Doing Business part 2 (12)
"Whoa I have never seen Manager Lan so surprised" Lira commented with an excited smile after all that only meant good news.
"Hahaha and we haven't given him the rings of the Elders of the Purple Mountain Sect yet" Ruvan said with a smile.
'The young master is undoubtedly someone who likes wealth...' Xin thought inwardly while tasting some cookies in silence.
Soon Manager Lan appeared with a smile while rubbing his hands visibly excited. It was evident that his superiors had given him the authority to carry out the negotiation of the goods with Ruvan. Behind Manager Lan came several assistants who looked quite capable and diligent, surely they would be the people in charge of carrying out the registration of the negotiations that would take place next.
"Sorry for the wait Captain Jakob! I think the time has come for us to proceed with business."
"First. I would like to talk about theEarth Grade Techniques belonging to the late Three Swords Sect" Manager Lan said.
"We would like to offer a price of thirty thousand spiritual Low Grade spirit stones for each of those techniques"
"In addition, for each earth-level weapon we are willing to offer fifteen thousand Low Grade spiritual stones for each one of them"
So, little by little Manager Lan was making his offers which, to his good fortune, Ruvan had not the slightest intention of negotiating, after all the prices were within acceptable ranges. The Commerce Pavilion had a reputation to maintain and to do so they had to treat their main clients well.
"Well in total all this adds up to two hundred thousand Low Grade spiritual stones" Manager Lan said with a smile as he imagined the benefits he would obtain after these items were put up for auction that would take place in a few weeks. Although Earth Grade Techniques were nothing to write home about on other continents. On a small continent like Marxus it was undoubtedly something extremely valuable.
"I also have some items that I would like to sell from these rings," Ruvan said with a smile as he took out the Earth Grade techniques belonging to the Elders of the Purple Mountain Sect.
Manager Lan's eyes once again popped out of his sockets as another round of bidding began for the items contained in these new spatial rings.
"Before Manager Lan finishes I would like to remind you that I also have a batch of very good quality slaves waiting to be sold" Ruvan said with a smile.
Manager Lan had already bought slaves from Ruvan before, so he was quite sure of their quality. After all Ruvan only brought the best of the best from his missions.
"Sure. I will call a carriage to take us to that place" Manager Lan said with the best smile he could offer.
'I probably saved a million people in my past life' Manager Lan gloated inwardly as he led Ruvan and his group to the stable where the carriages available for the staff of the Commerce Pavilion were located.

"Wow~ these guys' potential is very good. At least they are guaranteed the Golden Core Realm if they are nourished well" Manager Lan said as he examined the chained disciples with a measuring array. Each of them had bitter expressions on their faces as they watched themselves go from being children of heaven to mere slaves in a matter of a few days.
Each of Ruvan's mercenaries led each slave one by one for Manager Lan to examine them carefully.
"Well… For those with the potential to reach the Golden Core Realm, we are willing to offer twenty thousand Low Grade spiritual stones"
"Now for those with Elemental Core potential we are willing to offer ten thousand Low Grade spirtual tones, for each one of them."
"Now for the three Elders we offer forty thousand Low Grade Spirtual Stones, for each of them. After all although they are established cultivators their potential is limited to that realm" Manager Lan said.
"Now, for the bandits that Captain Jakob obtained I can offer you five hundred Low Grade spirtual stones" Manager Lan said with a smile.
Ruvan knew that Manager Lan was doing it out of courtesy after all these were barely passable slaves. In order to no longer have to carry them around; Ruvan gladly accepted the manager's offer.
"Okay, no problem" Ruvan said indifferently, after all this was not the first time he sold slaves, he was quite familiar with the slave market, its prices and its demands.
"Excellent! Then we have a deal" Manager Lan said excitedly as he turned to give instructions to his subordinates who had been taking a list of the purchased goods.
'Honestly, mercenary missions have become a secondary income compared to selling slaves,' thought Ruvan as he watched as some of the enslaved disciples had their gazes fixed on himself while they cast all kinds of curses that, unfortunately for them Ruvan couldn't heard due to the gags placed in their mouths.
'Hmmm I wonder if one day one of them will be the one to kill me' Ruvan thought briefly before quickly dismissing the thought.
'Even if any of them try I will be prepared after all every cultivator must deal with the consequences of their actions'
"In total we would have a total of six hundred thousand Low Grade spirtual stones" Manager Lan said with a trembling expression after all he had never participated in such a big deal. The faces of Manager Lan's assistants were equally shocked to see such an amount of money involved in a mere business operation.
Ruvan brought his space ring closer so that Manager Lan could deposit the spiritual crystals inside it, due to the large number of them, Ruvan had to use three other space rings to be able to deposit all the crystals.
Ruvan's space ring was quite large in size. After all, a large part of the goods he had stolen when looting his family's treasury were stored there... However, space rings were rare treasures in these places... If he demonstrated that his ring had the capacity for such a large amount of crystals, he would only be causing a problems for himself in the future.
"Captain Jakob, I would like to give you a Silver Pass," Manager Lan said at that moment while taking out a silver medallion with the seal of the Commerce Pavilion.
"May I know the difference between the silver medallion and the bronze medallion I owned?" Ruvan asked curiously as he accepted the tasteful silver medallion.
"A whole world of difference Captain Jakob…"
"First of all, the silver medallion is only delivered to our most important clients. For example, on the continent of Marxus, only royal families and Sect leaders are holders of this type of medallions."
"The silver medallion not only includes VIP attention like the bronze medallion but also includes higher discount percentages and access to purchase information from our intelligence network" Manager Lan said with a smile.
'Whoa that shit is good' Ruvan thought with a smile as he continued to hear about the benefits of the silver medallion.
"One last thing… The silver medallions also allow us to have advance information about the products to be auctioned in our auctions," said the Manager with a suggestive smile.
"Interesting... Tell me more please" Ruvan said with an interested tone.
