Various Dropped FFs of mine

Chapter 68: Chronicle/TeenWolf

"Wow, this movie is pretty awesome…it almost makes me sad that it took me so long to watch it." I said as I watched the throw down between Matt and Andrew in Chronicle.

'Then again 2012 was a bad year for me with Grandpa passing away.' I said in my head as an afterthought while my chest started to hurt and suddenly numbing agony shot through my left arm and both of my legs.

My world turned black before I unceremoniously landed onto a raised root system of a tree in a darkened forest lit only by the light of a full moon.

'The Fuck?!' I cried out in my head while taking a sharp intake of breath as I tried to collect myself off a little bit of distance from me. I noticed some flashlights that seemed to be pointed in my direction, along with the sounds of dogs barking and people talking.

"Sheriff the dogs are picking up a scent in this direction." Said a random male voice that might just be a K-9 squad K-9 handler.

"Fuck." I whispered out a curse before bolting in the opposite direction.

I was able to keep myself from being tripped up by the uneven ground and jotting roots of the forest, even though in some spots the leaves were so thick with moisture that they were making me slip and slide with every step.

Suddenly while running my left foot seems to collide with air and I feel myself falling weightless for a very short and sharp moment, rocks bite into my skin as I come to a stop in front of a cavern with something glowing with white blue light, I lay there on the ground with my heart racing and my breaths coming in gasps as I look towards the light a strange pitched noise ringing in my ears.

There in the cavern is a massive, glowing crystal, with strange vine-like shapes visible inside.

'Holy Shit!" I said in my head and voiced out loud as I shakily pushed myself to my feet and approached the crystal from Chronicle and pressed my hand against suddenly the sound I'm hearing changes in pitch as the color of the crystal changes.

A wave of energy leaves the crystal and I find myself impacting the forest floor once more, my heart continues to race, my breaths coming in, in gasps but not from physical exertion anymore but out of panic as I lay face down in the dirt and leaves of the forest floor roots of trees uncomfortably digging into in different places.

Suddenly the ground below me started to tremble, like when a herd of spooked cattle was stampeding and they were heading my way.

My muscles are sore and aching from both outrunning the cops and dogs…and my fall but I push through the pain and force myself to my feet diving behind a large mass of out jutting roots before curling up into a fetal position to reduce the risk of being stomped to death.

The pounding of hooves bombarded my ears while the smell of freshly upturned dirt filled my nostrils.

The assault on my physical senses didn't last long but everything that has happened to me so far has me curled into a ball petrified.

'How? Why?' Were questions that ran through my mind, until I was no longer rooted in place by my terror and I was able to stand up only to feel this malicious rage hammer down on me from behind, my side suddenly flared up in pain as something bit me…something big and fast.

I screamed in pain as I dropped back onto the ground, my whole side burning in agony with what felt like fire racing throughout my veins.

I laid on the ground writhing in agony as a hulking black mass with red eyes stared down at me before it flinched and ran off.

I could hear someone running towards me breaths coming in gasps but I knew if I opened my mouth I'd scream out in pain…again.

'And I definitely don't want to bring that thing back here.' I thought in my mind as someone burst out of some bushes and ran right towards me ramming their foot into my stomach, almost making me vomit, while forcing a scream out of me, while they fell to the ground.

The person groaned as they pushed themselves up onto their feet preparing to bolt again.

I groaned in pain as an inferno continued to rage inside my veins and throughout my body even my eyes felt like they were burning.

" He-Ip...Mee...PLeeeaSe?" I begged my words broken up by coughing.

My ribs ached as I spoke, my cough made me feel like I was being body checked by a two hundred and fifty pound linebacker.

Scarlett didn't know what to do as she saw the injured person on the ground that looked like they were about the same age.

'Mom .'

'What do I do?.'
