Cruel Reality part 2 (2)
"COME ON! ATTACK!!"
"Don't spare any of those bastards" The moment the defensive array finally fell, a wave of screams filled the place. Quickly like an unstoppable tide, the disciples of the Purple Mountain accompanied by a group of Mercenaries began their attack on the walls, which were protected by the Three Swords Sect disciples.
Wave after wave of attackers flooded the battlefield. A deadly fight ensued between the Disciples of the Three Swords Sect, who desperately fought to defend their home and the invaders who for their part only wants to sack and destroy everything within their reach.
"Come on Young People! Don't let any of these bastards step on the sacred ground of our Sect" One of the Elders of the Sect encouraged the disciples on the walls to fight with all their might, however his contagious spirit did not last long. …
"Pch" A huge hammer landed directly on his head, crushing it like a watermelon in front of the disbelieving eyes of the disciples.
"Elder Shen!? The disciples screamed in horror when they saw how one of the Elders they respected so much had fallen in such a pitiful manner.
"Hahahaha nice words… but useless" At that moment an extremely burly warrior sneered while carrying his huge hammer on his shoulder. The man's cruel expression made the Three Sword Sect disciples tremble.
"Oh shit!"
"He is one of the captains of that group of mercenaries!"
"Yeah! From his appearance and his weapon I am sure it is Wiltord 'Wildhammer! One of the Captains of the Blood Wolves" The disciples whispered among themselves as they watched this Wiltord trample without any respect on the corpse of their Sect's Elder.
"Fuck... That bastard is mortal like us."
"Who the hell does he think he is?"
"If we all attack him together he won't be able to do anything" shouted one of the disciples, giving courage to the others who quickly gathered courage and rushed forward.
"Hahahaha poor idiots" Wiltord mocked with a smile as he once again began to swing his hammer, causing a bloodbath among the poor disciples.
This scene could be seen in all the surroundings, however it was not strange to see the invaders die after all there were many traps that they were unaware of. In a short time the place became a sea of corpses as both sides fought mercilessly.

"I never imagined that our Sect would find itself in such a pitiful situation…" Inside a hidden chamber a group of swordsmen gathered, with solemn expressions.
"Those bastards from Purple Mountain changed the rules of the game the moment they hired those mercenaries" Said another of the swordsmen present.
"I know... Even our fourth brother was killed by one of those bastards."
"Lawrence has always been a cunning fox… In the end it is all our fault for not anticipating his movements," A man in a golden robe said at this time. He was the leader of the Three Swords Sect.
"Don't blame yourself, brother... No one would have imagined that that scoundrel Lawrence would sell his soul to those mercenaries, in order to defeat us" Consoled another of the swordsmen present in the room. The three present were brothers and were the undisputed leaders of the Three Swords Sect.
"Third brother is right… Now the most important thing is to preserve our legacy so that our Sect never disappears…"
"You are right… Third brother! Would you be willing to carry out this mission?" The Sect Leader asked with a serious expression.
"But… I also want to face those bastards… I'm sure I can take some of them to hell" said the Third Elder with a determined expression.
"I know, but if Second Brother or I don't show up soon, we will raise the suspicions of that cunning bastard Lawrence... You, on the other hand, have always been a much more discreet figure outside the Sect" said the Leader. He said with a serious expression.
"Phew.. I understand. I will carry out this mission" The Third Brother finally said after a long sigh.
"It's good that you understand... Take this ring... It contains all of our most valuable Cultivation Techniques and Resources."
"Outside the chamber are our core disciples accompanied by some of the most talented young people of the Sect. It is your duty to protect and train them so that our Sect can rise from the ashes one day in the future..." Said the Sect Leader with a solemn expression, before giving his little brother a hug that he was sure would be the last one they would give him.
"Don't worry brother... I promise you that I will give my life protecting these young people" said the Third Brother with teary eyes.
"BOOOOM"
"Sir, the invaders have arrived in the inner courtyard." At that moment one of the Elders burst into the chamber while reporting the progress of the invaders.
"Shit...that bastard Lawrence doesn't care about sacrificing his disciples?" The Sect Leader cursed as he saw how the enemy spared no losses to confront them.
"It's time for you to go brother! Second Brother and I will try to buy as much time as possible" The Sect leader said before finally leaving the chamber with a determined expression on his face.
"If you wanted to come so badly, I will gladly bury you in this place."

"A group of Elders and young people waited nervously outside the Secret Chamber where until recently the Sect Leaders met. Everyone had nervous expressions on their faces after all the sounds of battle grew closer.
"Third Elder!"
Finally, one of the Elders noticed the Third Elder running towards them at full speed.
"Are the preparations ready?" The Third Elder hurriedly asked to which the rest of the Group Elders nodded their heads in affirmation.
"Alright, it's time to go!" Said the Third Elder as he activated a secret passage. Everyone had surprised expressions as they never imagined that a secret passage existed in that place, but they quickly adjusted their thoughts as they followed the Third Elder towards the passage.
'It won't be long before we can leave for the other side of the valley' The third Elder thought in his mind as he looked at the exhausted expressions of the disciples who were trying their best to keep up with the pace of the march.
"It won't be long... Once we leave this place we can take a few minutes to rest" the Third Elder shouted optimistically until a loud explosion brought him out of his thoughts.
"BOOOOM"
The huge explosion resonated in the secret passage causing a huge cloud of dust to rise.
"I think that well-deserved rest will have to wait" A voice echoed through the dust cloud causing the expressions of the Elders and disciples to become anxious. On the other hand, the Third Elder drew his sword as he prepared to face the enemy who had intercepted them.
