The next day, on Sunday, Xia Zhi slept until she woke up naturally. She changed into her home clothes and went to the dining room.

As she walked, she did not see Jinnan. She tentatively called out a couple of times, but there was no response. He must have gone out.

The breakfast Aunt Zheng had made was laid out on the dining table, covered with a mesh cover. She walked over, lifted it to take a look, felt no appetite, and put the food in the fridge.

"Is it convenient? I could take the subway back."

Jinnan smiled, "It's convenient. Just wait there for me."

"Where's your friend?"

"She left, said she wants to meet you formally next time."

Jinnan smiled and told Xiao Wu, "Drive, let's go home."
