CHAPTER 19: ADVANCEMENT OF LIGHTNING STARDUST!
ORIGINAL Author: Chaos
SPINOFF Author: Vester
When Mo Fan last fainted on the doorstep of Mo Qing, just before fainting he quickly entered his Spiritual World and his consciousness was cut off from the body. After that what was happening outside his spiritual world, he had no way of knowing until his body woke up.
“Whoa! I didn’t knew I could do this but it worked!” Mo Fan said happily.
After battling against the Colossal Eyed Ape Rat, Mo Fan felt the Lightning Stardust acting up! He noticed the stars were going crazy as they became highly active. Mo Fan also felt his bottleneck loosening. Mo Fan felt the desire of the stars as they wanted to expand the Stardust further.
Mo Fan felt this phenomenon strange so he decided to cultivate instead of fainting, that’s why he entered the spiritual world since he didn’t want to waste time by sleeping. He closed his eyes and started cultivating when suddenly a calming blue glow erupted from the little loach and encapsulated the Lightning Stardust.
Little Loach helped him in this endeavour after seeing his brave efforts battling against the monster and provided enough energy for him to perform a breakthrough.
The reason why Little Loach was this cooperative was because before traversing here in this world, he was able to eat the energy of 50 Talismans who had energy equivalent 50 servant class soul essences and a warrior class soul essence. He evolved and skipped grades from a below normal Stardust tool to Heaven Grade Nebula Cultivation-Meditation tool!
It was literally a piece of gem for Intermediate Mages. As it was the highest grade even among the Nebula nourishing Equipment.
It was able to increase his cultivation and meditation speed by four times the norm, that means Mo Fan would have 400% more efficiency than his peers.
........
“Yes! YES!! I can feel it! It’s coming!!” Mo Fan exclaimed joyfully as he was able to feel his Stardust expanding.
The Stardust Furiously expanded as the Lightning energy reached its peak!
Crack crack! Boom!!
The Lightning Stardust expanded and became double it’s current size. It evolves and became Basic Level 2 Stardust. Though the energy and mana it contained far surpassed that of normal Second level Stardust. Mo Fan had accumulated so much Mana that his current Stardust’s size was equivalent to normal people’s Peak third level Stardust.
When a Stardust makes a small breakthrough, not only does it’s Mana capacity increases but they also Unlock a two times stronger Spell than the previous one!
It was the same for Mo Fan not only did he felt that his Mana Capacity doubled (That Means he can cast at least 30 Basic Level 1 spells consecutively) but he also felt the aura of a stronger spell! The previous spell couldn’t compare in power with this new spell, but each new tier’s spell also has double mana consumption than the previous one (That Means he can only cast at least 15 Basic Level 2 spells consecutively for now).
“Yes!! Just in Six Months my lightning Stardust already Evolved and became a Basic Level 2 Stardust. This is all thanks to you Little Loach!! If possible I’ll find a female loach for you later.” Mo Fan exclaimed excitedly as he was not able to contain the urge of unleashing the spell ASAP!
But he quickly started his cultivation again to consolidate his new realm. In terms of foundation, no one in this world could match Mo Fan and Little Loach’s combined effort!
.......
While Mo Fan was feeling happy inside his Spiritual World, the effects of breakthrough were evident in the outside world on his body.
There were small sparks emerging here and there across his body as a sign of his breakthrough.
It was already 7am in the morning. Ye Xinxia had long awoken and was helping her Aunt to prepare Breakfast in the kitchen.
Soon after Mo Fan opened his eyes and noticed that he was sleeping on an unfamiliar bed.
“An unfamiliar ceiling...! That’s right I almost forgot that I was... Hurt...??” As soon as Mo Fan remembered that he was badly hurt he quickly stood up to inspect his wounds but, for some reason he was perfectly fine?
He had no idea what had happened after he was stuck in his spiritual world. He thought that he would at least need 1-2 months before completely healing up. But he was perfectly fine.
_Could it be that it was little loach!!_ Mo Fan stared at the wondrous glossy pendant across his neck in awe. When Ye Xinxia who was holding a glass of water in her hand appeared at the room’s entrance.
The glass slipped from her hand & fell on the ground as she covered her mouth with tears emerging in her eyes.
“Brother Mo Fan!!” she shouted and quickly stood up on her two feet but as she took a step further, her knee’s strength gave out and she was about to collapse on the ground.
“Xinxia look out!” Mo Fan was given a great fright as he quickly went and caught her in his arms.
He sighed in relief after noticing she was fine.
“Sheesh! Why would you do something like that, you almost gave me heart attack!” Mo Fan Complained as he looked at her tearful face. He wiped her tears.
“You were the one gave me a heart attack. Waah~ Thank God you’re fine!” Ye Xinxia broke into tears and started crying after seeing him okay, she was relieved.
Mo Fan felt guilty after knowing that how much he had made her worried about him.
_I better hide from her every time i suffer an injury_ Mo Fan swore to himself as he didn’t want her worried.
After hearing Ye Xinxia’s sobbing, Mo Qing also arrived with a warm plate of Porridge in her hands. She sighed in relief after seeing him all fit and fine. She didn’t disturb the young couple and sensibly placed the plate on the dining table, she left them alone until she set the table and placed the breakfast on it.
“Ahem! Let’s eat breakfast if your fine.” Mo Qing said.
“Ye.. yes...” Mo Fan said feeling embarrassed a little and helplessly carried Ye Xinxia to the dinning table as she was not letting go of him.
He placed her on the chair and gave her a glass of milk to drink. She calmed down after drinking it.
Mo Fan sat on the chair in front of Mo Qing and they ate the breakfast.
Mo Qing didn’t disturb him and waited until he finished his breakfast. Mo Fan went into kitchen and washed the plates and came to the room again.
“Mo Fan. Where were you yesterday?” Mo Qing asked him after he sat on the sofa.
“I know I probably caused a lot of trouble yesterday, but I can’t say.” Mo Fan did wonder why she didn’t asked him about it till now.
“Why were you injured so much? Were you the one who demolished the School Building?” Mo Qing asked again patiently.
“I was fighting a Colossal Eyed Ape Rat, which appeared somewhere near here. Since it was my first time battling against a monster, I suffered so much injuries.” Mo Fan told the truth in an apologetic tone, about why he suffered such terrible injuries. Though he didn’t say where he was, but it was pretty obvious that it’s the school, considering he said it was somewhere near.
Ye Xinxia was sitting beside him, she was worried about Mo Fan and when she heard that he was fighting against a monster, her face paled.
He was always fighting against the bullies when he was younger, but fighting a monster is a lot different as even some experienced mages die to them much less an Apprentice Mage.
She also heard and saw the news that her school’s cafeteria building collapsed along with her Favourite library. She clenched Mo Fan’s hands with her small soft and delicate hands which were shivering. She was glad and thankful to God from the bottom of her heart that he survived.
Seeing her like that Mo Qing didn’t say anything further. She stopped her questioning, since she was not dumb enough to not know why he was not saying anything. He probably saw something he shouldn’t have and he didn’t wanted to involve them. She had known him long enough to at least determine that from his facial expressions.
“Well I have to leave for my job now and Xinxia have a 15 days off from school since The Cafeteria building of her school collapsed, fortunately NO ONE was HURT” Mo Qing purposely put more emphasis on those two words.
Mo Fan immediately felt guilty and quickly averted his gaze from her but he did not regret what he did as he was able to foil the Black Vatican’s plan. He may not have found the hole they dug because of some magic tool but after it was destroyed along with the building the authorities may find it and fill it up.
He will leave the rest to them. In truth he even felt like those heroes from comics.
