Ultimate Spin System: Ero Spin?

Chapter 16: Chapter 16 - Weird ah.. Glasses

Lucas stared at the holographic screen in front of him, filled with hesitation. The bitter memory of the Wealth Spin still lingered in his mind. Three thousand dollars vanished in mere seconds, and now he only had 5 Spin Tokens left.

"Do I really want to take that risk again?" he thought, letting out a long sigh.

The system seemed to sense his thoughts and immediately offered a suggestion.

---

[System Response]

Host, the first spin is usually full of luck. If you're not comfortable with Wealth Spin, perhaps it's better to try another option.

---

Lucas frowned. "Another option, huh?"

He glanced at the spin options displayed before him:

Ero Spin: 4 Tokens. A reward that… clearly won't help his financial situation, even though it was tempting.

Mystery Spin: 5 Tokens. Way too risky—the prizes could be amazing, but they could also be disastrous.

The remaining tokens made him hesitate. If he chose one of those two and got a disappointing result, he'd be completely out of tokens.

"Basic Spin?" he muttered, his eyes shifting to the cheapest option on the list.

Basic Spin only required 1 Token. Low risk, but the rewards… could be anything.

"Alright, let's give it a shot," Lucas finally muttered.

---

[Confirmation: Use 1 Token for Basic Spin?]

"Yes!" Lucas replied, his voice tinged with both doubt and curiosity.

A smaller, simpler virtual wheel appeared before him. Bright colors—blue, green, pink, and gold—spun rapidly. Strange rewards flashed briefly: Temporary skills, 24-hour maximum luck, and even an image of… a golden potato?

"What kind of prizes are these?" Lucas thought as he watched the wheel slow down.

The wheel eventually stopped on a slot marked with an icon of Strange Black Glasses.

---

[Congratulations! You've received the item: "Vision X-Ray 24H"]

Description: Special glasses that allow the wearer to see… other people's underwear.

Duration: 24 hours.

---

Lucas froze. His eyes widened as he stared at the screen. "WHAT?! X-Ray glasses… for underwear?!"

The system responded in its usual flat tone.

---

[System Response]

Congratulations, Host. You now have a tool that may—possibly—be useful. Or, at the very least, entertaining.

---

Lucas buried his face in his hands, a mix of embarrassment and frustration coursing through him.

"What is this…? I just wanted something practical, not some perverted tool!" he shouted.

But behind his annoyance, a spark of curiosity crept into his thoughts. The glasses only lasted for 24 hours. He bit his lip, his eyes glancing back at the icon of the glasses on the system interface.

Just then, the system chimed in again, as if reading his mind.

---

[System Response]

Time is ticking, Host. Use it or leave it—the choice is yours.

---

In front of him, a bright blue light swirled in mid-air, accompanied by a soft hissing sound. Slowly, something began to materialize at the center of the vortex—a pair of black glasses with a bold, garish design and shimmering purple lenses reflecting the dim light in the room.

With a sharp "Ding!", the glasses dropped into Lucas's hand as the holographic particles dissipated.

Lucas looked at the item in his hand with a conflicted expression. The glasses looked… ridiculous. The frames were big and chunky, the purple lenses sparkled, and there were wavy patterns on the sides that made them look like something straight out of a cheap novelty store.

"Seriously? Out of all the possible prizes, I get this?" Lucas thought, staring at the glasses with a tired look.

With hesitation, he reached out and grabbed them. As soon as his fingers touched the frames, the system spoke again.

---

[System Notification]

Item "Vision X-Ray 24H" has been claimed. The duration starts as soon as the item is activated.

---

Lucas swallowed nervously. "So… I just put them on, and they activate?"

He raised the glasses to eye level, inspecting them from every angle. There were no buttons, no extra instructions. They looked like… well, just a pair of ridiculous glasses.

"Am I really going to use this? In public? In front of people?"

He carefully placed the glasses back on the table. The night was growing late, and his mind felt clouded by fatigue.

"Better leave it for tomorrow. I'll think about it again when my brain's functioning properly," he murmured, lying down on the couch.

---

[System Response]

A wise decision, Host. Sleep well. Remember, time waits for no one.

---

Lucas closed his eyes, but his thoughts were still filled with images of the strange glasses on the table. His burning curiosity continued to gnaw at the edges of his mind, even as he tried his best to ignore it.

"What's going to happen if I actually wear them in public? Can I even control myself? What if someone notices?"

Wild thoughts swirled through his head until exhaustion finally overtook him, pulling Lucas into a restless sleep.
