As Ryan was being beaten and losing consciousness, he found himself in a dark, formless space with his soul floating within it. In this void, nine glowing objects resembling stars of varying sizes appeared before him, arranged in a line from smallest to largest. As he made contact with the star, Ryan felt himself being pulled through a kaleidoscope-like tunnel filled with vibrant colors. Curiosity got the better of Ryan, and he wondered if he had somehow entered the world of the movie Limitless. He recalled that Eddie would soon meet his drug dealer friend. As Eddie left the café, Ryan followed him, leaving the money in his pocket on the table.

Ryan's suspicions were confirmed when Eddie met his friend, who looked exactly like the character from the movie. Ryan realized that he had indeed entered the world of Limitless.
