Chapter 90: Rebecca's Gifts
Oliver and Rebecca made love for an hour straight, without even changing positions, because the woman clung to him so tightly she seemed unable to let go.
She appeared far too comfortable that way.
Of course, the end result was that she lay there weak and powerless, breathing like someone on the verge of death after being pressed down for so long. Even her gaze seemed vacant, her eyelids fluttering as if it was too much for her to bear.
Oliver moved to her side but kept his eyes on the woman's love nest, from which white liquid mixed with a trace of red—the remnant of her torn hymen—was still flowing.
She still looked like she was on her last breath even after a while, clearly showing how exhausted she was.
In the end, Oliver got up and fetched a bottle of water from the fridge in the room.
This woman obviously needed help to stabilize herself again.
It was the first time he'd ever seen a woman end up like this after making love.
He wetted her still-beautiful face, then helped her drink.
Only after drinking did she finally start to calm down.
"What's wrong with you?" Oliver asked.
Given that she was a fairly strong Awakener, her body shouldn't have had any problems.
The woman tried to sit up but seemed to struggle, and Oliver had to help her.
When she finally sat, she drank more cold water from the bottle, finishing it in no time.
"I think that pleasure just took away part of my inner pressure," Rebecca answered softly, as if she didn't even have the strength to speak.
Oliver was slightly surprised by her words.
Of course, he knew this woman had hidden inner pressures that shaped who she was now.
They came from many factors, especially her harsh family.
"Will you change?" Oliver asked.
"There's nothing about myself I need to change. But I can say that everything I do from now on will come purely from me—not from my inner pressure," she replied, her voice growing firmer.
"It's a shame we can't be lovers. Honestly, I really wish we were right now," she added, chuckling softly and holding his hand.
"Is there any difference if we keep doing this?" Oliver replied.
"Hahaha, sounds like you just want to keep sleeping with me," Rebecca said, unable to hold back a laugh.
When the topic was this, Oliver felt a bit too lazy to continue.
Rebecca kept smiling, then hugged him and pushed him down so she could lie on top of him.
"I think it's fine if I, at least, consider you my boyfriend," she said.
"And I'm very happy right now because I finally got to make love and found a man who suits me as a partner in bed. Tell me, my dear Oliver, what do you want as a gift? As long as it's something that can be bought with money, I'll get it for you. And it doesn't have to be just one thing—you can ask for several."
Oliver: "…"
"Seems like you're too shy to ask. Fine, I'll choose for you—one mansion and a luxury apartment, complete with maids. Five luxury cars of different types. A jet, a yacht, and a helicopter. Expensive watches and some diamond rings. Oh, and a motorbike too. I think we should take some fun trips on it later. Of course, also a hundred million in cash."
"Don't be crazy," Oliver said.
"You're the crazy one. Sure, this will drain my money, but it's not that much either. You don't know how rich we are. The combined wealth of the thousand richest known people is still below ours. Just my father's managed assets alone are enough to put him in the world's top ten richest people. What? You're afraid to take something from me but not afraid to sleep with me?"
"Ehmm…" Oliver cleared his throat.
"Even though I do want to take advantage of you, gain from you, and enjoy your body, I'll admit that amount of money is a bit overwhelming to me. My family has been wealthy before, but only by a few million dollars," he said.
"In that case, try enjoying real wealth. My manifestation in Manchester has already started buying everything under your name. Unfortunately, I can easily access your personal data. Tomorrow, you can bring your mother and sister to your new mansion. I'm not hoping for anything bad, but as a Cultivator rising too fast, you should move your family somewhere safer."
Oliver and Rebecca talked a lot more. They also ate together, snacking on what they'd bought earlier that afternoon.
By midnight, they finally fell asleep.
They had no idea how Edward was doing at that moment—whether he'd succeeded or not.
Meanwhile, Oliver's other manifestation was feeling quite comfortable as both his true body and his manifestation in Southeast Asia slept.
He was still waiting, and it seemed everything wouldn't take just one day.
The eagles sent out by the Eagle General had finally returned to the nest.
This was what he had been waiting for most.
And the Eagle General himself had returned as well.
But he hadn't just returned—he locked onto Oliver's body with an incredibly powerful aura, suppressing his strength so he couldn't use it at all.
It seemed absurd, but that was simply the result of a vast difference in power.
The Eagle General was clearly wary of him, aware that he could return to the other world he came from at any moment.
If he left, that was fine—but if he left with their treasures, that would be a problem.
While standing before their treasures, he wasn't allowed to move freely.
And now he finally understood what it meant to want to blink but not be able to.
His eyes were mesmerized by the items the eagles dropped in front of him.
Most of what he saw was unfamiliar, but among them were eggs of various colors, sealed to prevent growth yet still radiating extraordinary auras—similar to the golden egg of the White Swan Boss.
He suspected these were eggs containing Special Protein.
Naturally, those were meant for his real body to consume.
As for his manifestation, it only needed items that could increase comprehension of scriptures and techniques, because between his true body and both manifestations, only the mind was truly one.
Of course, among the treasures he saw, there were indeed things that could enhance his comprehension.
He even spotted a single bottle of Earth Path Potion—a potion that could help him advance to the Earth Master Realm after reaching the peak of the Spiritual Master Realm.
Who knew how the eagles had found that potion? Perhaps they had stumbled upon it in some ancient ruins.
Since he hadn't reached the peak of the Spiritual Master Realm yet, he naturally couldn't consume it. He needed something else to raise his cultivation three more stages.
