are funny.”

Sky carries on laughing. They all turn around.

In the circus, there's a bunch of performers delivering news to their boss, Raffles.

“Good news boss, they got attacked by some of our fighters and now they're walking away. But it doesn't make sense as they easily defeated them.”

“They're probably gonna come back. And it seems as they're strong. What rank are they?”

“They're just Shorai.”

“So you're telling me that my men got beat by mere Shorai! We need to monitor everyone coming in and out of our area. It's time to test our strong fighters, The Guards of Hell. The transportation will happen with no problems, no matter what.”

“Ok boss I'll get them ready.”

Kuragami sees something ahead. He runs ahead.

“Hey Sky, is that it? Raffles Circus?”

In front of them is a large circus. The place is empty.”

“Yeah. Now guys, they're gonna be expecting us. We need to be on our guard.”

They all nod.

They walk in to the middle of the circus. All the lights are on. Cherry is spooked.

“This is creepy.”

She grabs Kuragami and hides behind her. Kuragami is unbothered and looks around.

“Yeah. A bit too creepy.”

They hear laughs, coming from every direction. They stop moving.

“Yo Shorai, I’ll leave these guys to you.”

Sasaki grips his sword.

“Fine by us.”

From all directions, enemies start coming out the many buildings. Some armed with weapons.

“Here they come.”

They circle around the five of them.

Kuragami raises his aura and grins.

“This will be quick Sky, we’ll be on our way soon.”

The four Shorai get into an all out battle with the outlaws.

Causing destruction to most of the circus, the four of them end up victorious.

One of the outlaws still have enough strength to stand and shout. So as he does;

“Yo big guys! Come help us out!”

100 more enemies with stronger aura than before appear. And there's more. Three 10 foot giants appear. Their aura is significantly more powerful than the others. This leaves Cherry petrified.

“Their aura is, scary. I've never felt aura like this so close to me before.”

All 3 of the giants aura are projected to the team. Sasaki is startled. He grips his sword in his sword holder and raises his aura.

His aura is being overpowered by the 3 giants aura, but you can still feel Sasaki's aura lingering. The three giants just stare at him. All signs of Sasaki's fear disappears. He's ready to fight the 3 giants.

The giant in the middle charges up a punch. Sasaki gets ready for it.

“Wild Wol-”

“Kuragami, Sasaki, Cherry, Homura. Let's retreat for now. I know where to go. We weren't even suppose to go here first. Come follow me.”

Sasaki lowers his aura. They all run and follow Sky.

The giant punches the ground. The punch generated shockwaves in the ground causing a mini earthquake. The ground starts to rumble and cracks turn visible.

Sky makes the team fly with his wind so they don't get affected by the attack. They all look down flapping their arms.

“Woah we're flying.”

“Don't worry Sasaki, we will get the opportunity to fight them later.”

Sky leads them to a town, Furendori Town.

“We will stay here for a bit. We need to look for an old man named Solomon.”

Kuragami walks up to Sky.

“Those giants, infact everyone at that circus, I felt something weird in their aura. It was as if they didn't want to attack us. But at the same time, it felt like they would've gladly killed us.”

Sky and the others look at him like he's stupid.

“Nevermind then.”

“Don't worry Kuragami. We will see if your instinct is right.”

“It's not instinct.”

“The old man works at a motel. It's most likely that motel right there since it's the only motel.”

They all go in and sees a person behind the desk. Kuragami straight away points at them.

“Hey Old Man! What's happening at Raffles Circus?”
